Necromancer: I Am A Disaster

In the deep layer, a thousand Bloodkind gathered, maintaining a vast formation.

The blood curtain covering the Human World was not as simple as it appeared. It was sustained by their combined power.

This was the Bloodkind’s Blood Realm Grand Formation. Through it, they could project their souls into another place and use its power to create clones or summon the Blood Ancestor’s clone through blood sacrifice.

But the moment the heart of the Blood Ancestor’s avatar was crushed, the Blood Realm Grand Formation collapsed.

Adam, who had projected himself into the Human World, spat out blood and fell limply to the ground.

As the grand formation shattered, all thousand Bloodkind suffered backlash, though Adam was injured the most.

“What happened?”

“Why did the grand formation collapse?”

“Where is the Blood Ancestor’s clone?”

Questions welled up, but only Adam knew the answer.

After a long silence, he finally recovered, fear etched in his expression, “In this world… there is a terrifying existence. He crushed the heart of Blood Ancestor’s clone.”

“He also said…”

The others pressed forward, “Said what?”

“He said… he was going to use the Blood Ancestor’s blood for hotpot.”

Every Bloodkind froze, staring at one another in disbelief.

Who would dare say such a thing? Even in the greater world, few would be that fearless.

“I think we came to the wrong world.”

“Has something happened during our thousand-year slumber?”

“Should we contact the Blood Ancestor?”

“Agreed.”

They reconstructed the formation once more, trying to reach the Blood Ancestor across the void.

But no matter how hard they tried, no connection could be made.

The Bloodkind’s faces turned deathly pale.

They had been abandoned.

It was not the first time such a thing had happened.

“What do we do now?”

“We either remain here forever… or find our own way back home.”

“Find a way back? Is there even a way?”

“Yes. There is a path leading to the greater world.”

“Move! Find that path!”

The thousand Bloodkind set out at once. As discarded pawns, they faced only two choices: remaining here forever or carving out their way back.

…

Antares watched the Bloodkind’s reaction and chuckled, “As Bloodkind, they truly have no self-awareness. That Blood Ancestor hasn’t changed in all these years… still as timid and cowardly as ever.”

“That path is no easy road. Even if they find it, they’ll likely die along the way.”

Antares turned toward Lin Moyu, “The show is over. Now it’s time to properly comprehend the law of time.”

Within his soul world, Lin Moyu was multitasking, devoting himself to comprehending the law of undeath.

It governed life and death and was unfathomably mysterious, and he was utterly immersed in its depths.

Antares glanced at him, “Brat, your world is safe for now. The rest is up to you.”

In the Human World, blood rained for three days and three nights before finally ceasing.

Every inch of land beyond the Shenxia Empire had been stained crimson.

The smell of blood hung over the world.

When the Eternal Great Wall was deactivated, the smell of blood that rushed in was enough to make one feel nauseous.

Human class users mobilized again to begin the cleanup.

Meng Anwen and the other God-level powerhouses searched across the entire world.

They found no survivors.

Aside from the Shenxia people, every human had been transformed into a blood slave by the Bloodkind.

It was not only the humans. Even the monsters had been eradicated.

The world had become eerily empty.

Meng Anwen reactivated the teleportation formations, bringing back the Shenxia people stuck in the Dragonkind World.

Inside the imperial palace, the Shenxia Empire’s high-ranking officials and God-level experts gathered.

The entire situation had been too bizarre, too sudden.

In the chaos, there had been no time to understand it. Now, they had to piece together the truth.

“The events have been fully clarified.” Meng Anwen said gravely.

“Back then, alongside the Abyss Demons and the Dragonkind, a race called the Bloodkind also arrived.”

“At the time, only the Shenxia people existed in this world. The Bloodkind used their methods to create an entirely new branch of humanity, similar to us in appearance, but fundamentally different.”

“That is why our ancestors left this warning: those not of our kind are bound to have different hearts.”

“In those days, humanity faced threats from both the Abyss and the Dragonkind. There was no room for internal conflict. Unity was a necessity, and that gave them the chance to grow.”

“Of course, they themselves never knew they were merely blood slaves created for the Bloodkind.”

“A thousand years later, the Bloodkind made their move. You all know what followed.”

When Meng Anwen finished, silence fell over the room. A heavy, suffocating silence. Not a sound could be heard.

After a moment, Ning Tairan finally spoke, “So whether it’s the Abyss Demons, the Dragonkind, or even the Bloodkind… they are all outsiders? Races from beyond our world?”

Meng Anwen nodded, “Beyond our world, there are countless other worlds… and countless other races.”

Though many had been mentally prepared, his words still shook them.

Surprisingly, the calmest among them was Dongfang Li of the Dongfang Family.

Though only level 92, and far from exceptional in combat, his knowledge surpassed everyone present.

Especially when it came to ancient history—no one could compare to him.

Dongfang Li said, “I’ve suspected for a long time that Shenxia City is likely something that came from the world beyond. And the being at the core of the upper layer of the Immemorial Battlefield… he likely isn’t from our world either.”

All eyes turned to him.

Meng Anwen asked with a smile, “What else do you know?”

Dongfang Li said, “Very little with certainty. Most of it comes from fragmented ancient records, combined with my own speculation. Its accuracy is hard to verify.”

“There’s no harm in sharing.” Ning Tairan said.

Everyone present leaned in. At their level, the unknown only became more compelling.

Dongfang Li continued, “We all know our world once endured a great war where the Gods allied with our ancestors. But what came before that? According to my research, an even older age existed.”

“It was an age of brilliance and glory, filled with countless powerhouses far beyond anything we know today. Then, for reasons unknown, that age vanished.”

“Considering the Dragonkind, the Abyss Demons, the Bloodkind, Shenxia City, and that being, I’ve reached a bold conclusion: the people of that age may have left this world. And if they could leave… then others can surely enter.”

Mo Xinghai tapped the table, a steady clack-clack echoing through the room, “But why would they leave?”

Dongfang Li replied, “Perhaps they sought higher goals. Perhaps this world itself became a shackle that limited their growth.”

Silence followed.

For an entire world to feel like a constraint, what kind of power would be required?

After a moment, Dongfang Li said gravely, “That being likely knows the truth. But we lack the standing to speak with him. Perhaps…”

His gaze shifted toward Bai Yiyuan, Meng Anwen, and the others. The implication was obvious: only Lin Moyu could speak with Antares.

Meng Anwen shook his head, “Moyu told us before that there are things he can’t reveal.”

“Forbidden by that being?” Mo Xinghai pressed.

Meng Anwen nodded, “Yes. But I can tell you this much: other worlds exist, and many races beyond ours are watching us like predators. Still, none of that changes what matters most.”

“We must become stronger. If we possess enough power, no invader—no matter how formidable—can threaten us.”

Bang!

Feng Xiu slammed his palm onto the table, “Old Meng is right! Strength solves everything. Now that only the Shenxia people remain in this world, limitless resources are ours to command. Our next step is clear: eliminate the Abyss Demons and wipe out that tumor once and for all.”
