Necromancer: I Am A Disaster

After Antares departed, Lin Moyu once again immersed himself in law comprehension.

The undeath law was truly mysterious.

Within the bone-type multiple-star law art system, the manifested law was steeped in the aura of death, yet within that death aura lingered a faint vitality.

Conversely, in the summon-type multiple-star law art system, the manifested law overflowed with life aura, but hidden within that life aura was a subtle trace of death.

On the surface, the two seemed identical. In truth, their internal structures were fundamentally different. More importantly, both were incomplete, with one embodying death and the other life.

Only when fused together did they form the complete law of undeath.

To command life and govern death, this was the path to achieve undeath.

The process of comprehending this law fascinated Lin Moyu. He reveled in it, never finding it tedious or dull.

Observing Lin Moyu’s steady aura, Antares muttered to himself, “Where did this brat come from? How does he possess such a law? I’ve never even heard of it.”

“Could it be that the greater world rune is wary of him… and that’s why it placed a curse on him?”

“Even if his law arts can’t carry laws, as long as he fully comprehends the law of undeath, their power will still increase dramatically. In essence, it’s no different.”

“In that case, the greater world rune is on the back foot again. It tried to suppress him and failed. How amusing.”

The thought clearly pleased Antares.

Though the greater world rune was the ultimate pursuit for countless beings, himself included, the idea of one day trampling it beneath his feet was truly thrilling.

A glint of wild excitement flashed in his eyes as his gaze shifted toward the Dragonkind World.

Human class user parties were already locked in battle with the Dragonkind.

The Dragonkind did not surrender quietly. Even without the Dragon Emperor and the Dragon Kings, they resisted fiercely.

In fact, they had rapidly regrouped, forming large-scale resistance forces.

The humans, however, had yet to deploy their God-level powerhouses. The conflict had devolved into a grueling war of attrition.

Human casualties steadily increased, forcing them to establish outposts and gradually wear down the Dragonkind.

Meng Anwen and the other high-tier God-level remained hidden, refraining from action.

For many human class users, this war became a brutal trial. Failure meant death; survival meant distinction, the chance to become blades of humanity.

In the blink of an eye, three months had passed since the invasion of the Dragonkind World began.

Many exceptional parties had risen to prominence, such as the Goddess Party, the Earth Party, and the Jialan Guild’s party.

The Goddess Party consisted of Shu Han, Mo Yun, Mu Xianxian, and Ning Yiyi.

Shu Han could both attack and concoct potions. Mo Yun, a Summoner, served as the main attacker. Mu Xianxian acted as a decoy while providing crowd control. Ning Yiyi specialized in reconnaissance and assassination.

Together, they operated with flawless coordination, quickly earning widespread recognition.

The Earth Party, led by Shi Xing’an with Liang Yue as a key member, showcased the overwhelming strength of an Earth Knight in large-scale warfare.

With Shi Xing’an at the core, more and more gathered around him.

True to its reputation as the pinnacle of the Knight class, the Earth Knight amplified the party’s overall combat power, often enabling them to triumph even when outnumbered or outmatched.

…

Antares watched the battles as though they were scenes from a film.

Three months later, Meng Anwen activated the teleportation formations once more.

It was time for another rotation. Veterans from the front lines returned to the Human World to recuperate, while fresh class users untested by war were sent to the Dragonkind World.

Twelve teleportation formations roared to life, pillars of light connecting heaven and earth.

In that instant, several faint cracks split open in midair, vanishing as soon as they appeared.

From them, threadlike wisps slipped through, descending silently upon select individuals.

All of them belonged to factions outside the Shenxia Empire. Not one wisp touched the Shenxia Empire’s people.

No one noticed it, not even Meng Anwen, who controlled the formation.

Only Antares saw it, a strange smile curving his lips, “Great timing.”

“But such petty tricks are useless.

“Still, this age is truly tragic. One can only blame those guys from the previous age for their recklessness.”

He said nothing to Lin Moyu.

Though bound by absolute trust as life-and-death companions, Antares still had his own principles—things he should not and could not say.

His gaze drifted to the deep layer.

There, a thousand Bloodkind had just finished devouring a massive beast, hands and faces slick with blood.

Nearby, a formation hummed.

Two Bloodkind, eyes gleaming with sinister satisfaction, just completed their work controlling the formation.

“The seeds of chaos have been sown. Now we wait for them to sprout.”

“This world belongs to the humans, but they were born at the wrong time. Despair will consume them. They will slaughter one another.”

“When our bloodline awakens, we’ll receive immense power from the Blood Ancestor. These natives won’t stand a chance.”

“Lucky for us, they invaded the fragment world. Otherwise, who knows how long we would’ve waited.”

…

They never realized they were being watched.

Antares regarded their schemes with quiet disdain.

If one had the ability, they should face their enemies openly.

Compared to the Bloodkind, Antares felt that the mongrel Dragons seemed more honorable.

…

The conquest of the Dragonkind World pressed on.

Another three months passed in the blink of an eye, and Meng Anwen once again activated the teleportation formations to rotate the troops.

Human forces had been tempered to a razor’s edge. The military and private organizations alike were honed into blades, every face sharpened with battle intent.

Those who had seen war were worlds apart from those who had not.

Meng Anwen felt a deep sense of satisfaction. Lin Moyu’s plan had not only worked, it had exceeded expectations.

Time flowed on. A full year had passed since humanity first invaded the Dragonkind World. The three-month rotations had been carried out four times.

The original timeline had been six months to a year, but the Dragonkind’s resistance proved stronger than expected, forcing an extension.

Even so, at this pace, another year would suffice.

The Dragonkind’s resistance was weakening; victory was firmly in humanity’s grasp.

“Old Meng… doesn’t something feel off lately?” Feng Xiu approached, voice low.

Meng Anwen narrowed his eyes, “You mean the Eagle Kingdom bunch?”

“Exactly.”

Meng Anwen glanced at Bai Yiyuan not far away, “Old Bai, your thoughts?”

Bai Yiyuan, who oversaw intelligence, spoke, “About six months ago, certain Eagle Kingdom class users began experiencing explosive growth in strength.”

“At first, it was only a handful, fewer than ten. We assumed it was chance and paid little attention.”

“But in the last three months, the number has grown rapidly, and so has the speed of their advancement.”

“It’s not limited to them. Similar cases have appeared in the Holy Overseer Church and West Lands parties.”

Feng Xiu’s expression darkened, “Only foreigners? Any cause identified?”

Bai Yiyuan shook his head, “Not yet. But we’re watching closely.”

Feng Xiu said grimly, “They may be human, but those not of our kind are bound to have different hearts. Stay vigilant.”

Bai Yiyuan nodded, “Rest assured. They won’t be able to stir much trouble.”
