Pillar of Yita

However, this question is too complicated to delve into, and he couldn’t think of a reason for the time being, so he just shook his head and decided not to consider it. Existence is reasonable, and since this is the situation, maybe the truth will be revealed after going to the Second World.

He continued along the previous topic: ”As for how to get a ticket to the Second World, there are actually many ways, but most of them are not suitable for ordinary people.”

”How so?” Ai Xiaoxiao asked.

”Mainly through various competitions—”

”Competitions?”

”Xiaoxiao,” at this moment Tianlan spoke up, ”don’t you know about the three major top competitions?”

”I do know a little,” Ai Xiaoxiao hurriedly nodded. She actually started to understand this world through such competitions. More than a year ago, Fang Hong’s match in Elpaxin connected her to this world.

The so-called three major top competitions are held in the Second World, representing the highest level of Super Competitive events. They are the Ten Kings Contest, the Professional League, and the most famous one, symbolizing the highest honor of Super Competitive—the Super Competitive Championship.

The Ten Kings Contest, as the name suggests, is a competition for the highest honor in each combat profession. Held every three years, it divides Eteliria’s hundreds of main professions and thousands of sub-professions into ten main categories, with a single champion in each category.

That is the origin of each profession’s king title, the Ten Kings.

The Ten Kings Contest is a tournament-style competition, but it is not determined by a single match. To participate in this Super Competitive event, you must first use your representative profession to join various lower-level tournaments designated by the Super Competitive League.

And from these matches, earn points. When the triennial Ten Kings Contest officially begins, the Super Competitive League invites the top three hundred ranked contestants from different categories to participate in this top-level competition and decide the only champion.

Namely, the current inheritor of the Ten Kings title.

The last Ten Kings Contest concluded just a year ago, and the positions of the Ten Kings had hardly changed from the previous one. The next one won’t be held for another two years.

As for the Life Profession League, it is aimed at life professions, similar to the Continental League held in the First World. It is also a league-type competition. However, the Continental League mainly targets newcomers and crowns the New King. The Life Profession League is much more professional—open not only to Invokers but also to Natives.

Because the Life Profession League has no age limit, it is actually a competition where Natives shine the most, and almost every year, a Native champion is born.

The last one, known as the highest honor of the Super Competitive League, the Championship, is for teams and guilds as units. The lower-level events of this competition, in fact, start when Invokers enter Eteliria and join a particular team.

”Yes, Xiaoxiao, you’re not wrong,” Tianlan, from the Twelve-Colored Iris, clearly knew these things intimately, ”this top honor Championship, like the Ten Kings Contest, is also based on a points system. But this points—it’s the points we’ve accumulated through our daily adventures.”

She waved her hands, ”Of course, the points from the First World are insignificant for this competition, but in the Second World, the competition among guilds for task permissions and regional wars is much more intense than in the First World. This is also why the time of the Superiors is so precious—because they are the key assets of a guild, the most core resources that must be used efficiently.”

”Tianlan is right,” Fang Hong praised Miss Poet, ”Simply put, the Championship is both a team and a guild competition. At the same time, it serves as the basis for ranking the ten major guilds in the competition area. These so-called ten major guilds are actually listed according to their final ranking in the competition—in theory, they should be called the ten major guilds, forces, and teams, but generally speaking, this honor is monopolized by the major guilds, and small teams essentially have no chance.”

Ai Xiaoxiao nodded, half-understanding.

She thought for a moment and then asked, ”But what does this have to do with tickets?”

”Because the tickets for various regions are determined through lower-level competitions derived from these three major competitions,” Tianlan answered, ”of course, the major guilds and forces, as well as various countries and the military, have their own quotas, but those quotas have little to do with us. Brother Ade, if he’s interested in tickets, can only pursue free tickets.”

”Free tickets?”

”Yes, the tickets that are not monopolized by major guilds. More than half of these tickets are issued through these small competitions, but they generally limit the champions, occasionally including the runners-up. Xiaoxiao, don’t think it’s easy,” Tianlan sighed, ”these competitions are filled with talented participants, and because they are for free tickets, the geniuses from the Grand Guilds can also compete, making it practically hopeless for ordinary people. I’ve seen this many times.”

”The remaining avenues are the occasional tasks for Adventurers and the Artisan Association in various regions,” Fang Hong added, ”but such opportunities are rare and not simpler than the competitions. Like the recent task the military issued in Charter City, even passing a task of Dragon Witch’s level only granted over thirty slots.”
