Pillar of Yita

Of course, regarding this topic, Parker had raised a stern protest—inside the detention room.

”Actually, it hasn’t absorbed much magic power,” Hilveld looked at the small light ball, smiled, as Nini was hiding underneath Miss Ship’s Officer’s golden hair, looking somewhat apprehensive at the flying thing—she was usually shy. The horned lizard in the cabin had worried her for quite a while, and now, with an unexpected guest, she couldn’t help but furrow her small brows.

”That might be its food, but so far we haven’t figured out the origin of this little thing,” Miss Ship’s Officer continued.

”It doesn’t quite resemble a light spirit,” Tata calmly watched the scene, holding the small teacup, shaking her head, ”Light spirits don’t have any particular affinity for ether; their food is light, nothing else. They love to dwell in the divine realm and are a special type of elemental creature.”

”But it’s not a mental halo either; whether it’s a martial halo or a magic halo, it’s far too different from it,” Fang Hong shook his head.

”However, now we’ve figured out why it’s been following us,” Hilveld said with slight amusement, ”Its interest must lie in the heart of the world tree on you, which contains endless magic power, and because of this, it’s followed us all the way out of the underground.”

Mentioning this matter, Fang Hong was a bit speechless. He initially thought that once this thing lost interest in them, it would leave by itself. But unexpectedly, the crystal didn’t trouble them; rather, this little thing tirelessly followed them, couldn’t be driven away, like a little tail, following them from the underground to the surface.

Then to the Seven Seas Traveler.

And now, he finally understood why. Turns out, this small light cluster feeds on ether, and ether is magic power. And the heart of the world tree on them, containing endless magic power, certainly has a great allure to this little thing?

It’s like a mountain of gourmet food before a foodie, no wonder it couldn’t move after seeing it.

However, the heart of the world tree has now been given to Miss Atira for safekeeping. In fact, the elf miss sensed its presence from him at first sight. After all, she is the guardian of the holy tree, the unicorn girl, very familiar with the aura of the heart of Talaka.

Fang Hong gave the heart of the world tree to her to safeguard, and Atira received it with great care. She planted the heart in the greenhouse of the Seven Seas Traveler, although the withered tree heart might not sprout again, but the unceasingly emitted vast natural power clearly has significant benefits for the magic potion room on the Seven Seas Traveler.

Before deciding how to use this precious material, this definitely is a good place for it.

Hilveld suddenly said: ”But since it’s already settled on the Seven Seas Traveler, and doesn’t seem to plan on leaving anytime soon, shouldn’t we give it a name?”

”No!”

Tianlan suddenly stood up and shouted.

She couldn’t help but feel somewhat fearful looking at Miss Ship’s Officer, wondering how come Sister Hilveld, such a smart person, hadn’t learned from past mistakes yet? She still remembered the lesson with the horned lizard, which was given the name Little Horn, making a lasting impression on her.

But unfortunately, her opposition came a bit late, because Fang Hong had already decided, and he thought for a moment, then said: ”Let’s just name it Little Light.”

Little Light, what a creative name, Tianlan couldn’t help but roll her eyes.

Hilveld lowered her head and couldn’t resist smiling.

In the captain’s room, a sigh instantly resonated, even Mei, sitting aside as a guest, couldn’t help but think that Captain Ade was admirable in many aspects, but seemed to lack the talent for naming.

However, Fang Hong remained oblivious, thinking everyone was jealous of his outstanding talent in this regard, but some things he didn’t need to point out, as the captain, one must be humble. However, he suddenly noticed Luo Yu standing alone in a corner, seeming somewhat distracted from the start, thus he couldn’t help asking:

”Luo Yu, don’t you think this name is quite nice?”

Luo Yu was slightly startled and then snapped back to reality, looking at everyone with a somewhat perplexed expression.

Fang Hong paused a bit, finally noticing a hint of anomaly in his expression—from his usually few words and gold-specked demeanor, but he does have his own thoughts, just won’t speak unless critical.

Especially during such discussions when everyone gathered on the ship, he rarely seemed distracted, sometimes even taking notes. He couldn’t help but ask:

”Luo Yu, what’s wrong, any issues?”

Yet, Luo Yu still seemed somewhat absent-minded, paused briefly then shook his head: ”Nothing, just seemed like I slept too late from yesterday’s night watch.”

”But it wasn’t your turn for the night watch yesterday,” Fang Hong became even more puzzled.

The former closed his mouth, shook his head a little, then replied: ”Sorry, I’m a bit off today.”

He glanced at everyone, hesitated a bit before speaking: ”Ade, I’ll go rest for a bit...”

Fang Hong nodded, watching him push the door and leave alone. The captain’s room fell into a brief silence, as everyone exchanged glances; they were not fools, obviously noticing that something seemed off.

And as Luo Yu exited, Tianlan hurriedly followed. Only before leaving the door did she suddenly remember something, and turned back to look at everyone somewhat guiltily.

”Go ahead,” Fang Hong said: ”Tianlan, go check on what’s wrong with Luo Yu.”

Tianlan quickly nodded, went out and closed the door chasing after.

Fang Hong turned back, exchanged glances with Miss Ship’s Officer beside him.
