Pillar of Yita

These lower-level regions of the Second World, due to the stronger World Law, have also become training grounds for core talents for various Grand Guilds and powers. Almost all the Grand Guilds Fang Hong can list have their branches in the First World, such as the Silver Forest Spear to the Silver Forest Crown, such as the Jiefulite Red Cloak Team to BBK, even Twilight of the Gods, Silver Weslan, and the Rose Cross Army.

But these branches are actually just outposts for various Grand Guilds in the First World, used to accommodate the guild’s peripheral members, and continuously supply the Second World. The core of these guilds, without exception, is within the Second World; their core guild locations in the Second World are often distributed among the twenty-seven different islands as described above.

However, the opportunities for travel are so rare, and the cost of nurturing a newcomer in the Second World is much higher than in the First World. Unless they are core talents favored by those powers, ordinary people have difficulty obtaining a ticket to the Second World through such channels.

Certainly, if a top figure from the Second World is willing to fly with you, like Miya and Baihua, going to the Second World is not difficult. But how many Witches of the Sea are there in this world? Even for Miya, taking him and Baihua is already the limit.

In comparison, various Grand Guilds, powers, countries, and military forces on the Continent still have thousands of quotas per year. Probably, as Sister Sophie said, with the further expansion of the Stargate, the competition for these tickets will become even fiercer.

Unless he is willing to take another path, that is to wait until he reaches max level fifty, and then open Aquilaer’s Gate to the Second World with his own strength. But generally, except for those without connections, few people would choose this path. In comparison to the Second World’s abundant resources, the First World is unimaginably poor. Although the cost of nurturing a newcomer there is higher, the newcomer’s growth speed is often faster, and their limit is also much higher than in the First World.

At least in Sophie’s opinion, if Fang Hong stays in the First World for long-term development, it might not be the most advantageous strategy.

Of course, Fang Hong understands this point too. He never thought of training to level fifty in the First World before going to the Second World. How many years would that take? But taking the first path is not simple either, not to mention he is aiming for something beyond a personal ticket.

It is the ticket for the entire Seven Seas Travel Group.

The difficulty of obtaining such a ticket is evident just by looking at the efforts the Tabopolis Oak Knights have made for the past ten years. If it weren’t for a military connection, even Fang Hong himself wouldn’t dare to imagine this possibility, but with military support, they might indeed have a chance.

After listening to Fang Hong’s description, Ai Xiaoxiao remained stunned for a while before asking in a dazed manner:

”Then how do we get a ticket? And what is the world insignia, why can’t Sister Sophie and the others return after passing through Aquilaer’s Gate?”

”It’s not that they can’t come back,” Fang Hong replied softly while looking at the floating Cloud Sea outside the porthole, ”They just cannot return in a short time. Firstly, sending a rookie to the Second World requires very high costs. Generally, within a flotilla, at least three to four Superiors are needed to protect every ten rookies. About Superiors, I’ve explained to you before: these are people who have exceeded level fifty and entered the Transcendent Domain—these people are usually a guild’s and power’s most core strength, often fighting at the frontline for the guild’s interests. Just the time cost for them to perform a single mission is hard to estimate.”

Ai Xiaoxiao nodded seriously.

”Similarly, bringing these people back to the First World is also a huge waste of resources,” Mei spoke gently, her voice captivating, ”because not only is the First World lacking in resources, but long stays can also hinder these people’s strength. Unless in necessary situations, Superiors rarely return to the First World. For this reason, the recent return of many Superiors to the First World caused a stir.”

”I see, I understand now,” Ai Xiaoxiao replied, ”I didn’t expect Miss Mei to know so much.”

”These are all taught to me by my teacher,” said Miss Knight modestly.

Fang Hong continued, ”Given these reasons, various Grand Guilds and powers understandably have no reason to expend the same effort to send newcomers back after sending them to the Second World. But based on a newcomer’s strength, it’s almost impossible for them to traverse the Continental Bridge back to the First World themselves.”

”However—,” he switched his tone, ”this is only part of the reason, another reason is the world insignia. The world insignia is a kind of recognition by the World Law towards mortals. In the Second World, after reaching three levels of Strength, insignia seeds form in the Spirit World, which is also the origin of the Dragon Knight System. With the insignia seed, one can open Aquilaer’s Gate in the Second World towards that direction and return to the First World.”

At this point, Fang Hong paused, wondering how he obtained the Dragon Knight System without an insignia seed. He turned to look at Miss Tata, momentarily puzzled, pondering whether the Zero-Type Crystal could bypass this step, or if it could accommodate the Dragon Soul without an insignia seed?
