Pillar of Yita

But Rolin smiled: ”Everyone has their own opinions, and I have my own reasons. As for ’him’, I can’t say much. If you really want to understand, you can take a look at Scepter Coast—”

He paused: ”There was once an ancient clan there. You can ask people about Tarlin around Coldwater Port. Perhaps, you will gain something.”

This was the second time within a short period that Fang Hong heard someone tell him to go to Scepter Coast. And he didn’t know if it was a coincidence, but it was also at Coldwater Port.

However, it is now confirmed that within the Dragon Worship Sect, there really are two sharply opposed factions, which corroborated his previous speculations.

It’s just uncertain whether the roles these two factions played in the Dragon Witch incident a hundred years ago are as he guessed.

He opened his mouth and asked: ”Rolin, can you tell me what you know about the Dragon Witch incident from a hundred years ago?”

But unexpectedly, after asking this, Rolin looked at him rather oddly. Then the young man smiled, shook his head:

”Sorry, I can’t tell you.”

Fang Hong stared at him, asked: ”Why?”

But Rolin did not answer.

Fang Hong looked into his eyes, seemingly sensing something. He stepped back and pondered for a while before nodding, expressing understanding.

Rolin then looked ahead and stopped, saying: ”We should have passed the defensive zone of the Sky Pirates. I’ll see you off to this place. As for the matters concerning the Descendants of Flor, I will find someone to ask for you if there’s an opportunity.”

Fang Hong remained silent for a moment.

After fighting alongside Fanric, he originally did not trust this person, but he didn’t expect that the other actually led him and Atira through the Blood Shark Sky Pirates’ defensive zone.

He still couldn’t figure out what the other was after. But after thinking about it, he still thanked the other:

”Regardless, thank you.”

Rolin smiled, not taking it to heart. He nodded and then turned around to leave.

But Fang Hong was quick to stop him first: ”Wait, Rolin.”

”What?”

Fang Hong said: ”Regardless of what your purpose is, I must say, the Dragon Worship Sect is not suited for you. Rolin, if you turn back now, it’s still not too late.”

But Rolin just waved his hand, not turning his head, answered: ”Thanks, but one should know their own affairs.”

Fang Hong looked confused at his back, asked: ”Then do you remember Linen?”

Rolin paused.

”He is misunderstood in the Elfendo Council but still insists that you aren’t part of the Dragon Worship Sect.”

Rolin turned back, grinning: ”In a sense, he’s not wrong. He wants me to join him in the continental league, but I can only apologize to him.”

He paused again, spoke: ”By the way, I know you know Great God Ye Hua?”

Fang Hong was stunned.

Rolin continued: ”If there’s a chance, help me pass an apology to Great God Ye Hua. Also, tell him I will find a way to fulfill the task he entrusted to me.”

After saying this, he didn’t wait for Fang Hong’s response and walked away.

But Fang Hong didn’t see that after Rolin left that collapsed corridor, he suddenly stopped. He pressed his chest with one hand, his face suddenly changing. At that moment, it seemed a bright flame was burning under his fingers.

The young man groaned, his face pale, gritting his teeth, he whispered: ”Don’t rush, wait a little longer…”

And then it seemed he was talking to someone: ”No, I certainly haven’t forgotten…”

”Yes, it’s our contract.”

”But beyond this, you cannot bind me.”

”I understand…”

He spoke the last sentence in a hoarse voice, almost powerless. After a while, the young man was drenched in sweat kneeling on the ground, recovering, but breathing heavily.

On the other side.

Fang Hong picked up the Communication Crystal, seeing it light up as well. He was stunned, and on the window, it was Tianlan’s number—from there should be Hilveld and his party as well, he had something to tell them too, but didn’t expect both sides to be in sync.

He gently grasped the crystal, and Hilveld’s voice came through the communication channel:

”Ade.”

”I happened to have something to find you for.”

”Ade.”

Hilveld spoke—she unusually called Fang Hong by name, her tone somewhat serious: ”You better listen to our side first, we found Mr. Diket.”

Fang Hong hastily asked: ”How was he?”

”Not great, but not the worst situation,” Hilveld replied: ”But before Mr. Diket fell unconscious, he told us some things.”

”What?”

”Do you remember we saw that purple flame creature before?”

”Of course, I’ve told you all, I also saw it once more in that underground sealing.”

Hilveld answered: ”I think it’s quite normal, because that purple flame creature should have left from inside.”

”What?” Fang Hong was shocked: ”Are you saying that’s the Dragon’s Heart’s power?”

”Not exactly,” Hilveld replied: ”I suspect it’s the power of Dragon King Leifgard.”

”Dragon King Leifgard!?” Fang Hong almost didn’t react; how could this suddenly relate to Dragon King Leifgard.

Leifgard wasn’t he dead on the Endless Glacier?

But Hilveld shook her head: ”Ade, do you remember what you told us before? What Eve said to you, why Kalatu and Yoshude sealed the Dragon’s Heart in this place, I guess it’s not just to imprison the Dragon Witch.”

Miss Ship’s Officer stated one word at a time: ”The Dragon Witch incident might have an inseparable relation to the power of Dragon King Leifgard.”
