Pillar of Yita

But as soon as he entered the cave, he was taken aback.

Because it seemed like a great battle had taken place here, the originally towering black crystal clusters had fractured in the center, scattered haphazardly on the ground. Fang Hong’s heart tightened, and he quickly raised the illumination crystal in his hand, but aside from a ground full of sparkling crystal shards, there was nothing else in the cave.

”Ade?” Atira followed him in from behind, saw this scene, then looked at Fang Hong’s expression, and immediately understood what had happened.

However, Fang Hong shook his head with a frown, uneasily glanced around and couldn’t help but shout Eve’s name a few times in a low voice.

Yet, the cave was silent, there was no response except for the distant echo. At this moment, the Elf Miss, who possessed superior scouting skills, seemingly noticed something in a corner, walked over, and picked it up.

When Fang Hong saw it, he felt his heartbeat almost stop—it was none other than Eve’s treasured ring. He immediately realized that something might have happened to Eve, otherwise, given how much she cherished the ring, she would never separate from it lightly.

Who took Eve away?

His first thought was the Descendants of Flor, but Eve herself was not the Dragon’s Witch, she was even frail, how do you explain the combat traces here? Was it a battle between Descendants of Flor and Dragon’s henchmen?

But Eve had surely given him the power of the Ring of Golden Flame and the Dragon’s Heart, so Dragon’s henchmen shouldn’t exist here anymore.

Atira handed the ring to him, then softly said: ”Ade, stay calm.”

Fang Hong nodded.

He was somewhat anxious, but that didn’t mean he had lost his calm.

His first suspicion naturally was the Descendants of Flor—after all, the attackers outside were very likely from the Descendants of Flor; the fact that they deployed personnel at the level of Dragon Knights, plus a fleet, was not strange.

But what was the purpose of the Descendants of Flor’s attack on Idus, he decided to first confirm that. So after calming down, Fang Hong first took out the communication crystal, and entered a familiar number, contacting a certain princess behind Silver Vislan.

Fortunately, that Silver Vislan princess seemed not to have slept yet, and after the communication crystal lit up slightly, a somewhat lazy voice of a young girl came through: ”Ade?”

”Miss Sophie,” Fang Hong asked in a low voice: ”I have to confirm something with you, has Silver Vislan dispatched fleets to Idus recently?”

”Idus?” Sophie yawned, her voice turned a bit curious: ”No, why? If our guild had plans to go to Idus, I wouldn’t have left Fanric at the time, after all, it’s closer to Idus from there, right?”

Fang Hong thought so too, and then asked: ”If it’s not you, then what about other guilds, such as Descendants of Flor?”

The little princess of Silver Vislan caught the implication in his words: ”Wait a minute, you’ve encountered the Descendants of Flor again?”

”Just answer my question, I’m in a hurry here.”

”You’re impossible,” Sophie wrinkled her nose slightly in dissatisfaction. But she understood what Fang Hong was doing, so she thought for a moment and still answered: ”Who can know the internal movements of the Descendants of Flor, but I’ve heard they’re exploiting some gaps lately.”

”Gaps?”

”Hasn’t the Alliance already completely shut down, so the activities for the next half-season are halted, the Descendants of Flor seem to have found an excuse to deal with pirates overseas. Actually, our guild Silver Vislan has similar plans, after all, a large guild can’t completely stop operations.”

Fang Hong didn’t exactly hear the latter part, once he heard that Descendants of Flor had used the excuse of going overseas to fight pirates, he thought: ”I have it—”

”Alright,” he immediately nodded: ”Thanks for the information, Miss Sophie, I understand now.”

”Wait, what do you understand? By the way, how’s your investigation going, did you reach some agreement with my dad, why hasn’t he mentioned you to me recently? Were you recruited by Stargate Port?”

”I’ll tell you next time there’s an opportunity, Miss Sophie.”

Fang Hong hastily closed the communication window.

”Hey!” Sophie was nearly fuming, gritting her teeth while staring at the dimmed communication crystal. She threw the crystal aside with irritation, and it landed right on Xi’s bed nearby, causing the ponytailed girl who was reading to glance at the crystal next to her, then look up curiously at Sophie, not knowing the situation.

”Good thing I haven’t slept yet today, or I’d definitely tear that man to pieces!” Sophie spat out each word.

Xi tilted her head, thought for a moment, then asked: ”Sister Baijia? Ade?”

”Ade.” Sophie replied with annoyance.

”What did he do now?”

”Don’t mention him,” Sophie waved her hand angrily: ”Just a dead man.”

Fang Hong obviously didn’t realize he unwittingly offended the little princess again, he was solely focused elsewhere.

He silently extinguished the light of the communication crystal, rubbed his eyebrows with a bit of suspicion—after all, he initially thought Descendants of Flor played a role similar to Dragonfire Guild, hence their appearance here, but now it seems the whole matter has become somewhat mysterious.

He didn’t believe for a moment that Descendants of Flor specifically came to find trouble with Blood Shark Sky Pirates just to attack pirates for points. Moreover, going overseas to attack pirates, how could they somehow end up striking Idus, apart from the recent south-moving BBK Alliance, the activity scope of Descendants of Flor is not on Colin Main Continent, but around the Scepter Coast.
