Pillar of Yita

”By the way, why is Lady Daisy here?”

In the darkness, Fang Hong asked somewhat unexpectedly.

Atira placed his hand on her shoulder, carrying him forward while glancing back at Lady Cat, who followed closely behind them. Lady Daisy, with her white fur, stood out in the dark, walking with elegance. Noticing their gaze, she raised her head and calmly looked at them.

Her sapphire-like pupils expanded in the dim light, round and emitting a faint gleam.

Atira shook her head, indicating that she was unsure as well.

She mentioned that she had unintentionally encountered Lady Daisy in the corridor, perhaps the latter left the platform with them and followed them to this place. However, both did not delve further into the matter—

In fact, after the journey to the Ancient Castle, Fang Hong realized that this Lady Cat might not be so simple. He twisted and turned, wanting to see what this ’lady’ truly intended—last time it was in the Rogsel family’s castle, and this time under the ruins of Idus.

If there was any connection between the two, it was probably the broken Dragon Slaying Sword he had seen before.

Sword Bearer, Oathkeeper, all were those cursed by the blood of the Demon Dragon clan. But among the five Oathkeeper clans, the source of their dragon blood was different; after going into seclusion, each went their separate ways. Was there any connection between them?

He twisted and turned but could not figure out a trace.

But in the process, he managed to hurt himself, groaning and finally calming down a bit.

Since Atira’s appearance, Miya and R had left successively.

They both clearly had their own matters, only staying to help him out. Before R logged off, he mentioned that he had brought out his best to help him this time, hinting that if he didn’t improve, it would be a shame.

Fang Hong, puzzled, asked what ’improve’ meant, and R simply replied, ”Figure it out yourself.” Then he mentioned something else, telling him to visit Coldwater Port before July, but he never explained why.

When Fang Hong inquired, R only said, ”It will be revealed when the time comes,” then logged off abruptly.

This left Fang Hong slightly confused. He wasn’t sure if his teacher had suddenly come up with the idea, or if it had been planned all along. But if it was the latter, it made him wonder about the sudden appearance and connection of his ’teacher’—

Perhaps it was not just a coincidence.

Yet, as for what would happen in July, he sorted through it in his mind but couldn’t think of any major events—except that in August, the final stage of the Continental League would be held.

Regarding this tournament, his other teacher, Master Ande, along with Chairman Phales and the Old Speaker of Elfendo, all hoped he would participate. However, he hadn’t decided yet. Although his identity was now public and there was no issue on the surface, whether he participated or not mattered little, as he was not particularly interested in such competitions.

Moreover, compared to the pressing construction of the Seven Seas Traveler, the Osh Empire seemed far away.

But R’s reminder somehow caught his attention.

Coldwater Port, located south of Elpaxin, on the long and winding coastline north of the Ancient Tower, is a port city in a fjord.

The great lighthouse of Coldwater Port is quite famous among the Invokers, as it marks the northern beginning of the Scepter Coast—distanced from the warm currents of the Cloud Sea, it serves as a gateway to the vast frozen Winter Country.

Recalling this, Fang Hong couldn’t help but think of another matter—the one the Old Bishop of Cloud Harbor had told him. There must be some inner connection between Toragotos, the Oathkeeper clan there, and Rolin.

Moreover, the Rogsel family also originated there, making the interconnected clues difficult for him to ignore. The closer he got to the family’s secrets, the more he sensed its intricate links with the Dragon Worship Sect and the Dark Giant Dragon.

He would eventually visit the Scepter Coast, so the trip to Coldwater Port also evoked some anticipation.

After R left, Miya stayed behind to ask about his recent situation, but her questions caught Fang Hong off guard, as she showed concern for every detail—about how much experience he gained, how many levels he advanced, what skills he planned to learn, and his future plans, all asked in detail.

Fang Hong didn’t quite understand why she cared so much and cautiously asked, ”Miss Miya, are you still hoping I’ll join you guys...?”

Miya shook her head.

”You’ve already made your decision, haven’t you,” she replied, ”But I have more experience than you, so if you have any questions, you can ask me.”

Fang Hong felt deeply moved; although R had taught him many things, R had little patience, often getting impatient if Fang Hong asked more than a couple of questions. His lack of common sense was because—’Common sense doesn’t need to be taught?’

They chatted for a while longer, and Miya finally mentioned:

”Little White has mentioned you a couple of times this month.”

”Oh?”

”Though he doesn’t seem to mind you outwardly, he actually quite admires you.”

Fang Hong then remembered Baihua.
