’Soul of Shattered Stars, Essence of Casting Brilliance’

Legendary Ring.

It’s one level higher than legendary equipment.

In Eteliria, there are only three levels of equipment with such a category—Legend, Pseudo-Divine Artifact, and Divine Artifact. Besides that, even if it’s of legendary quality, the category of the equipment will only display its original category.

For example, the dagger he made for Elisa, although it’s of legendary quality, the equipment category is still a Magic Guided Conductor—not a legendary dagger. But Legend, Pseudo-Divine Artifact, and Divine Artifact are different. If he made a Divine Artifact dagger, it would be displayed as a Divine Artifact dagger—not a Magic Guided Conductor.

And the attributes of this ring are quite formidable, though there is only a simple statement: Calculative Power enhances Magic Power Output.

It is well known that intellectual attributes are indeed positively correlated with magic power output. However, this correlation doesn’t come from the attribute itself, but from the fact that the higher the intellectual attribute is, the stronger the calculative power, allowing for the usage of a Magic Guided Reactor with higher magic power output.

Therefore, Magic Guided Conductors, Natural Historians, and craftsmen—especially craftsmen—often have Magic Guided Reactors with the highest magic power output and capacity. Of course, their skill consumption is correspondingly higher, so in practice, the difference from other professions is not that significant.

But Fang Hong had never heard that the calculative power attribute itself could further enhance magic power output.

No wonder the Sorcerer-Ghoul would carry this ring, as its attributes fit an Undead Wizard exceedingly well. They act as containers for magic power, allowing this ring to fully exert its function.

Yet Fang Hong also didn’t know if it could produce the same effect on a Magic Guided Reactor. If this ring could use the bearer’s calculative power to increase the maximum output of their Magic Guided Reactor, wouldn’t that be astonishing?

Fang Hong, holding the ring, couldn’t help but let his imagination run wild for a moment. If it could become reality—he couldn’t even count how many schemes popped into his mind in an instant.

But unfortunately, there’s no way to experiment on-site—

The requirements for Legendary Ring, Pseudo-Divine Artifact, and Divine Artifact equipment are all unique.

This uniqueness doesn’t mean there are no level requirements, but rather it requires the wearer to pay a certain price, which is potential and possibly imperceptible by the wearer themselves.

Moreover, once worn, it can’t be removed or dropped, which can indeed be described as a curse. So before wearing this kind of equipment, it’s essential to figure out what the price is.

If the price of this ring was to turn someone into a Sorcerer-Ghoul, wouldn’t that be a disaster?

Fortunately, over thousands of years, mortals have devised many ways to figure out these peculiar legendary equipment and Divine Artifacts. Among them, Appraisers were thus born, as in general, finding a reliable appraiser often clarifies what the negative effects of this Legendary Ring might be.

Fang Hong, holding the ring, carefully checked the remains of the ’skeleton’ again to ensure nothing was overlooked before hesitantly withdrawing his hand.

He couldn’t help it; it wasn’t due to greed, but because the loot from this Sorcerer-Ghoul was abundantly rich for them at this stage. He could hardly resist the urge to take even the skeletal remains, as it was, after all, the body used by a Sorcerer-Ghoul—though it seemed disposable.

Unfortunately, undead creatures don’t have the habit of using potions or other consumables. Otherwise, given the wealth of a character over level forty, it surely wouldn’t be just that little.

Miss Tata, looking at the ring in his hand, suddenly spoke: ”Saint Dilac’s Ring, one of the three holy rings of the fairies.”

”What?”

”This ring was forged in Elvin, and there are three in total,” she calmly stated, ”I’ve seen the other two; the Avenquin Elves gave them to three human Magic Guided Conductors.”

”Sir Roban has one, passed down from his grandfather.”

”You’ve seen them, Miss Tata?”

”I have some vague memories.” Tata thought for a moment. ”I seem to have been on the scene when the Avenquin Elves gave them away.”

Fang Hong couldn’t help but wonder how long Miss Tata had existed, and when exactly she emerged from the Silver Tower?

Yet he didn’t have the mood to delve into this question for now. There must be other powers associated with this ring—’Soul of Shattered Stars, Essence of Casting Brilliance’—just like Dolifen’s three holy relics; the words that appear in the description must have their meaning.

Pity it couldn’t be worn, so of course, it’s impossible to experience it—

He could only further inquire where Miss Tata and Daisy had gone earlier.

Miss Fairy recounted the situation at that time. After he was attacked by the Black Knight and fell unconscious, undead creatures are extremely sensitive to life, so he and Gita were naturally captured.

However, Miss Tata herself is actually a Dragon Soul, so at first, the Sorcerer-Ghoul didn’t notice her. Curiously enough, it also didn’t discover Lady Cat, so the two ladies, one big and one small, circled from the other side of the cave to reach the ’skeleton.’

In fact, he had only been unconscious for a few minutes.

Fang Hong was puzzled by the strange dream he had while unconscious, given that Invokers in a coma can actually know some external circumstances through the Invokers System—that feeling is like being shut in a small dark room, but it doesn’t render one completely insensible of their state.

Let alone having any strange dreams.

Moreover, that strange dream was extraordinarily long; at the time, he almost felt like years had passed. Although Fang Hong understood it might be a temporal misperception—people often find time elongated in dreams due to overly fragmented memories—the sensation still struck him as peculiar.

While Miss Tata was describing quietly, she also mentioned another thing.

She and Daisy, while circling to the other side of the cave, discovered a staircase leading upwards to the castle. In Miss Fairy’s description, there were signs of artificial carving, the steps, rock walls, and arches, looking distinctly different from the rest of the underground cave—

A staircase leading upwards?

Fang Hong was slightly startled, wondering if that was the exit from this underground cave?
