The cold eyes swept across the battlefield as Serea stared blankly at her own hands.

Who am I...

Why am I here...

But when she looked again at Alysta and the others, she seemed to regain her purpose.

”Kill them!”

Silently chanting those four words, Serea was lost no longer. She spread her hands, and blood crystal, Death crystal, Fear crystal, and soul crystal shot forth. The four types of crystals merged into a single pitch-black, unknown crystal.

”Pretending to be mysterious—kill her for me!”

With that order, the bone dragon charged toward Serea, while the Disaster Blood Demon finished gathering its breath attack.

At the same time, the black crystal flew out, embedding itself into the corpse of a bone dragon. What happened next was astonishing.

Black aura coiled around the bone dragon’s body. Revived once again, the bone dragon absorbed the surrounding bones and corpses, swelling rapidly, and an eerie blue light lit up within its body.

A Frost Dragon!

It soared out with blazing speed—so fast that before the other bone dragon could reach Serea, it had already intercepted it.

With a single bite, the Frost Dragon tore the bone dragon’s bony wings asunder with its overwhelming strength.

”Ang!”

After tossing aside the bone dragon’s mangled body, the Frost Dragon turned its head towards the Disaster Blood Demon, just as the Disaster Breath attack swept over.

Frost Breath!

Red and blue breaths collided, evenly matched, but...

Standing atop the head of the Frost Dragon, Serea radiated an intangible intimidation.

Dragon’s Might (Tier Five)!

This oppressive force was etched into one’s soul. Under the weight of that might, the blood demon’s aura faltered, and the Frost Dragon’s breath attack surged forth.

”Ang!”

The earth itself froze, and even the ever-spawning demon mire was sealed in ice.

The draconic race—regardless of whether the dragon was dead—brought about a deterrent no creatures could withstand. This was why, among their peers, dragons were the strongest. Especially when this was the most superior of its kind—a true dragon!

It was worth mentioning that the Dragon’s Might just now was not released by the Frost Dragon, but by Serea herself.

”Dragon’s Might...”

As a member of the elves, a race long allied with the dragons, Lola immediately recognized the power that Serea had used.

But Serea is clearly a vampire Queen—how could she possess Dragon’s Might?

...

In the palace of Okkento, catherine Bloodstorm was staring blankly at the three dragon crystals inside the brocade box. The black one was emitting a faint glow.

”Serea! Wonderful, it’s Serea!”

At this moment, her expression was filled with excitement, for she understood exactly what it meant for this dragon crystal to shine.

But after her excitement subsided, she became solemn. She picked up a communication gemstone, conveyed her intended message, and then, for the first time in a long while, a relaxed smile appeared on her face.

”With this, all my daughters are safe.”

...

On the battlefield, the Frost Dragon submitted at Serea’s feet.

Although the Frost Dragon belonged to the undead and lacked the background of living dragons, by sheer draconic force alone, it was still a tremendously dangerous existence.

Just then, a fourth figure appeared in the sky—it was...

A girl who looked about sixteen or seventeen, named ’Addis Bloodstorm’!

”Damn it! Why am I always the last?”

Adolf cursed angrily. Unable to revive perfectly, he was of no help.

Facing alone both a real dragon and a girl capable of commanding dragons and wielding draconic language magic, alysta was reaching her limits.

”Who exactly are you?!”

Serea did not answer; lost in confusion, she only knew to eliminate the foes before her. Now, she possessed the power to do just that.

Serea Bloodstorm! Level 40! Shadow Dragon Emperor!

Kaedisha! Level 45! Frost Dragon! Legendary!

”Ang!”

The blood demon was frozen solid, immobile, and the Frost Dragon pounced.

Boom!

Two behemoths clashed—the Frost Dragon, at 56 meters long, was clearly a size larger than the blood demon. With the advantage of Dragon’s Might, it pinned the blood demon beneath itself and tore at it viciously.

”Awoo, awoo, awoo!”

Blood spattered, and the Frost Dragon’s absolute zero sapped away the blood demon’s life force unstoppably.

At the same time, Serea leaped toward Alysta.

”Don’t think I’m afraid of you!”

She rushed out and squared off with Serea. But Dragon’s Might made it hard for Alysta to fight back, so even though she was five levels higher, she was steadily forced on the defensive.

Blood Spring surged, but Serea wielded Dark Power to unleash all manner of spectacular dragon language spells.

”That... Is that really our Queen...?”

Lola and the others were dumbfounded, when suddenly, swarms of demon wyverns swooped in to ambush them.

”Help Queen Serea!”

The naga sprang into action, water blades cutting down demon wyverns one after another. Under such pressure, without reinforcements, alysta was about to break.

”Hurry up and help us!”

”On my way!”

The fifth figure slowly appeared in the sky. Inside, Adolf was more anxious than anyone.

At last, the body descended: a handsome, delicate-featured youth. Seeing this, Adolf promptly drew a dagger—and ended his own life with a single stroke.

”Rebirth!”

His bracelet, carrying Adolf’s soul, soared into the sky. The youth in the sky opened his eyes, pale violet gazing down at the ground.

”Come forth, my children!”

Rifts of purple tore open, and countless black insects crawled out—some with razor-sharp limbs, some with repulsive tentacles, some with deadly venom sacs...

As a ’Fear Scholar’, what Adolf excelled at most was creating these little monsters—remember, creating!

The insects immediately swarmed toward the naga and others. Each was not even level ten, but in such vast numbers, flowing as a black tide, their quantity was beyond imagining.

”Sha!”

Another vast rift opened, and a colossal black insect, thirty meters tall, emerged.

Devourer Broodworm! Level 40! Epic!

Many devourers dropped from the broodworm’s body, charging toward Lola and the others, while the broodworm itself charged the Frost Dragon.

Now, the Frost Dragon fought two foes at once—astonishingly evenly matched. But Serea found it hard to handle Alysta and Adolf together.

Glancing back at the Dark Barrier, all kinds of bugs flung themselves at it like they cared nothing for their lives, and the barrier looked about to collapse.

Just then, a blob of violet energy shot over—Serea dodged to the side.

”Getting distracted during a fight isn’t wise.”

Adolf spoke, black insect wings sprouting from his back as he flew in the sky—teaming up with Alysta, the duo put Serea under tremendous pressure.

The battle erupted—Serea, a lower level than both, managed to cope one-on-one via Dragon’s Might, but when outnumbered, she was immediately overwhelmed—and there was one more thing.

Alysta’s level had reached 46, meaning her strength was slowly recovering. If this dragged on...

Even with dragon language magic and a Frost Dragon, she could not possibly win against both...

Lola and the others could not hold out for long. What should they do?

But no one noticed—in the black light pillar, morzada’s necklace was beginning to glow faintly.
