As for why they were called together...

Looking at a blueprint in his hand, lodran hesitated for a moment before replying.

”Queen Serea, we roughly understand your request. We’ll notify the craftsmen to come and assist with the construction.”

”Thank you for your help.”

”Think nothing of it. Didn’t the Queen agree to help us build the enchanted armor workshop as well? Compared to that, this is nothing at all.”

Lodran agreed, and the blueprint in his hand was exactly the construction design for the ”Necromancy Tower.”

After settling the matter, lodran left the treehouse with the dwarves, leaving only Serea’s trusted confidants inside.

She entrusted the mining and smelting to Maro, the outpost camp to Flosa, camp expansion to Leklis, and finally put Celia and Lola in charge of building the opera house.

With everything allocated, Serea felt a huge weight lifted off her shoulders. Maybe this was the benefit of being the boss...

The joy of being a hands-off manager—truly wonderful!

After giving all the instructions, Serea dismissed the others, staying by herself in the treehouse. She then took out a letter she had prepared in advance and summoned a Raven.

The letter was addressed to the ”Whirlpool Tide”

Naga clan at Lake Paske. As the foremost large tribe in the western jungle, the Whirlpool Tide clan was also the only major tribe not to have joined the Maregof alliance.

The reason for contacting them was quite simple. The few naga brought back yesterday all carried the surname ”Whirlpool Tide.”

Even though they had lost their memories, it was clear that the Whirlpool Tide clan was their tribe.

And since they were from the Whirlpool Tide tribe, things would be much easier.

Since the Whirlpool Tide clan hadn’t joined the Maregof alliance, she could use these naga as a connection and perhaps bring in a powerful partner.

With that thought, Serea wrote the letter.

In it, she notified the Whirlpool Tide clan to come and pick up the naga she had rescued. In this way, she would leave a good impression on them.

She sealed the envelope and sent off the Raven, which soared into the sky toward Lake Paske.

With her current matters handled, Serea could now focus entirely on her ”plan”.

Taking out a bracelet, Serea called softly, ”Pelam, I need your help. Quickly turn me into that form.”

”Alright.”

Pelam turned into a mask. Seeing this, Serea fastened it onto her face, and her appearance changed.

She walked to the mirror and looked at her reflection. Before her stood a black-haired girl—less alluring than Serea, but exuding a purer cuteness.

Turning her head to examine this face from all angles, Serea said with satisfaction, ”Very good, I’ll call you Candice!”

Naming the new appearance, Serea stealthily slipped out of the treehouse.

As for why she was in disguise...

Serea had decided to collect Faith Crystals through the marvelous singing voice of a mermaid. But to do so, she would have to perform on stage, and her inner shame wouldn’t allow Serea herself to do it. Thus...

To preserve that last shred of dignity in her heart, candice would take the stage; nobody would know that Candice was actually her.

The plan was simply perfect—Serea couldn’t help but admire herself!

”As for being an idol—let Candice do it.”

Muttering this, Serea sneaked into the camp, circulating several times. Everyone who saw her simply greeted her warmly without realizing she was Serea.

Having already informed the camp there would be a ”friend” visiting, even the patrolling blood slaves didn’t question her. Instead, her beauty drew quite a bit of attention.

Ignoring those looks, Serea walked toward the hollow at the base of the Elf Tree, where Tethys and others were.

Since she wanted to become an ”idol,” she needed to master the mermaid’s singing. It so happened that Tethys and Nora were both present as teachers in the camp.

Entering the hollow, Serea saw Tethys gazing dreamily at Nora, who was now dressed in a mermaid swimsuit. Nora had tears in her eyes, evidently quite unwilling.

”Miss, you’re bullying me...”

”I am not! Nora, you look wonderful in this!”

While speaking, tethys secretly used an image-recording crystal.

”Tethys.”

Serea called out. A flustered Tethys nearly dropped the crystal into the water. Turning around, she saw a strange black-haired girl.

”You... who are you?”

”It’s me, Serea.”

Removing the mask, Serea reverted to her original appearance. Once the two showed shock, she donned the mask again.

”Shh, don’t tell anyone, okay?”

She winked playfully, and both Tethys and Nora nodded.

”But why is Serea disguised like this?”

”Well...”

Serea felt embarrassed for a moment, but remembering she could unlock the ”Abyss Altar,” she came out with it.

”Tethys, please teach me how to sing!”

”Huh?”

Tethys was slightly stunned.

”Does Serea want to become a diva?”

Swimming over, tethys saw that Serea had slipped into the water and transformed into mermaid form as well.

”Sort of...”

”Well, since Serea is already a mermaid, the diva profession is perfect for her. But becoming a diva is very difficult—are you truly prepared?”

”Of course!”

”I see...”

A mischievous smile suddenly appeared on Tethys’ face. That look made Serea feel a sense of foreboding.

”You have to give to receive—Serea should understand this, right?”

”Uh...”

Before Serea could reply, tethys pulled out an outfit from her storage conch.

Tethys’s Swimsuit (Purple)

”Hehe.”

”W-what are you trying to do...”

”No time to waste—let’s start practicing!”

...

Inside a cave at the bottom of Lake Paske.

This was the territory of the Whirlpool Tide Naga clan. At this moment, the clan leader ”Kuruan Whirlpool Tide” was opening a letter and, after reading its contents—

”Where is Dibek?”

At his call, a haughty naga reluctantly stepped out from the ranks.

”Father.”

”I have a task for you. Lead our clan’s guard and Diberu to the south, to the Darkmoon clan’s camp. Confirm whether ’Teusha’ and the ’Cold Iron Trident’ exist.”

”Elder brother Teusha is already...”

”No more questions—execute the order.”

Not a trace of emotion colored Kuruan’s voice. Hearing that icy tone, the naga called ”Dibek” gritted his teeth and replied,

”Understood.”

With that, he exited the cave, accompanied by several guards.

The old chief Kuruan looked down at the letter in his hand and fell into a long silence.
