From BOSS to Canon Fodder: She is Currently Out of Service!

”What do you want?” Su Yanjing remained laconic, a slight glint in his eyes.

”Come down, and let’s have a one-on-one duel!” The woman with the bun pointed at the opponent’s mecha with that long stick, ”Although I’ve studied the Ancient Martial Technique, I just had a match with your grand uncle, and my stamina is down by forty percent. You’ve been piloting the mecha all along, so it seems your depletion isn’t that great. In this way, it counts as another form of ’fairness’...”

”If you win, you can take your grand uncle away. If you lose, you stay to witness the final outcome of this brawl together!”

Su Yanjing was silent once more because he realized the woman with the bun before him was somewhat like Su Jiameng—unwarranted stubbornness, confidence in her strength, provocative tone, defiant gaze...

Indeed, are all the gentle-as-water women dead in this world? Why are there no soft girls and instead only tough women running everywhere? Su Yanjing felt a profound sense of malice from the world; the women here were too dominant, making him feel pressured as a man.

After pondering a while, Su Yanjing found this request quite fair, so he pursed his lips and agreed, ”Alright, I accept!”

Su Lu was about to speak, hoping this foolish grandnephew would leave when, to his shock, the other party foolishly agreed! Damn, doesn’t this dumb kid know that even if an Ancient Martial Inheritor has only a tenth of their stamina left, they can still thrash someone into oblivion?

Of course, someone like Su Jiameng, an ”alien,” is clearly an exception; she’s not a normal human.

”Aren’t you very confident in your adorable grandnephew? Don’t look so glum...” The woman with the bun squatted down and patted her junior brother’s cheek, ”In fact, I think his close-combat skills are much better than yours, an Ancient Martial Inheritor.”

Su Lu sat up straightforwardly, putting the soles of his feet together, ”That’s not the point. The point is you’re tricking him.”

”Haha, you can’t say that!” The woman with the bun seemed to enjoy seeing her junior brother frustrated, smiling with squinting eyes, ”He came alone, and if he were to engage in a mecha battle, do you think my buddies behind me are just here to watch? Wouldn’t he be beaten to death in a group fight? Now, if he fights me one-on-one, at least there’s a slim chance he might escape...”

Su Lu smirked bitterly, saying, ”Haha... Looks like I should thank you, senior sister... I’m so grateful!”

As the saying goes, rumors stop with wise men, conversations stop with laughter. After Su Lu’s words, the dialogue between the senior sister and her junior brother ended. The woman with the bun pulled off the cloth wrapping the long object, and the white strip gracefully curved through the air before falling to the ground.

The cloth came off, revealing the true form of the item, emitting a chilling gleam. It was a blade nearly half a person’s height. The woman with the bun grabbed it with her right hand, thrusting it straight into the ground before her. The tip pierced through as if it were tofu, frightfully sharp.

”Se...Senior sister...” When he saw this blade appear, Su Lu was so frightened he forgot to speak... Internally, he burst into a flurry of thoughts: did someone provoke this senior sister before, causing her to enter berserk mode and even pull out ”Shengping”...

The blade was made in the style inspired by ancient Huaxia culture from the Earth Era. In detail, it qualifies as a Tang Blade among Cross Sabers. The design was simple and ancient, yet not lacking in grandeur, specially commissioned for the senior sister by their teacher from a master blade maker.

Within the vast Future Interstellar realm, various climates and environments of planets birthed numerous exotic species. Even in such a vast background, finding rare and precious materials to forge a blade was not an easy task.

This blade named ”Shengping” was made of unknown materials, combining rare materials, excellent blade-crafting techniques, and the unique manufacturing skills of the Future Interstellar... All these conditions contribute to the blade’s fearsome and valuable nature.

Even their teacher had said he traversed many diverse planets, exhausting much effort, manpower, and resources for this blade. Honestly, upon forging Shengping, he nearly ended up penniless, lacking everything but his pants...

Su Lu’s senior sister was very pleased with this coming-of-age gift, often liking to flaunt it around. Su Lu previously dared to challenge the woman with the bun largely because she hadn’t used ”Shengping.” The blade was simply monstrous; many powerful mechas couldn’t withstand a single strike from it... instantly shredded into tatters.

Originally, his senior sister’s combat prowess was already fierce; adding Shengping, it left no room for survival!

In truth, upon realizing Shengping’s power, their teacher also wanted to apply the technology to mechas. Unfortunately, the primary material for blade forging was acquired by chance, in limited quantity, enough to forge one blade was fortunate; how could it extend to mecha fields?

”You’re not... intending to chop Xiao Jing to death, are you?” Su Lu found women terrifying when they went berserk.

”Why would I... I’m a good person... at most maiming someone!” The woman with the bun lifted her hand and pulled out Shengping, the smile at the corner of her mouth sending a chill down one’s spine. Su Yanjing had reached her, stopping ten meters ahead, drawing the hilt of the Laser Particle Sword from his waist and pressing the button. The vivid blue sword body shot out, emitting a slight vibrating sound.

”I hope you keep your word...” Su Yanjing, seeing the opponent using a sword seeming like an antique rather than the Laser Particle Sword, grew suspicious, tightening his grip on his sword, ”Aren’t you going to switch weapons?”

”No need, Shengping is enough!” The woman with the bun laughed devilishly, saying, ”Under my blade, I never strike down the nameless. My name is Liang Xiaonuo, considered your grand uncle’s senior sister.”

”Su Yanjing.” Tightening his grip on the sword hilt, Su Yanjing remained succinct. (To be continued. If you like this work, you are welcome to recommend it on Qidian (qidian.com) and vote for monthly tickets; your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users please read at m.qidian.com.)
