From BOSS to Canon Fodder: She is Currently Out of Service!

The speed of Ghost Shadow needs no explanation, and with Su Jiameng’s phenomenal and daring piloting skills, the coordination between the person and the Mecha is seamless! She watched the scenes rapidly flash across the virtual screen, her eyes deep and dark, calm and composed!

Freeing one hand, she slid a control knob and switched the mode of her vision. Everything in sight turned to a negative color. Not long after, she murmured, ”Judging from the flight trajectory of that team, it seems to be the enemy’s scout unit...”

Su Jiameng wasn’t ready for a direct encounter with the enemy’s team, so she activated the stealth mode on Ghost Shadow. This kind of stealth is very advanced, far superior to the stealth encountered at the Xilena Affiliated School that day.

Lu Anchen led a team exploring the surrounding traces and enemy signs, concentrating intently. Suddenly, a trace of confusion flashed in his eyes, and his hand on the Mecha controls paused for a moment, almost falling behind. A teammate in the channel asked what was going on, and Lu Anchen closed his eyes to dispel the dreamlike illusion. ”Nothing, just a hallucination...”

Then laughter rang out in the channel, leaving Lu Anchen quite helpless. As a scout, one often needs to focus intensely for a long time, which can easily drain spiritual power, making hallucinations a normal occurrence.

However, with the competition having just started, and feeling no significant mental fatigue, how could... he have such an illusion? During Lu Anchen’s moment of confusion, Su Jiameng, who was stealthily passing overhead, showed an intrigued smile and whispered, ”Quite an interesting person.”

This small detail was like a ripple on the water’s surface from a dragonfly’s touch, disappearing quickly. Su Jiameng continued advancing toward her target, encountering many teams dispatched by Cui Hu along the way. Observing their routes, Su Jiameng roughly guessed these teams’ destinations, which largely coincided with her own setup. However, knowing Cui Hu’s character, he likely wouldn’t send out all his forces...

Su Jiameng did a quick count and found the number of teams she encountered barely reached seven or eight hundred people. This meant there were still plenty guarding the main base, enough for her to satisfy her itch for battle. Thinking of this, she felt a tingling in her hands.

The canyon was indeed a place easy to defend and hard to attack, with extremely treacherous terrain. Even those with excellent Mecha piloting skills would find themselves constrained here, unable to display their full abilities. But Su Jiameng was clearly an exception. Her piloting skills, combined with Ghost Shadow’s Spiritual Fire prowess, found no place that could trap or challenge her! So she maneuvered with ease in this area.

If she disengaged the stealth mode, many would probably see a shadowy figure darting across the perilous rocky forest below with lightning speed, not even stirring the slightest breeze, as if it were a mere illusion.

”This place is well-chosen... Is this Mecha Fighting Arena also rigged behind the scenes? They actually handed such a great spot over to them... Unfair!” Su Jiameng controlled Ghost Shadow to hover in mid-air before climbing onto its mechanical arm to sit.

Taking out a wooden mask to cover the upper part of her face, she then put on a scanning visor. This chaotic battle was being broadcast live in all directions, and she couldn’t ensure that the ever-present cameras wouldn’t capture her features... Well, they say fame is just as much a burden as being a vulnerable pig, and although she was already quite famous, maintaining some mystery was preferable.

There’s a saying, keeping a secret makes a woman more attractive and alluring.

She pulled out a sniping weapon from the Space Hub. This time, unlike the previous violent sniping, she had prepared a full set of sniper rifles of various calibers! Sure to make customers feel at home, the choices of muzzle sizes and ways to die were plentiful!

”The stealth mode of Ghost Shadow has some flaws. Hopefully, I can take them all out before anyone discovers this!” Su Jiameng muttered, with Ghost Shadow hovering over the cliff, below which shadows were scattered across the canyon.

The moment she saw those people, red dots appeared in the canyon on Su Jiameng’s map, indicating these were all enemies!

But besides those in the canyon, dozens of red dots appeared on the Anbola Trees map as well, clearly showing that her allies had already spotted enemy figures. Ha... quite speedy and efficient... Seems the threat was effective.

Thinking of that ”traitorous” Gu Ningzhi, Su Jiameng’s laughter was overly exuberant and intense, like the most blazing sunlight. If Gu Ningzhi saw it, he’d probably break out in a cold sweat. It wasn’t the blazing sun at all—it was pure darkness! The darkened background emitted wafts of black smoke, enough to stop a child’s nighttime cries. Oh damn!
