From BOSS to Canon Fodder: She is Currently Out of Service!

Su Jiameng indicated that being surrounded and watched by a group of people made her feel immense pressure, but now that they had entered the preparation phase, she needed to gather her thoughts and not be too frivolous. With that in mind, she cleared her mind and closely observed the map. As the terrain was fully engraved in her mind, the general outlines of various combat plans began to faintly emerge in her mind, waiting for her to refine them thoughtfully.

”OK, everyone come over here for a meeting!” Su Jiameng set up a temporary combat headquarters in a small clearing and laid out a three-dimensional map, then placed virtual flags on it, so everyone could have a clear view.

Saying ”everyone come over for a meeting,” but only nine vice-captains and a few strong key team members were involved. Otherwise, how could you have a meeting with over a thousand people gathered? Anyway, most people just needed to act according to orders and didn’t need to know the meeting’s content.

Before the meeting, Su Jiameng divided two ten-member teams to monitor and explore the surrounding environment. The maps provided by the Mecha Fighting Arena were just simplified drawings; you could see the terrain but needed the players to explore for specific details.

”Before they return, we need to make a rough deployment for this mixed battle.” Su Jiameng wore a serious expression, her gaze completely different from usual. Because of her aura, even Liu Lanyue didn’t know where to start mocking her.

If there’s anyone in this temporary team who doesn’t take this competition seriously, it’s definitely this little girl who looks young but not serious!

To think about deployment only after the game starts, what was she doing earlier? Perhaps she didn’t know Su Jiameng’s habit; doing homework ahead of time is quite naive and laughable for an ever-changing battlefield.

Even though this was just a game-like mixed battle, Su Jiameng approached it with a real combat attitude, which is why she didn’t do any preparation in advance... Of course, it’s also possible that this guy’s procrastination kicked in, or she simply forgot about it.

”Look at this map; although it’s not large, it includes many interesting terrains. This place looks ordinary, but after checking the map’s built-in data, I found it quite intriguing. It seems like a normal forest, but inside it hides many foggy swamps... And these trees are rare Anbola Trees... This fact could be utilized.”

”Anbola... Trees?” This is a large map composed of many small maps randomly put together. A few people had experienced the swamp region during mixed battles, but there was nothing special about it, whether for ambushes or other purposes, it wasn’t very outstanding.

As for the Anbola Trees that Su Jiameng mentioned, they were hearing about it for the first time. Indeed, the Interstellar Future lacks everything except a variety of fauna and flora; every planet has a lot of unique vegetation. Many people can’t even recognize the plants on their planet, let alone peculiar and odd trees like Anbola!

Of course, if they were willing to spend some time browsing through a vegetative encyclopedia, they might find detailed information about Anbola Trees.

”Anbola Trees are a type of plant that specifically grows in swamps, and they produce special miasma during their growth process. These trees look quite ordinary and can easily get confused with other plants. However, the most distinguishable feature of Anbola Trees is their exposed roots and the color of their sap, along with a smell similar to feces. Moreover, there is a particularly sly ability...”

”Speaking accurately, Anbola Trees are considered a unique plant species. Their roots move, and they don’t move slowly,” Su Jiameng explained. ”I mentioned earlier that this plant has a unique ability, which is their high sensitivity to spiritual power detection, and we can use special instruments to adjust our spiritual fluctuations...”

At this point, Su Jiameng suddenly displayed a sly smile, sending chills down their spines, ”When your spiritual fluctuations are adjusted to match with Anbola Trees, you’ll find that your spiritual power can cover the entire area where Anbola is, and it’s in a full perspective manner. The miasma produced by Anbola is a form of clean energy; after collection and compression, it can act as a bomb.”

”So, when you reach the area where Anbola Trees are, you need to pay attention to two things. First, don’t use weapons that require a compression process, or else you’ll end up blowing yourself up. Second, don’t be careless, because you never know whose eyes might be on you in this forest... Oh, and don’t forget to wear an extra layer to isolate spiritual power...”
