Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 1392: Passive situation

Zhang Daqian was the host and was trying his best to calm everything down. He tried to make everyone feel warm, and Thousand Beast Villa did its best to be a good host.

But once something happened, especially when Thousand Beast Villa was in chaos and didn’t know what was happening, the human instinct made Zhang Daqian ignore those still fighting. He brought his own people and important guests to retreat.

Li Daqian had two options: charge and fight for his two golden pieces of equipment, or head back, gather his me, and then fight back.

He hesitated slightly and chose the second path.

80% of his strength was in battle beasts. His beasts weren’t by his side and were sent into the beast pool. He needed people to help control that top battle beast, but Wen Yan took the star, so he was unable to summon it. Apart from Li Daqian being an eight-star evolved, he was unable to utilise the strength and power of his level.

He knew he wasn’t the match for Pin Palace’s boss, who had a purple equipment.

Of course, he also had another idea: asking these top country factions for help. But Li Daqian immediately shelved those thoughts.

Ask Deacon Water? Just look at the name of her faction, and you will know they were money-minded. If you asked them for help, you would have to pay a price.

Ruan Xiao? Cannibal Chains were sometimes more dark than Five Ring Money.

Restoring Hua Mountain’s Qin Ru? Look at his hurried steps, and you knew that he didn’t want to step into this mess.
Ming City Protector’s Che Dongzhi? This person was strong, but he didn’t bring many people. He was also recently injured.

Jiu Long? Forget it. He was alone. He wouldnʼt have been invited if not for his earthworm being high on the battle beast rankings.

He looked around and saw that there was no one he could ask.

He couldn’t help but look toward Ye Zhongming again.

Cloud Peak’s reputation had been very good in the apocalypse. Although they were vicious and crafty, their reputation was perfect. Besides inviting them for their technological skill, Li Daqian also wanted to discuss a deal with Cloud Peak.

Cloud Peak had various weapons Thousand Beast Villa lacked, while Thousand Beast Villa had battle beasts that Cloud Peak didn’t. They had a basis for cooperation.

Helping each other would increase their strength.

This was a very suitable partner. But Ye Zhongming sensed danger and retreated to a safe zone, which made it hard for Li Daqian to ask him for him.

Li Daqian also wanted to head to the nearest camp and gather his men. But when he observed Ye Zhongming’s squad, he saw that his son was bringing some people and was behind the famous female guards. He changed his mind and headed over there.

At this point, the battle with the apes was near the end.

Although the evolved didn’t receive any commands, and it was chaotic at first with them fighting for themselves, these people were the countryʼs elites. Their factions weren’t in the top ten, but they were on the leaderboards.

The foreigners and those from the Los Alamos lab weren’t very strong. Some people fought for a short while before running toward Wen Yan.

When the apes were all killed, they realised they didn’t kill many foreigners, and some of them were injured because of the sneak attack.

“You…”

Someone shouted. He then felt dizzy, and he started to shake.

The others also felt uncomfortable. Someone shouted, and everyone looked and saw that the apes they killed were all melting.

Although they didn’t know why this happened, getting out of this region was a good choice. They started to scatter.

But it was too late. The apes melted quickly, and their flesh disappeared instantly. They all turned into white bones.

The Los Alamos old man who had reached Pin Palace’s area started to chant.

“Curse Master!”

Many people recognised his job.

Ye Zhongming saw those scenes. He paid some attention and knew the old man was a Curse Master. He was also a Pain Curse Master.

Jobs with prefixes were all extremely good, so this old man’s job had to be good.

As compared to ordinary Curse Masters, their advantage was obvious. This job had many skills and was more effective. The curse speed was also faster and more hidden.

As his curse was completed, the ape corpses exploded and fire in all directions. Even if the evolved tried to dodge, they were still hit.

These evolved had high levels and decent equipment, so even if they didn’t dodge, the bones didn’t deal much damage.

However, they weren’t happy for long when the bones suddenly grew longer. The tough bone structure turned soft like a rope, wrapping their legs and fixing them to the spot.

The bones became hard again, and these people couldn’t move.

“Imprison?”

People who saw those scenes recalled a famous skill of this job.

They didn’t understand why it was used. Although it was useful, it depended on the target. These evolved were all five and six stars; some had reached seven stars. These white bones wouldn’t be able to trap them for long.

This old man answered that question.

As the old man used another curse, the poison landed on those evolved that were fixed to the spot.

Be it Ye Zhongming or Li Daqian, they felt a chill.

The fake competition, explosions, getting Li Daqian’s gold equipment and this poison movement, everything seemed like they were within these people’s control.
