Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 1389: Both with their ultimate moves

When these liquids were poured, the fur of the level three mutated apes corroded. The liquid landed on their skin, leaving a pungent, burning smell.

Many careful people closed their noses and feared the scent was poisonous.

David held a few buckets of liquid and waited on the side.

Since the mutated apes were unconscious, everything was calm. The only sizzling sound was when the liquid corroded the flesh and blood.

Parts of the apeʼs flesh corroded very quickly. Their bones were revealed, and the organs inside could be seen.

It was only because of their strong life force. If they were ordinary lifeforms, they would have already died.

David immediately used brushes to carefully rub the liquid in his bucket onto the bones of the black apes. At the same time, he observed their life signs and reported. If one ape were in a bad situation, the old man would inject some nutrient fluid to keep them alive.

When they wiped the 30 apes with the second liquid, that old man walked to these experimental bodies and took out a black crystal.

They had announced this to Thousand Beast Villa. It was a potion that could be crafted. They even took out a few others to prove this could be mass-produced.

The old man crushed the crystal, and some gas flew out. They scattered. As if they were being attracted by something, they split into 30 parts and into the bodies of the mutated apes.
The second liquid was the one that attracted them.

“Damn---”

“What is that?”

“They are growing so quickly? They aren’t regenerating!”

“Can you sense it? That darkness ability is comparable to Captain Xia Bai’s aura?”

“Xia Bai is only giving off this aura in her normal state; if she went full-on, her aura would be much stronger.”

“That is already decent. If she were really Captain Xia Bai, then she would be at least seven stars. These black apes are giving off a similar aura to her; that should be very amazing.”

“Let’s see what Thousand Beast Villa says.”

As everyone discussed, the mutated apes, who were only left with bones, stood up. Their bodies were covered in black armor, with holes inside where spikes protruded.

It looked as if these apes became strong lifeforms wrapped in armor.

“Weird. They are still level-three lifeforms, and the crystals on their forehead haven’t changed. But the feeling they give people… Very strong.”

Deacon Water was very sensitive to energy. She was probably the only person who confirmed that Xia Bai was eight stars. Although she looked very casual when she talked to Ye Zhongming, she was actually very shocked.

The various super faction leaders were working hard to reach eight-stars, and only some factions completed that mission. Organisations had few conflicts, and the entire country was stable mostly because of this.

Everyone was busy hunting, and that used a large portion of their strength. Even if some people reached eight stars, the factions suffered huge losses to do so.

Not every faction was like Cloud Peak that could hunt a level eight lifeform without any losses.

Organisations needed to kill a few dozen level-eight lifeforms when they were lucky. If they were unlucky, they might need a few hundred. A few hundred intense battles would definitely cause losses.

Of course, those who were unlucky were still gathering level-eight crystals.

Deacon Water was shocked that Cloud Peak had a second eight-star evolved. But in her heart, she felt that it was normal. After all, Ye Zhongming also had a few advanced battle beasts that could battle against eight-star lifeforms. With some luck, it was understandable that he could create another eight-star evolved in a short time.

But what about these mutated apes? They used a liquid and another item to give off a very strong aura. That didn’t make sense!

Deacon Water observed closely and knew that the aura the mutated apes gave off was very close to level six!

What kind of technique could allow something to go from level three to six? Wasn’t this technique too overpowered? Cloud Peak’s gene lab wasn’t able to do that, right?

David completed their modification, so everyone looked toward Guancheng Chun’s lab.

They also completed.

They didn’t knock out the apes. They placed metal racks behind the apes, and there were bottles hanging, which they infused into the apes.

When the apes that were resisting intensely were injected with such potions, they became very well-behaved and stopped moving, which surprised everyone.

Guancheng Chun’s lab members showed everyone a plaster.

It was similar to those in peacetime. Black and circular. They took out 20 pieces at once.

A hole was sliced in all twenty of their heads, and this plaster was placed on it. Guancheng Chun indicated they were ready and needed a short while for the potion injections to complete.

Everyone was stunned.

This third battle concerned two gold pieces of equipment. The equipment belonged to Thousand Beast villa. Was it good for Guancheng Chun to cheat people like this? Did they want to die here?

Even if they did well and lost, things would already be hard to explain. They were now just pasting plasters?

Everyone looked and saw that Li Daqian’s face was very black.

“Zhongming, did you notice something?” Deacon Water didn’t understand and looked at Ye Zhongming.

Ye Zhongming didn’t turn. He looked at the head of the apes where the plaster was and found it familiar. After a few seconds, he realised that it was a similar spot to where the tumours of the tumour zombies grew.
