Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 1384: Mechanical Bug and Lifelike Arm

The second round was about to begin, and Ye Zhongming could only place his questions down.

He did expect others to think of the same questions. After all, be it Los Alamos or the other foreign factions, they were very far from the country. Thousand Beast Villa wasn’t at the border either, so how did they rush over in time? This was only possible if someone told them in advance, which was why they were able to get over.

If you just said that they were here to look at the corpse of the level nine lifeform and they had no goal, Ye Zhongming didn’t believe that.

This competition proceeded the same as the first round. Los Alamos knocked out their ape and then described to the person monitoring them from Thousand Beast Villa the item they were using. They then placed some bugs onto the body of the black ape.

Those with good vision could see that the bugs were mechanical. A few dozen bugs entered from parts of the ape’s body, and no one knew what they were doing inside. But they looked at the spots going up and down in its body and saw they were moving about. After a minute, they disappeared. The black ape woke up and stood there like a puppet.

On the other side, Guancheng Chun’s lab was doing their own modification.

Ye Zhongming heard of this lab in his last life and had even met Guancheng Chun before. However, what he saw was the corpse.

When it was close to the time he died, a strong faction hired their battle squad to clear the outer regions of an area. After half a month, they arrived near a city. No one cared what this city was called during peacetime. They only knew that there were many weird zombies in the city.

The heads of the zombies had an extra ball of meat that looked like disgusting tumors. The people who hired Ye Zhongming’s battle squad called them tumor zombies.

Their abilities were weaker than other zombies of the same level and were much slower. But they had a unique point. They were able to release poison. Their liquid, flesh, and even scent had poison. If evolved touched any of them, it would be a big problem.
Ye Zhongming found out that humans modified these tumour zombies. The organisation that did it was Guancheng Chun’s dark lab.

They modified all the zombies in an entire city. Be it then or now, Ye Zhongming was impressed by their determination.

You had to modify these zombies individually, not in a large factory line.

This meant that their lab had to capture the zombies one by one and perform surgery on them. Even if the tumor zombies would listen to their orders and turn the entire city into their protective umbrella, the entire process was not something ordinary people could do.

How long did it take for them to complete this?

The poison was very strong. Ranged users like Ye Zhongming were very comfortable as they were far away. That super faction even provided him with many bullets.

This siege lasted for a week and ended with that super faction winning. When that faction brought some corpses and prisoners out, Ye Zhongming saw the dead Guancheng Chun. Then, he found out that the guy with eight legs and eight arms was the labʼs boss.

They said that he was an eight-star evolved and was one step to nine-stars.

Ye Zhongming didn’t know what that super faction got from the dark lab, but it was definitely huge.

In this life, Ye Zhongming was in awe when he looked at Guancheng Chun, who only had four legs and two arms.

His lab and he definithe had something that people eyed; if not, t;ey woul,dn’t have wiped an entire out city full of zombies to attack them.

Guancheng Chun didn’t do what he did before. He didn’t knock the ape out and just sliced its limbs off.

The monsterʼs cries and the blood caused everyone’s expression to change. The gore didn’t fit well with the occasion today.

But what they did next was something David and Los Alamos opposed.

What Guancheng Chun’s lab was going to do was transplant.

Their reason was obvious. Guancheng Chun and his subordinate had broken the rules. Not only were they using some techniques on the ape, but they were also using the help of other things.

But Guancheng Chun had a good reason. He was showing off the transplant technique and was using the black ape as the main body, which was allowed by the rules.

Such a competition that happened out of nowhere wouldn’t have 100% tight rules. Li Daqian found it tough, and after asking for everyone’s opinion, he decided that Guancheng Chun’s lab didn’t break the rules.

There were a few foreign factions, but most of them were still Chinese. He also didn’t have any good feelings towards these foreigners.

After receiving permission, Guancheng Chun and the others continued. They took out four mechanical arms from their space.

Everyone smiled. These two labs were natural enemies? One took out mechanical bugs, and the other took mechanical arms.

But everyone quickly noticed that Guancheng Chun not only took out mechanical arms but lifelike arms. They were made of blood and flesh. They operated on the spot and sewed the lifelike arms onto the black ape.

Their familiarity showed that this wasn’t the first time.

They scattered some healing powder on the wound and fed it some healing potions from the wheel. Their subordinate also used an unknown darkness skill.

These were to heal the mutated ape and not to increase its strength, so they were allowed.

Both sides were ready and moved their products to the center. Los Alamos’ David personally walked down. He held a helmet and said that he was going to control it personally.

Guancheng Chun was unhappy and was worried the opponent would play some tricks.

David explained and even told Thousand Beast Villa to test. After confirming that he couldn’t affect the ape’s strength, everyone agreed.

Both sides used extremely good things for the second battle, and neither could afford to lose. So both sides were very careful.

The atmosphere became very tense.
