Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 1361: Killing

Ye Zhongming took the diary and moved quickly in the city.

He looked calm, but he was actually very anxious.

This place wasn’t the Secret Realm. Although he didn’t know the nature of that place, he knew what it was and how it was connected to Earth.

But things were different now. He didn’t know how he got here; that sense of danger never disappeared.

He was worried that something might happen to the female guards. He was afraid this place was really far from Earth, and even if he could return, the people there would be gone. He was afraid he would be trapped here forever like that three-legged person.

The only people he could trust were Yindi’s team. Fortunately, he knew where Yindi lived. That was where the team usually gathered.

Although Ye Zhongming had never been there before, the city was very orderly, and the zones were very clear. Yindi was in the commoner region. Because Yindi’s team was strong, they lived in a bigger place that was easier to find.

But when Ye Zhongming approached, he sensed an intense atmosphere. The doors were shut, and it was as if the region had been cleared.

Ye Zhongming felt things werenʼt right, and the unease in his heart intensified.

He charged in a direction where there was noise.
The closer he got, the more his heart sank. It was the direction of Yindi’s house.

When he turned past a symbolic stone item that he was told about, he saw a house being surrounded in layers. There were people in city guard uniforms, and more of them were explorers wearing various leather armor. Some dressed in black armor were the most special. There weren’t many of them, but they were in the center. These were the leaders of this group.

This house was Yindi’s place!

Before Ye Zhongming arrived, he heard intense fighting and screaming. The people surrounded this place and didn’t move.

But even if there weren’t many that could enter the courtyard, the screams informed Ye Zhongming that they were from Yindi’s squad.

His eyes flashed red, and he flipped his wrist; two daggers appeared in them. Although he couldn’t use the wheel’s equipment and the two daggers lost their level, they were still sharp and could slice bodies.

Ye Zhongming turned into an afterimage and charged into the courtyard.

He kept calm even now and still had some hope that these people didn’t kill Yindi’s squad.

The people around couldn’t stop Ye Zhongming. He charged in before they realised there were enemies.

After getting in, the shouts from outside started ringing out.

There were ten corpses in the courtyard. Ye Zhongming glanced and couldn’t suppress his rage.

Some of them belonged to Yindi’s squad members.

Near the wall were six to seven people surrounding the injured female members Yaqin and Lanjin. They were teasing them, threatening to hit them. It was obvious that they wanted to capture them alive.

Ye Zhongming glanced at an open door. Inside were corpses wearing normal clothes: two females, one old and one young,, and three children.

If his guess was correct, these were Yindi’s family members.

These people didn’t even let family members off.

Ye Zhongming was furious. This rage was different from the hatred of people killing the innocent, and it also wasn’t the sense of justice that came about when seeing one breaking the law.

He was angry because he treated Yindi’s squad as his own. Touching them meant touching him.

Even if human life wasn’t important and the apocalypse was only killing, Cloud Peak was famous for protecting every member. Moreover, the people here had helped Ye Zhongming.

It wasn’t what they had to do. They were never Ye Zhongming’s subordinates.

Ye Zhongming was vicious but not toxic. He didn’t lose his bottom line and was grateful to Yindi and his team.

Before he even paid them back, most of them turned into corpses.

He couldn’t accept that.

The two badly injured women saw Ye Zhongming and were surprised. But they realised something and told him to leave.

Ye Zhongming didn’t listen and didn’t need to listen. He casually waved at the people who turned to attack him. In just a few steps, he sliced their throats.

This was the first time he killed in this world.

People behind finally rushed over. They saw Ye Zhongming attack, and they, too, attacked him.

Ye Zhongming stood before Yaqin and Lanjin. He waved his danger, and anyone who got close was instantly killed.

All of a sudden, over a few dozen people fell before him.

None of them were left alive.

When the people finally realised they weren’t his match and retreated, over sixty people fell. Each of them had their throats sliced, and blood flowed.

The group split and revealed a person in black armor. This person was the boss. He looked at the dead people and had a bad expression. Worry appeared in his gaze.

“We are ordered by the city committee to capture suspects. Outsider, you better know your place.”

Ye Zhongming didn’t reply and said calmly, “Who?”

Lanjin said, “The tall captain we injured has some connections with a city committee. These people are black envoys, strong explorers that the committee controls.”

Ye Zhongming nodded. He passed two potions to them, but Lanjin shook her head. Ye Zhongming looked and saw that Yaqin was badly injured and had stopped breathing when he was fighting.

He told Lanjin to drink it. He pursed his lips and suddenly moved.

As Yindiʼs squad’s only survival, this was the first time she saw Ye Zhongming attack seriously. The battle in the shop looked like a game compared to this.

She noticed that it was so easy to kill.

In a short time, he cleared the people in the courtyard. The thick blood scent reached its peak and covered everything.

The few people called black envoys were mostly killed. But one person fled under the chaos.

If he wanted to chase, he could but he didn’t. He returned to shift the corpses of Yindi’s squad back into the house. He placed them orderly and then lit the courtyard. He then brought Lanjin away.
