Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 1381: Extra limbs

The giant ape became hot-tempered. It didn’t move, but its eyes became read, and its breathing intensified.

The leading old man told everyone to back down.

Los Alamos was prepared, and they looked at the other side.

Guancheng Chun’s lab was busy.

But different from this side, what they did made everyone stunned.

They were doing a surgery.

Guancheng Chun and his subordinates pulled the mutated ape out of the cage and knocked it out. Then, using a sharp blade, he sliced two holes in the apeʼs shoulder.

Blood spurted from the holes.

This made everyone nervous.

What was he doing? The other side was strengthening the ape, but did you just give it two slashes?
But they thought back to Guancheng Chun’s reputation and looked forward to seeing what he could do.

No one was sitting anymore; they were all standing up. They stood around, curious to see what this famous lab would do.

After making two cuts, the subordinate scattered some unknown powder. People from Thousand Beast Villa confirmed that the powder was the first stake they used for this competition.

After the powder entered the wound, a few seconds passed, and the ape woke up. It felt pain and wanted to scratch the wound. But before its claws touched it, its body froze and cried in pain.

It knelt on the ground and continued to scream. It raised its head, and its veins popped out and would jump occasionally which looked frightening.

Its black body reacted as if in flames. Red spots appeared within its body, and one could clearly see them through the skin.

After which, an unbelievable thing occurred.

Things started to grow from the two wounds…

The people here were all elites, and they had good vision abilities. They could see something stretching from the wounds—they were white bones!

Even if everyone was used to killing in the apocalypse, they felt their goosebumps stand when they saw it.

Along with the bones were some flesh. There were dense threads, a mix of red and purple, which made things look gory and weird.

Many people hadn’t thought much about Guancheng Chun’s lab previously. But now, they wouldn’t underestimate him anymore. Just this alone meant that people had to respect him.

The bones and flesh grew quickly and formed a limb the size of an arm. The flesh wrapped the bone, and a brand new arm appeared. The difference was that they had no skin, and the blood vessels and flesh were exposed, which made it look vicious and terrifying.

“I am ready, too.”

The mutated ape calmed and looked lost as it tried to control its new arm. Everyone was silent so his reply could spread into everyone’s ears.

The Thousand Beast Villa member monitoring both sides asked Li Daqian for instructions. Seeing the boss nod, he told both sides to bring their experimental body to the center.

Even if the two labs modified the lifeforms, they couldn’t threaten the people present. So they didn’t need their own arena. Both sides just watched from the side, and they were even very close by.

The two mutated apes were sent to the center. A manager from Thousand Beast Villa walked to the side and, using a certain method, he slapped both of them with his shining palms. They became very irritable and stared at each other. Moments later, they charged toward each other.

The Los Alamos black ape was the first to attack. The giant fist punched toward the other ape, and it didn’t look cumbersome or slow at all.

This time, it was very powerful and the sound of wind breaking caused evolved around to open their eyes wide.

This aura was not something a level four lifeform could have.

That seemed to be the effect of the potion.

Facing that fist, the mutated ape with new arms was stunned. That fist hit its head, and its giant body flew, falling to the ground. Many cracks appeared on its skin, and it bled.

Few expected this outcome. It ended just like that? Everyone could see that the body of the four-armed ape was weak, and this often meant defeat.

The ape from the Los Alamos lab ran forwards, and its legs left a rumbling sound on the ground. It jumped and raised the toughest part of its elbow. A 20-centimeter bone spike popped out, and it was landing toward the chest of the other black ape.

Haiz!

Few wanted to continue looking. The other ape couldnʼt dodge, so the battle was going to end.

As expected, the Los Alamos ape smashed into the other. The bone spike pierced deep into the body, and blood spurted.

David watched and had a look of glee on his face. Although the powder didn’t reach its intended effect, winning a round and getting a recipe was delightful.

Li Daqian, Deacon Water and the other evolved were shocked. They might not be friends, but Guancheng Chun represented the country. Him losing meant that it was a slap to the face of the country.

“Seems like the first round has ended.” Mr Wen said with a regretful tone. On the other side, Li Daqian wanted to announce the outcome.

But the experts were very sharp. Before they said anything, they looked toward the center. The ape that had won fell to the ground and was silent.

The Thousand Beast villa member in charge was shocked, “It is dead!”

As he spoke, the ape’s body fell to the side. Only then did the others see the two new arms of Guancheng Chun’s ape had pierced into the body of the other ape. They were squirming rhythmically as if they were absorbing something. Each time, they would cause the other ape to grow slightly smaller. In a while, the other ape was just skin and bones.
