Endless Winter: My Camp Upgrades Infinitely

Chapter 1561: Chapter 490: The Meticulous Plan, Take Action (Part 2)

Speaking of this, Yang Jian paused and turned to look at the white-clothed elder on his left, the leader of the twelve Xianyang Level individuals from Chen Cang’s group, a descendant of the Yanling lineage from Chen Cang’s Landgrave Family, Chu Xuankong, of the Chu Family.

Chu Xuankong nodded and said, “I mentioned this before, four years ago, my young granddaughter accidentally entered Xia City. At that time, she used the Danqing Gu Technique to escape to a snow forest five kilometers west of the city, only to be captured by Xia Hong shortly after.”

“So…”

Yang Jian immediately continued Chu Xuankong’s words, seriously saying, “The intelligence returned by the scouts is certainly deliberately released to mislead others, false information. Great Xia’s monitoring of outsiders is by no means limited to the city. The Little Princess’s experience is enough to prove that their monitoring range can extend to five kilometers outside the city, and this is the most conservative estimate.”

The expressions of the people inside the cave darkened slightly at his words. Cai Qiu’s leader of the eleven, Bai Shui County’s adviser Zhu Yan, impatiently said, “Yang Jian, stop the nonsense and get straight to the plan!”

This group from Cai Qiu really has a terrible temper. Just a moment ago, Cai Shiqi was like this, and this Zhu Yan, despite his age, speaks the same way.

Thinking that he still had to rely on this group in front of him, Yang Jian suppressed the anger in his heart and said in a deep voice, “This place is at least forty kilometers from Xia City. We’ve been stationed here for over two months, and Xia City hasn’t reacted at all, which shows that Great Xia’s monitoring range doesn’t extend here. However, we don’t know exactly where it does reach, so whenever we move, we must be prepared for Great Xia to find out at any time.

I have already clarified the strength of Great Xia with everyone before coming. Not to mention the city’s army, there are at least twelve Beast King Level puppets conservatively estimated. Great Xia has had people breaking through to Xianyang Level repeatedly in the past two years; currently, known numbers are as high as 24. Xia Chuan, Yuwen Dao, Xiang Fuhai, and Mu Longhe are all in the cities of Jinyang and Dongchuan, so there are at least 20 Xianyang Level individuals in the city.

Among those 20 people, the strongest are Xia Hong and his wife, Li Xuanling. The last time Li Xuanling publicly took action was the year before last, killing Duan Hong at Chui Mountain, showcasing a combat strength of 19 Jun. Her strength is now at least 20 Jun, possibly even higher.

Of course, our biggest threat is still Xia Hong himself. Four years ago, he already had a strength above 22 Jun. Everyone knows about his talent; four years have passed, and I estimate his strength is at least 30 Jun, possibly even higher.”

After finishing his speech, Yang Jian saw the increasingly grave expressions on everyone’s faces, finally showing satisfaction in his eyes. After a pause, he continued, “However, we’re only here to capture someone this time. Avoiding a confrontation with Xia Hong and his wife is ideal. I’m saying this merely to make it clear to everyone that capturing someone this time won’t be so easy, and we need to be prepared with multiple plans…”

In the narrow, silent cave, Yang Jian slowly laid out the plan.

For the two months of waiting, he had evidently already considered every situation and any possible unforeseen events from all angles. So, when everyone heard this seemingly flawless plan, their eyes immediately lit up.

Even Zhu Yan and Cai Shiqi, who had spoken harshly earlier, showed a hint of satisfaction on their faces.

“Let’s do as you say, capture that little brat, and then force Xia Hong to withdraw the 60,000 Xia Army from the Northern Three Towns. As soon as he agrees, everything will go smoothly, and reversing the situation of the Nine Towns will be a piece of cake…”

Having finished his speech, Zhu Yan, standing next to Cai Shiqi, seemed already to envision the scene of capturing Xia Yusheng and forcing Xia Hong and his wife to withdraw their troops.

Forcing Great Xia to withdraw is the goal that the two vassal towns aim to achieve, while in his mind is the event from a year before last when Li Xuanling cut off his index finger in front of tens of thousands of people in Chui Mountain Town.

“Once we capture this little brat, we must make that bitch Li Xuanling kneel before me and erase the shame of the past!”

Although Yang Jian’s plan was thorough, it was not lengthy, evidently considering that Xia Yusheng’s carriage had already left the city and time was of the essence, he quickly organized everything, taking only a hundred breaths.

“Alright, that’s the plan. If anyone has anything unclear, bring it up now, and Yang will clarify one by one.”

“No need, the plan is so simple, there’s nothing unclear. Let’s start now!”

With Chu Xuankong’s opening, everyone else chimed in agreement.

Seeing this, Yang Jian nodded and said, “Good, let’s proceed as planned.”

With his words, the people inside the cave immediately divided into two large and two small groups, a total of four. The two large groups had ten people each, while the two small ones had two and one person respectively. The lone person was, of course, the leader of Chen Cang’s group, Chu Xuankong, with one person remaining in the cave.

Chu Xuankong walked to the inner side of the cave, gently pressing with his right hand on the rock wall, leaving a white light point immediately. Then he turned to the one remaining in the cave, saying, “You guard here, as soon as I succeed, you will immediately take him and flee. You can fly directly up the rock wall of Twin Dragon Mountain and send him to Beishuo Town first thing.”

“Understood!”

After giving his instructions, Chu Xuankong and the four groups left the cave, moving quickly towards the east, that is, the direction of Milk Tiger Forest, from different directions.

……

“Second Prince, that Intermediate Demon Sheep on the tree ahead, its strength should be between 1.5 and 2 Jun. It seems quite suitable for you to practice on; how about it?”
