Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1597: Chapter 598: Taking a Good Brother to the Business KTV!

”Okay.”

After finishing their meal, they left the restaurant, and then Zhang Jingdong drove his parents around the entire county town.

They didn’t get home until almost 8 PM.

Zhang Jingdong chatted with his parents in the living room for a while, then returned to his own room.

The moment he turned on the light, his eyes quickly passed over Bruce Lee, Kobe, and the five Saint Seiya brothers on the wall, then glanced at the desk he’d used for over twenty years in the previous life.

This desk wasn’t bought; rather, it was handmade by his dad.

At this moment, various textbooks and novels from high school were still scattered on the desk.

Zhang Jingdong rummaged through them and a peculiar smile appeared on his lips.

He suddenly remembered something and picked up his cellphone to text Liu Yang: Are you home? I’m back.

In less than ten seconds, Liu Yang called him.

Zhang Jingdong immediately answered: ”Hey...”

”When did you get home?”

”Got home by 4 PM, just finished eating with my parents.”

”Let’s hang out then, should we spend the night at the internet cafe?”

”Sure.”

”Great, come down now, I’ll be down soon too.”

”Okay.”

After hanging up, Zhang Jingdong quickly tidied up, informed his parents, and went downstairs.

He was just about to unlock the car and wait inside when suddenly, a tall and strong guy charged at him.

Zhang Jingdong smiled and didn’t flinch.

As the person was less than a meter away, he did a swift shoulder throw, sending him to the ground.

Liu Yang, instead of crying out in pain, was surprised: ”Wow, Jingdong, what’s up with you? It’s only been half a year, how did you get so badass!”

It’s well known that back in 2004, violence in middle and high schools in the county was pretty severe; even outside the school gate, thugs would often collect protection fees from students.

At first, Zhang Jingdong and Liu Yang were good students in junior high, but after suffering a serious bout of bullying, they decided to fight back.

They watched Bruce Lee’s tapes and trained for over a month, and after that, they were never bullied again.

Of course, during this process, they got into quite a few fights.

It was because they experienced those trials together that they became true brothers.

Whenever they met, they’d first have a spar to see if the other’s combat power had declined, and then ask if the other had been bullied and needed help with revenge.

Because Liu Yang was stronger, he would usually win in their fights.

Faced with Liu Yang’s amazement, Zhang Jingdong casually said: ”After the school started, I found out our school had a Sanda team, so I signed up.”

”Our instructor was the provincial runner-up in the Sanda competition, I learned a lot of techniques from him, naturally, my power increased significantly!”

”Wow, no wonder.”

Zhang Jingdong then extended his hand to Liu Yang.

Liu Yang laughed: ”You’re using only one hand, do you know how heavy I am now? For the past six months, I haven’t done much but eat, I’m now a full 230 pounds!”

Zhang Jingdong said with ease: ”When we practice Sanda, we also train strength, do you know how much I can bench press now? A full 150 kilograms, come on!”

”Seriously?”

”Why don’t you try and see for yourself?”

Seeing that Zhang Jingdong wasn’t joking, Liu Yang reached out his hand.

In the end, Zhang Jingdong simply pulled him up with one hand.

Liu Yang was instantly full of admiration: ”Wow, Jingdong, you’re incredible! It felt like you were pulling a baseball bat.”

Zhang Jingdong waved his hand: ”After all, I’ve been practicing for half a year, it must have had some effect.”

”That shoulder throw just now was really neat, you’ll have to teach me a few moves later.”

”No problem, absolutely!”

”Alright, let’s go!”

With that, Liu Yang turned to leave.

Zhang Jingdong said: ”Wait, let’s drive, we’ll have a proper night out.”

In his previous life, Zhang Jingdong and Liu Yang always had a particularly strong bond, more like brothers than friends.

After graduating from university, Zhang Jingdong worked in Jiangdu, while Liu Yang returned to Hong County, working as a civil servant in the county government.

Whenever something happened at Zhang Jingdong’s home, Liu Yang would always lend a hand.

There were even two times when Zhang Jingdong borrowed money from Liu Yang, and Liu Yang helped out without hesitation.

Now that Zhang Jingdong had money, he decided to let his good brother know about his financial strength right from the start, and to properly help him.

Liu Yang was instantly confused: ”Driving?”

Zhang Jingdong pointed to the Land Rover next to them: ”I drove this car back this time,”

Liu Yang turned his head to look and was completely stunned.

”Wow, a Land Rover! Jingdong, what’s going on?”

”Long story short, I did some business in Jiangdu these past six months, made some money and bought this car.”

”Business? What kind of business are you doing to make so much money?”

”I started a fashion design company.”

Liu Yang stared at his good brother, suddenly realizing he seemed like a completely different person.

Not only was there a newfound confidence in his eyes, but his clothes, demeanor, and even his looks had improved significantly.

He couldn’t help but exclaim: ”Jingdong, you’re amazing! How much did you make?”

”Not much, just over ten million.”
