Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1592: Chapter 596: An Accidental Encounter with My High School White Moonlight!

Because its license plate is from Jiangdu, and Mei River is very close to Jiangdu, the sports car clubs from both places often meet up.

She knows almost all the skilled drivers from Jiangdu, but she has never seen this Land Rover Range Rover.

At this time, Song Yunshan also curiously looked at the black Land Rover.

But she could only vaguely see that the driver in the Land Rover’s seat was a man, yet she couldn’t make out his face.

Almost an hour later, they exited the expressway and got onto the provincial road heading to Hong County.

They found out that the Land Rover also exited the expressway and was still driving alongside them.

The curiosity in Hu Ling and Song Yunshan’s hearts instantly grew stronger.

Hu Ling couldn’t help but say, ”Shanshan, is this Land Rover from your county? Have you seen it before?”

Although Song Yunshan’s family isn’t one of the ultra-rich in their county, her dad, Song Jianguo, is the director of the Bureau of Commerce in Hong County, and her mom, Lin Qiaoyun, is the deputy director of the county’s Local Tax Bureau, so most of the wealthy people in Hong County know her family.

Song Yunshan thought about it seriously, then shook her head, ”No.”

Hu Ling immediately frowned slightly, ”Could he be visiting relatives here from Jiangdu?”

After another ten minutes or so, because the road conditions on the provincial road were relatively poor, Zhang Jingdong gradually reduced the car’s speed to 80 miles per hour.

Hu Ling, who was in the lead for a while, also quietly reduced the speed to 80 miles per hour.

After seven or eight minutes, the two cars were driving side by side again.

Zhang Jingdong then rolled down the window, looked at the Audi TT opposite with a smile, and honked the horn.

Hu Ling turned her head to glance over and, upon discovering that Zhang Jingdong was not only her peer but also quite handsome, she also rolled down the window.

Zhang Jingdong said straightforwardly, ”Hey beautiful, I didn’t expect you to not only be pretty but also a top-notch driver!”

Although the content of Zhang Jingdong’s words seemed a bit teasing, because of his looks, Hu Ling didn’t find him creepy at all; instead, she found him confident and carefree.

So she said charmingly, ”Same to you. To be honest, you’re quite good-looking, and your driving skills are pretty impressive too.”

Song Yunshan was initially too shy to look at Zhang Jingdong, but because of their conversation, she couldn’t help but turn her head to look at Zhang Jingdong again.

Then she realized he was indeed very handsome, and he even seemed somewhat familiar.

Zhang Jingdong noticed this realization but deliberately pretended not to recognize Song Yunshan, not even glancing at her.

Instead, he continued to say to Hu Ling, ”Are you from Hong County too?”

Hu Ling honestly replied, ”I am from Mei River, but my sister is from Hong County.”

When Zhang Jingdong heard this, he took the opportunity to look at Song Yunshan and said, ”Why do I feel like you look a bit familiar? Are you a student from Hong County No.1 Middle School, class of 2001?”

Song Yunshan’s face was instantly filled with surprise, ”...Yes.”

Zhang Jingdong was immediately amused, ”I thought you looked familiar, what a coincidence! I’m also from the class of 2001. Which class were you in?”

Song Yunshan suddenly realized, her eyes softened considerably, ”I was in Class 1.”

”I was in Class 3. Back then, our two classrooms were right across from each other... What’s your name? Let’s see if I remember.”

Song Yunshan hesitated for a moment, then replied, ”My name is Song Yunshan.”

Zhang Jingdong pretended to be surprised, ”I do recognize that name. Didn’t you score 33rd in the grade during one of the exams in our third year?”

The reason Zhang Jingdong remembered this is because it was one of the few interactions he had with Song Yunshan.

During that exam, she scored 33rd in the grade, and he scored 32nd, and during the next exam, they sat at the desks in front of and behind each other.

Song Yunshan was completely shocked because her performance in the third year had always been very consistent, always between 30th and 40th in the grade.

So she took a serious look at Zhang Jingdong, then suddenly recalled something and said, ”That’s right... and I remember who you are?”

Zhang Jingdong was reborn, but for Song Yunshan, it had only been a year since high school, so she remembered a lot from high school.

She knew about Zhang Jingdong partly because their grades were very close in their third year, so they often took exams in the same exam room.

Another reason was that one of her good friends in class was from the same neighborhood as Zhang Jingdong, and she had mentioned him before.

”Hmm?”

Zhang Jingdong was momentarily a bit confused but quickly realized that only a year had passed for Song Yunshan since high school, so she likely remembered quite a few things from those days.

What he didn’t expect was that Song Yunshan would actually remember him.

So he said, ”Really? Go ahead, tell me.”

Song Yunshan said calmly, ”If I remember correctly, you should be Zhang Jingdong, right?”

Zhang Jingdong was immediately moved, even somewhat flattered, ”You actually do know me!”

Maybe it was the tone of Zhang Jingdong’s voice, or perhaps the intensity in his eyes at that moment, but a faint blush crept onto Song Yunshan’s face.

”Xu Nannan from our class was in your neighborhood, and during that exam she was also in the second exam room, she mentioned you to me.”

Zhang Jingdong instantly realized, ”Oh, that’s how it is, yes, we do live in the same neighborhood.”

Frankly, at that moment, Zhang Jingdong could barely remember what Xu Nannan looked like.

Hu Ling couldn’t hold back her curiosity any longer, ”Zhang Jingdong, so you’re only 19 this year? When did you learn these racing techniques?”

Zhang Jingdong instantly gave Hu Ling a thumbs up in his mind: Sister, your assist came at just the right time, thank you! But which racing technique are you asking about?

He then replied, ”I bought this car a little over three months ago, but I have always been very interested in driving, so after buying the car, I practiced a lot of racing techniques.”

As soon as he said this, Hu Ling and Song Yunshan were both taken aback!

Hu Ling was surprised that he actually said he had only practiced racing techniques for three months.

And Song Yunshan was shocked that he actually said he bought the car himself.

Because she knew that the neighborhood where Zhang Jingdong’s family lived was a miners’ housing complex on the outskirts of the county, and his parents were most likely factory workers, so they definitely couldn’t afford to buy him this Land Rover.

So... could it be that he earned the money to buy the car himself?

But isn’t that too incredible?
