Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1595: Chapter 597: Setting Up Hu Ling and Song Yunshan!

As Zhang Jingdong walked into the house, he said, ”I drove back... I’ll explain everything to you in detail later!”

Chen Huiqin was stunned again, then she noticed the bags and gift boxes in Zhang Jingdong’s hands, and she was instantly completely dumbfounded.

Because the things Zhang Jingdong was carrying were clearly not cheap.

At this moment, Zhang Jingdong’s father, Zhang Huaimin, also came out of the kitchen: ”Son, did you take a taxi home?”

Zhang Jingdong placed the items on the coffee table in the living room and said, ”Dad, Mom, why don’t you two sit down on the sofa first? I’ll tell you about everything that’s happened in the past six months.”

Chen Huiqin and Zhang Huaimin exchanged a look, both a bit puzzled, but nonetheless, they sat down on the sofa.

Now, Zhang Jingdong started to make things up—oh no, he started to tell them a story: ”Here’s the situation...”

During the next half an hour, Zhang Jingdong detailed his entrepreneurial story over the past six months to his parents.

Also, to avoid scaring his parents, he didn’t mention the entertainment company, only the clothing design company. Of course, he also left out some details, like the part about hitting on the exceptional twin sisters Lin Xiran and Lin Xirui.

Upon finishing the story, his mom and dad were unsurprisingly shocked.

There’s no helping it; parents are like this. When their children are doing just okay, they’re worried and busy trying to find connections.

But when their children excel too much, they feel proud yet extremely worried, fearing the money wasn’t earned properly.

Before, Zhang Jingdong had just finished his first year at university, and during the New Year, he showed no signs of this at all. But now, after only half a year, he had become a millionaire.

This...

At this point, Chen Huiqin and Zhang Huaimin were staring straight at their son, almost doubting if this young man before them was truly their biological son.

After a good while, Chen Huiqin finally spoke up: ”Son, you... You made over ten million just from that clothing company?”

Zhang Jingdong saw his mother was still questioning whether he had earned that money, so he picked up a bag full of cash on the table and flipped it over.

”Thud thud thud...”

In an instant, thirty stacks of hundred-yuan bills fell onto the coffee table.

Chen Huiqin and Zhang Huaimin stared at the heap of cash, and they were once again thoroughly shocked!

Though they were very surprised at Zhang Jingdong’s story, they were skeptical, so the shock wasn’t as intense. Seeing the cash, they now were completely amazed!

It’s mainly because there’s just so much money!

They’ve been working for over twenty years and have never managed to save this much, and their son just brought home this much in half a year.

It’s truly unbelievable!

At this time, Zhang Jingdong pulled out his wallet and took out a card, handing it to Chen Huiqin: ”Mom, there’s 2 million in this card, please keep it!”

Chen Huiqin paused, then waved her hand: ”No...no need, son, this money is already more than enough. You keep the card yourself, you still need it for business, and you’ll have many other expenses. Your dad and I don’t need much money.”

Zhang Jingdong patiently said, ”Mom, whether you spend it or not is another matter. I’m giving you this card to show you and Dad that our family is truly wealthy now, so you’ll never need to worry about money again. Eat what you want, buy what you want.”

As he spoke, he placed the card in his mother’s hand.

Chen Huiqin looked at the card in her hand, and instantly, she fully believed her son had indeed made a lot of money and sighed, ”Oh, Son, this... Your dad and I never imagined you’d be so successful when you’re still in college!”

”...Son, Mom is truly happy, truly relieved. My son has made something of himself!”

Zhang Jingdong smiled and said, ”Mom, Dad, I understand how you feel, rest assured. First of all, your son is doing a legitimate business; all this money is earned properly, so feel free to spend it.”

”Secondly, you’ve raised me all these years, always hoping that I would stand out, to excel. Now, your son has truly done it and brought glory to you. In the future, you won’t have to feel ashamed when you see anyone; your son is no less than any of their children!”

”Lastly, your son now has a wish: I want you to be healthy. You’ve worked hard all these years, and I want you to enjoy a peaceful life!”

Hearing this, Chen Huiqin and Zhang Huaimin’s eyes turned red.

Chen Huiqin nodded heavily, then with a slight choke, said, ”...Yes, Son, rest assured, for you, we’ll take good care of ourselves.”

At this time, Zhang Huaimin also sincerely said, ”Son, well done, Dad and Mom are proud of you!”

Zhang Jingdong felt touched by this remark.

There’s no helping it; many people strive hard, just to receive this recognition from their parents.

He was moved for a while, then felt the atmosphere at home was becoming too sentimental, so he said, ”By the way, Mom, didn’t you ask how I got back just now when I said I drove home.”

”I bought a car. Guess what car I bought?”

”What car?”

”Land Rover Range Rover.”

”Land Rover Range Rover!?” Zhang Huaimin’s face immediately lit up with admiration: ”That car costs over a million, doesn’t it?”

Zhang Jingdong nodded, then said, ”Come on, let’s go down and have a look, then I’ll drive you to Lihua Restaurant for a feast.”

Lihua Restaurant has always been the most famous and expensive restaurant in their county.

Chen Huiqin and Zhang Huaimin immediately both nodded.

But Chen Huiqin quickly thought of something and pointed at the money on the table and said in a low voice, ”But with so much money at home... we shouldn’t go out, let’s wait until tomorrow morning to go deposit this money.”

Zhang Jingdong confidently said, ”No worries, we’ll take it with us. It’s not much money anyway, don’t forget that Mom has 2 million in her card!”

Chen Huiqin hesitated for a moment, then nodded: ”...Alright.”
