Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Zhang Jingdong waved his hand at him: ”You continue, don’t mind me.”

Wang Tao immediately understood and continued, ”Based on the above, I think bidding for site 16 should be our primary goal.”

”Does anyone have any opinions... Mr. Chen?”

Chen Lu paused slightly, then said, ”I think we should still comprehensively consider which site to buy in this auction from the perspective of our company’s current development situation.”

”After all, we are a newly established real estate company. Although site 16 has a very good location, it is precisely because of its excellent location that its price is the most expensive among all the sites in this auction.”

”Moreover, as it is located in the city center, its development difficulty is also very high, and there are many uncertainties.”

”In contrast, although site 19’s location is slightly inferior to site 16, the advantages in price and development difficulty perfectly compensate for this.”

”In addition, the most crucial point is that this site is located in Nanyuan New City, which is one of the government’s key development areas for the next five years, so we will receive maximum support in terms of policy.”

At this moment, Li Wenxiu, the manager of the strategic market department, said, ”Mr. Chen, I think you are being too conservative!”

”Although we are a start-up company, don’t forget, we are a real estate company.”

”Compared to other industries, in the past five years and the next ten years, our industry is one of the most competitive.”

”This industry is very unfriendly to start-ups, simply put, any local start-up real estate company that cannot produce a real estate project that everyone in the area can name within three years of establishment will find it almost impossible to grow and expand rapidly in the future!”

”Because the real estate industry is not just about building and selling houses; sometimes a project can maximally showcase your company’s strength.”

”If you succeed, both peers and partners, and even local governments will remember your company, making it much easier to handle other projects in the future. Other companies or governments might even prioritize working with you.”

”And site 16 in this auction is exactly such a prestige project. If we can secure it and successfully develop it, our company will face a completely new situation.”

Upon hearing this, a mischievous glint flashed in Zhang Jingdong’s eyes.

This Li Wenxiu was a top strategist that Wang Tao recruited from Guangjing Real Estate Company.

Her words were indeed professional just now, but they also exposed her skepticism, or even contempt for Chen Lu.

This is quite normal because Chen Lu was parachuted into the company’s vice president position directly by Zhang Jingdong, the big boss, with an iron fist.

Moreover, although Wang Tao and Liu Zongheng dared not speak out, due to Chen Lu’s looks and figure, many in the company knew she was Zhang Jingdong’s lover.

And although Li Wenxiu’s looks and figure were slightly inferior to Chen Lu’s, she was also considered a beauty.

Most importantly, she worked her way up from a junior employee step by step and had genuine skills, so naturally, she looked down on connections like Chen Lu.

Indeed, Zhang Jingdong realized another possibility.

Li Wenxiu knew Chen Lu was his person and that he was present at the scene, yet she dared to rebut Chen Lu in front of him, showing that she had completed deep binding with Wang Tao.

She wasn’t afraid of offending him because she knew Wang Tao’s background, so she understood that as long as she stood with Wang Tao, her future would be promising.

She might even believe that Wang Tao would eventually leave the company to inherit his father’s real estate company, and by disrespecting Chen Lu in front of Zhang Jingdong now, she could accelerate this occurrence.

Wang Tao’s father’s real estate company, whether in scale or its status in Jiangdu or the entire West River real estate circle, could not be compared with Zhang Jingdong’s real estate company, and by then, Li Wenxiu would gain more benefits.

At this moment, Liu Zongheng stealthily glanced at Zhang Jingdong and said, ”I think both site 16 and site 19 have their merits, but as far as I’m aware, Hengshun Real Estate Company seems also very interested in site 16. They will probably compete with us in the bid.”

”Therefore, I think we can develop two strategies at that time: first, estimate a ceiling price for site 16, and if on the bidding day Hengshun Company or other companies compete maliciously with us, causing the price for that site to exceed our estimated price, then we temporarily give up and take site 19 instead.”

Wang Tao then said, ”Mr. Liu, you seem to still not understand, this site 16 is not a project to consider, it’s a project we must secure.”

After saying this, Wang Tao seemed to realize he was too aggressive and turned to Zhang Jingdong: ”Boss, would you like to make a decision?”

Zhang Jingdong glanced at the big screen in front and said, ”Previously, I was also struggling to decide which project to take, but now none of us need to struggle.”

”We want both sites; we will work on them simultaneously!”

As soon as he said this, everyone was shocked!

Wang Tao expressed disbelief: ”Boss, are you... are you sure?”

Zhang Jingdong calmly said, ”I came here today to announce a decision to all of you, that this Saturday we will hold the first group meeting to officially establish our Dongsheng Group.”

”So our company will no longer worry about money; then I will allocate an additional 300 million from other subsidiaries, and we will tackle both projects together!”
