Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1055: Chapter 418: With Her in the Canola Flower Field...

”Because ultimately, I’m completely a novice at shooting right now, and I have to constantly learn from you in terms of filming and topic selection, so you should never hesitate to speak up just because you’re overly concerned about my feelings.”

”I’m not that restrictive or aloof, the only thing I need to do now is to study a lot of useful stuff. Once I reach a certain level, I’ll be qualified and capable of filming what I truly want.”

Upon hearing this, Zhang Jingdong instantly reassessed Jiang Lai: ”Dear, with an attitude like yours, I have no doubt you’ll succeed in the future!”

Receiving the compliment, Jiang Lai’s face slightly reddened: ”Why don’t you teach me some video filming techniques now?”

Zhang Jingdong nodded with joy: ”Alright, given how eager you are to learn, I’ll be sure to teach you with all I’ve got!”

He then took a DV camera out of his backpack and began the lesson: ”I’ll start by teaching you how to shoot close-up shots.”

”Close-ups highlight details and enhance the impact of the image, usually by capturing facial expressions and textures up close, helping the audience focus more on what you want to convey.”

”To get a good close-up shot, there are generally three points. First, find a good subject, preferably one with distinct and intricate details, like these rapeseed flowers; they’re excellent subjects.”

”Second, control the focus to ensure the image is clear.”

”Third, learn to use lighting to enhance the quality of the close-up.”

Over the next half an hour, Zhang Jingdong earnestly and meticulously explained how to achieve these points by filming the rapeseed flowers.

Lastly, Zhang Jingdong let Jiang Lai shoot some close-up shots herself.

Once he was sure she had fully grasped this point, he said, ”Now I’ll teach you the second filming technique, called time-lapse.”

”Though this involves shooting skills, the final effect relies heavily on editing.”

”This technique generally involves quickly switching the same scene at different times to create the effect of time passing, often used to show plant growth and environmental changes, so you’ll definitely use it in the future.”

”There are three simple points to this technique. First, fix the camera position; secondly, shoot the same scene at different times, ensuring consistency in lighting, composition, and other conditions.”

”Finally, during the editing stage, quickly switch frames from different times and appropriately speed up the playback.”

Over the next hour, Zhang Jingdong also taught Jiang Lai other filming techniques like slow-motion and backlighting.

By noon, they went home for lunch together.

Less than two o’clock, they returned to the rapeseed field to continue the lesson.

By five in the afternoon, Jiang Lai had essentially mastered all common video filming techniques.

At this point, Zhang Jingdong suggested: ”To test your current filming level, let’s collaborate on shooting a small... oh no, a microfilm, how about it?”

Jiang Lai, like a sect disciple eager to showcase acquired skills, responded with glee: ”Great, what are we filming?”

Feigning thought, Zhang Jingdong replied: ”Let’s call this microfilm ’Love in the Rapeseed Field’.”

Jiang Lai vaguely guessed his intentions, a subtle blush appearing on her face but she said nothing.

Seeing no objections from her, Zhang Jingdong continued: ”The film comprises a few shots, first is my monologue in the rapeseed field, you shoot me, starting with a long shot, then a close-up, followed by some shoulder shots randomly.”

”My lines generally express a rural boy’s deep longing for an unforgettable love, hoping the heavens might bestow him a perfect girl.”

”Then it’s your monologue, which I’ll shoot, and you can improvise your lines. Generally, they talk about your dream last night, where you fell for a boy and ended up with him, finally turning around to discover the boy from your dream appeared!”

”The final shot features us lovingly embracing in this rapeseed field... Understand?”

Jiang Lai, both shy and delighted, nodded: ”Yes, I understand.”

Zhang Jingdong stifled a laugh: ”Alright, let’s officially start filming, you shoot me first, I’ll give you a demonstration!”

Jiang Lai promptly picked up the DV camera, quickly prepared, and aimed it at Zhang Jingdong.

With immediate focus, Zhang Jingdong channeled his inner Liang Chaowei, delivering Wong Kar-wai style lines deeply and melancholily: ”Not sure when it started, maybe on some day last August, I come here for a walk in the rapeseed field every evening...”

Jiang Lai, watching the screen, and hearing his voice, initially surprised, quickly became completely captivated!

No wonder, at this moment, Zhang Jingdong, whether in close-up or long shot, his lines or shoulder view, was even more handsome and charismatic than Liang Chaowei!

For the first time, Jiang Lai felt an almost worshipful admiration for Zhang Jingdong.

Zhang Jingdong performed for a full five minutes before ending the act.

He stood up, knowingly asked: ”How do you think I performed just now?”

Jiang Lai praised spontaneously: ”No exaggeration, I think if you didn’t do business, you could completely act, in no more than three years, perhaps even Liang Chaowei won’t be your match!”

Zhang Jingdong smiled and nodded: ”You truly are my girlfriend, your compliments touch my heart. Alright, it’s your turn!”

Taking the DV, he pointed the camera at Jiang Lai.

Facing the camera for the first time, Jiang Lai’s eyes showed clear nervousness.

Quickly instructing her, Zhang Jingdong said: ”Don’t think about how to act, just maintain the vibe from our chat.”

Jiang Lai swiftly reflected, then nodded: ”Okay.”

In the following three-plus minutes, Jiang Lai improvised, her performance average, yet noticeably increasing her camera rapport.

Then the two shot the scene of discovering and confirming they were the ones for each other.

This time Zhang Jingdong lifted a simple tripod from the bag, positioned the DV, and extended his hand to Jiang Lai: ”Come, now it’s our loving embrace scene!”

Jiang Lai bit her lip, then shyly and hopefully held his hand.

Zhang Jingdong led her to the best spot in the rapeseed field, first they exchanged a classic movie gaze, then tightly embraced her and began kissing.

Gradually, the film’s atmosphere moved unknowingly towards ’Hidden Ambush’...
