Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1006: Chapter 402: A Special Date with Zhang Yuqi!

Moreover, during the time after graduation, she has come to deeply understand a cruel reality: if she wants to make a living in the art circle in the future, she must be able to put it all on the line.

Previously, she wanted to enter the drama troupe that was affiliated with the academy. But even though the job only paid a little over a thousand yuan a month, to get in, she still had to be ”that” by the vice captain.

And now, the conditions offered by Zhang Jingdong’s company are that once signed, the monthly salary will not be less than 3000 yuan, and if the number of fans exceeds a certain limit in the future, there will be additional rewards.

Most importantly, after learning about the website of Zhang Jingdong’s company, she feels this job has great prospects.

So to get this job, she is willing to pay any price.

No lie, at the moment she’s even secretly decided that if Zhang Jingdong really asks her to meet today and agrees to sign her, she is willing to ”that” with him today.

Tang Lin saw Zhang Yuqi was clearly moved by her words just now, and then she said, ”Qiqi, let’s hurry up and set off, otherwise we will be really late, and by then we’ll have to buy our own train tickets back to Shanghai.”

Zhang Yuqi bit her lip and sighed deeply: ”...Alright, we...”

As soon as she said this, her phone in her pocket suddenly rang.

Her heart skipped a beat, and she quickly took out her phone to take a look.

It was Zhang Jingdong!

Her face instantly showed some joy, but now she knows she can’t be too happy too soon, because she still doesn’t know what Zhang Jingdong’s call means.

So she forcibly suppressed her inner expectations and excitement, cautiously answering the phone: ”Hello, Mr. Zhang...”

Tang Lin on the bed saw that Zhang Jingdong actually called her, and her eyes instantly filled with resentment and jealousy.

Zhang Jingdong deliberately said, ”You won’t still be in bed now, would you?”

Zhang Yuqi’s mouth instantly curved into a nice arc: ”It’s almost 10 o’clock now, alright, I got up a little after 8.”

”Then why didn’t you text me? I thought you, this big beauty, had to sleep for beauty. Alright then, where are you now? I’ll pick you up.”

Zhang Yuqi was completely relieved now: ”I’m at the Home Inn on Jiangbei Road.”

”Okay, I’m quite close to you, about 20 minutes away. You get ready to come downstairs shortly.”

”Okay, see you in a bit.”

After hanging up the phone, Zhang Yuqi couldn’t hide her excited smile.

She quickly thought for a moment, then turned to Tang Lin and said, ”Linlin, I’m not going back today. You go ahead, be safe on the road.”

Tang Lin, although having anticipated this result, still tried, ”Qiqi, are you...are you sure? You’re unfamiliar with the place here, are you really daring to go meet him?”

Zhang Yuqi’s eyes had a hint of peculiar gleam: ”I want to take a gamble! Besides...I have no retreat now!”

”But...after we go back this time, you still have a chance to enter the drama troupe, and if you delay here, you might lose this chance. So make sure you weigh the pros and cons, don’t pick up sesame and lose watermelon.”

Zhang Yuqi finally showed her resolute side and said, ”Honestly, today I don’t know what kind of outcome I’ll get from seeing him.”

”But what I can determine now is, going to the drama troupe is not my best choice, because I don’t like that kind of...that kind of lifestyle where you have to take trains to perform in different places.”

”Really, I...I feel that lifestyle very insecure, because I still need to support my mom. The drama troupe’s monthly salary is simply not enough for us to live in Shanghai.”

Tang Lin realized Zhang Yuqi had made up her mind, and perhaps because of her last sentence, Tang Lin felt less jealous and more understanding towards her.

”Alright then, you...you take care, call me anytime if there’s anything.”

Zhang Yuqi felt warmth in her heart and came to the bedside.

”Linlin, no matter what, it’s because of you that I got this opportunity. In the future, if I do achieve anything, I won’t forget your kindness!”

The two chatted a bit more, Zhang Yuqi glanced at the time and then put on her prettiest dress and went downstairs.

She waited by the roadside for about 5 minutes, and then saw a Mercedes business car slowly stop near her.

She was slightly startled, then saw the car door open, and Zhang Jingdong stepped out.

At this moment, Zhang Yuqi was thoroughly impressed by Zhang Jingdong!

Firstly, the car looked very expensive and very beautiful.

Most importantly, he was sitting in the back seat with a driver in the front.

Hmm?

And even the driver was beautiful!

Secondly, Zhang Jingdong’s attire today was also particularly impressive, although it was just casual wear, it was certainly designer, which he wore with a genuine aristocratic flair.

Add in his face, almost as handsome as a star’s, and his confident expression that seemed to rule the world, at this moment Zhang Yuqi felt Zhang Jingdong completely embodied the image of a white horse prince!

Zhang Jingdong naturally noticed her unusual look, and to be honest, Zhang Yuqi’s outfit today had also amazed him!

Even though it was just a simple black floral long dress, it was slightly low-cut.

Just this alone brought out the inherent sensuality in her.

Moreover, her makeup today was obviously more refined than yesterday, already showing the initial signs of the distinctive allure she would become known for in the future.
