Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Then Zhang Jingdong taught Lin Ruotang Tai Chi for a good hour.

Around 8:30, as if they remembered that He Jieyu should get up, they both stopped simultaneously.

Zhang Jingdong said, ”I’ll go see if Jieyu is awake.”

Lin Ruotang nodded, ”Alright, I’ll ask the auntie to prepare breakfast.”

Zhang Jingdong turned to leave, but suddenly remembered something, turned back, and said, ”Sister Tang, could you call me ’master’ one more time? I didn’t hear it enough before.”

Lin Ruotang was slightly taken aback, clearly not expecting him to pull such a trick, and her face turned red with embarrassment.

A bit annoyed, she said, ”You... the lesson is over now, we should go back to normal titles, you can’t be so presumptuous!”

Zhang Jingdong pouted, ”Sister Tang, respecting one’s master and valuing the teachings is important, it’s better to overdo it than not have a good attitude. Sister Tang, I can let you not be so respectful usually, but you should take the initiative sometimes.”

”Otherwise, after putting so much effort into teaching you, I’ll feel a bit shortchanged!”

”You actually feel shortchanged!” Lin Ruotang exclaimed teasingly, ”You slept at my house... shared a room with my daughter, and you still have the nerve to feel shortchanged?”

”Other men, if not completely respectful, at least try to flatter their girlfriend’s mother. You’ve only taught me a little skill, and you dare to say this, aren’t you embarrassed?”

Zhang Jingdong sighed, ”But what I taught you is the secret skill of our sect that extends life, and I forgot to mention it’s usually passed down to males only.”

”For you, I easily broke our sect’s ancestral rule, which is much more impressive than being just respectful!”

At this point, Zhang Jingdong noticed a hint of confusion in Lin Ruotang’s eyes, and continued, ”Ugh, now I understand why things shouldn’t be given away for free, why skills shouldn’t be taught for free.”

”When you give away something for free, people think it’s not that precious.”

”Oh well, because you’re my girlfriend’s mom, I can’t be petty with you.”

After saying this, he turned to leave.

”Wait a minute!”

Zhang Jingdong’s heart skipped a beat, then he suppressed a laugh and turned back slowly, ”What is it?”

Lin Ruotang pursed her lips, ”Alright, since you taught me for such a long time and you did a good job, I... I can call you that one more time.”

Zhang Jingdong was instantly delighted, then beckoned with his hand, ”I knew you were someone who respects the master and values the teachings, someone with wisdom... go ahead.”

Lin Ruotang cast a sideways glance at him, then called out a bit embarrassedly, ”...Master.”

Zhang Jingdong instantly made an exaggerated limp gesture, ”Aye!”

Then he walked away with a contented look.

Lin Ruotang watched his receding figure, shaking her head with a complex expression.

This guy is simply...

She couldn’t think of an appropriate adjective after a long thought and left the living room with a flushed face.

When Zhang Jingdong returned to the room, He Jieyu had just woken up.

”Where did you go? When did you get up?”

Zhang Jingdong shook his arms, ”I woke up past 6, just went to the living room for some morning exercise.”

At this moment, He Jieyu stretched exaggeratedly.

Her slender arms and a part of her leg emerged from the quilt.

Having practiced for a while and experienced some back-and-forth with Lin Ruotang, a top-notch lady, Zhang Jingdong’s teaching enthusiasm was instantly reignited by this sight.

He Jieyu noticed Zhang Jingdong’s unusual look, instead of holding back, she cheekily shook her beautiful leg, her face bearing an expression inviting his attention.

Zhang Jingdong’s mouth quickly curled into a mischievous smile, ”You can’t be so lazy, you have to exercise every morning to stay healthy!”

He Jieyu licked her lips, ”But what if I never learned morning exercise?”

”In that case, let me teach you a very practical morning exercise method.”

Saying so, he approached the bedside...

More than half an hour later, the auntie downstairs had finished preparing breakfast.

Lin Ruotang noticed Zhang Jingdong and He Jieyu weren’t coming down and was about to ask the auntie to call them from upstairs but suddenly recalled something and headed upstairs herself.

When she got near He Jieyu’s room, she indeed heard He Jieyu’s reading aloud once again.

She blushed anew.

How could young people be so indulgent these days?

But Zhang Jingdong really wasn’t bluffing, his antics were indeed over the top!

She waited for about ten minutes, eventually losing patience and walked forward, saying through the door, ”Finish up and come down for breakfast soon!”

He Jieyu quickly took a deep breath and replied, ”Mom, we know, we’ll come down soon!”

Lin Ruotang turned to walk away, yet for some reason, rather than heading downstairs, she went back to her room.

Another ten minutes passed when the sound of He Jieyu’s reading from next door gradually faded, then she quietly left her room and went downstairs.

Not long after, Zhang Jingdong and He Jieyu came downstairs hand in hand, heading to the dining room.

He Jieyu waved at Lin Ruotang with a flushed face, ”Mom, morning!”

At this moment, Lin Ruotang also had the hint of a blush on her face, though she tried to keep composed, ”Getting up so late, you’ll definitely be late for work again today!”

He Jieyu glanced at Zhang Jingdong, ”Never mind, Mr. Yan has no time to bother with me today. She and our Boss Zhang have urgent matters to discuss, right, Boss Zhang?”

Upon hearing this, Lin Ruotang immediately looked toward Zhang Jingdong.

Zhang Jingdong, with his thick skin, said earnestly, ”Yes, I’m planning to set up a conglomerate, but I have no experience in this field, so I plan to learn from Mr. Yan.”
