Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Zhang Jingdong chuckled inwardly, yet intentionally showed some fear on his face, saying, ”What are you doing? Hurry up, I’d rather die early and reincarnate sooner!”

Lin Qingci hesitated a bit before walking over to the pool table.

Seeing Zhang Jingdong’s rare display of fear, she couldn’t help but feel mixed emotions: ”I’ll ask you one more time, are you... are you sure you want to accept this punishment?”

Zhang Jingdong immediately acted like an award-winning actor: ”Although this punishment is very hard for a man to accept, sticking to a bet is the principle I’ll uphold throughout my life.”

”Bring it on!”

Lin Qingci picked up the cue again and brought the cue ball and the 1-ball closer.

”I’ll ask you one last time, are you sure?”

Zhang Jingdong sighed and said, ”I’m sure, but Lin Qingci, you should think it over. Your future happiness might be... Ouch...”

Before Zhang Jingdong could finish his words, Lin Qingci suddenly striked.

The 1-ball, after being forcefully hit by the cue ball, rapidly moved towards Zhang Jingdong.

Hit by the ball, Zhang Jingdong instantly pretended to be in great pain and wailed on the pool table, like a pig being slaughtered.

Seeing this, Lin Qingci couldn’t help but laugh while also feeling concerned.

She approached, carefully observed Zhang Jingdong’s expression, and then said, ”Hey, stop acting, okay? I didn’t use full force just now, and even hit a bit off-center. You can’t be in this much pain!”

Zhang Jingdong groaned, ”But do you know how fragile that part is for us? Not to mention being hit by a pool ball, even when I jog, I’m cautious not to take too large steps for fear of injury.”

”... Oh dear, I’m sure it’s injured this time. It seems tonight’s plan to steal away treasures is unachievable!”

”I don’t care, if He Jieyu asks why I can’t teach anymore, I’ll say it’s because you hurt me.”

Lin Qingci was instantly anxious upon hearing this: ”Hey, are you being reasonable? You were the one who proposed the bet and the punishment. Now you’re blaming me?”

”I proposed it, but I never thought you would actually dare use full force, dare to really hurt me!”

Lin Qingci was infuriated and worried: ”... Alright, let’s quickly go to the hospital and let the doctor have a good look at you.”

But Zhang Jingdong simply waved his hand: ”I can’t move now. What if I get injured again on the way to the hospital? Then I’m really done for!”

”This... What should we do?”

Seeing Zhang Jingdong still in apparent pain, Lin Qingci’s doubts turned entirely into concern.

”How about this, I’ll go downstairs and call someone to take care of you, then I’ll get a doctor from the hospital to come over and examine you here?”

Zhang Jingdong waved his hand again: ”Forget it, that would make the whole bar know. I’m still the boss here; it would be so embarrassing then!”

”You can’t delay your treatment because you’re afraid of embarrassment! You said yourself you’re truly injured, and that place is very important to you.”

”Alright, just wait here, I’ll hurry...”

Seeing she really intended to leave, Zhang Jingdong hurriedly said: ”It’s really not necessary... I actually know a way to treat this!”

”Hmm?” Lin Qingci paused instantly, turned back, her face full of curiosity: ”What way?”

Zhang Jingdong said seriously, ”Actually, I’ve just been numbed by the hit. Have you ever cracked a raw egg?”

Lin Qingci looked a bit surprised, then nodded shyly: ”I have.”

”When an egg gets hit hard, its yolk shifts, and to restore it, the best way is to gently shake it until the yolk returns to its original position.”

”What do you mean?”

Zhang Jingdong hinted, ”Actually, I don’t need a doctor; you can help me recover.”

”Me?” Lin Qingci was a bit stunned: ”How... how can I help you recover?”

Zhang Jingdong couldn’t help but let a sly grin slip: ”Just help me out by evenly shaking it for a while.”

Lin Qingci instantly realized, instinctively shook her head: ”This... this won’t work, will it? I...”

”Why wouldn’t it work?” Zhang Jingdong continued his pretend pain: ”I’m your guy, and I got such a serious injury because of you. Aren’t you even willing to help with this?”

”I...”

Lin Qingci hesitated for a moment and then said, ”But... I really didn’t apply that much force just now; you... you were faking it, weren’t you?”

”Stop joking around; I can’t take such playful teasing!”

Zhang Jingdong initially intended to tease her a bit, but because her appearance at the moment was too adorable, he couldn’t resist continuing.

”You indeed didn’t use much force, but it’s a pool ball, after all, so hard, and it moved so quickly just now. And that place is the most fragile part of my body; even the slightest impact could cause some damage.”

Seeing the doubt in Lin Qingci’s eyes, Zhang Jingdong knew she was almost convinced, and continued, ”And have you forgotten I massaged you before in your office?”

”I treated you like that back then; now you can use this opportunity to give me a taste of my own medicine.”

”But... I don’t have that intention.”

Noticing her continued refusal, Zhang Jingdong decided to play his trump card: ”Alright, since you’re still unwilling, I’ll just have to tell He Jieyu tonight that I can’t meet her.”

”You...”

Lin Qingci was instantly hit on her weakness again; she truly feared He Jieyu would find out about her and Zhang Jingdong.

Moreover, as Zhang Jingdong mentioned, she had tolerated being treated like that by him before. Now, this... seemed not entirely unacceptable.
