Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

”But I don’t mind because I really like him. He treats me very well, so I’m willing to accept everything about him.”

Lin Ruotang was completely stunned!

She originally thought Zhang Jingdong was just Yan Ning and Qin Yu’s man, maybe with one or two other women.

But she didn’t expect him to have so many women, including Ye Jinyan, Shu Ran, Xiao Fei, and Su Man, all of whom she knew. She knew they were all top-notch women in terms of career, talent, and appearance.

Especially since Ye Jinyan is the eldest daughter of the Ye family, with a high possibility of inheriting the family business in the future.

At this moment, she didn’t even know how to advise He Jieyu!

Because although she knew Zhang Jingdong was a philanderer, she also understood deeply how outstanding he must be to gain the favor of these top-tier women.

She was stunned for a full half-minute before finally composing herself and saying, ”But Jieyu... although he is outstanding, he is way too unfaithful. He fundamentally can’t take care of you for a lifetime. How can Mom feel confident handing you over to a man like him?”

He Jieyu seemed to have anticipated Lin Ruotang would say this, and immediately replied, ”Mom, Jingdong indeed is unfaithful, but you also told me before that there is no man in this world that can be relied on, especially when we women are both outstanding and wealthy ourselves.”

”So rather than seeking those honest men for temporary stability, it’s better to start by finding a man as strong as Jingdong.”

”That way, our relationship is not only pure, but there is also genuine mutual admiration between us.”

”Moreover, since I’m usually very busy and can only date with my spare time, I won’t be internally drained because Jingdong can’t devote all his attention to me.”

”In short, I feel Jingdong is very suitable for me in every aspect, Mom, you really don’t need to worry about me.”

”But... what will you do when you are old? Will he take care of you for a lifetime?”

Zhang Jingdong then said, ”President Lin, please rest assured. I can promise you now that I will take care of Jieyu for a lifetime!”

Lin Ruotang solemnly said, ”Can I trust you? Jieyu is now 20 years old, young and beautiful. Of course, you dare say this now!”

”But when Jieyu reaches my age one day, with your nature, you will surely turn to those other 20-something-year-old young girls. How will you have time to take care of my daughter then?”

Zhang Jingdong naturally replied, ”President Lin, I’m not lying. Just by looking at you now, I can guarantee that even when Jieyu is 80 years old, I will still love her like I do now.”

”When she’s young, I like her for her youthful beauty; when she’s old, I like her for her rich life experiences!”

”Sitting by the fire, flipping through old pictures, reminiscing our beautiful youth together—just the thought of that makes one long for it!”

Lin Ruotang secretly gave Zhang Jingdong extra points upon hearing the first line, mainly because this guy was so adept at implicitly complimenting people.

Although he was unfaithful, with such strength and charm, he was a rare find.

And after hearing the latter two sentences, although she still somewhat doubted his words, she was slightly reassured.

At the very least, this guy’s attitude was decent.

Yet she remained cool outwardly, casting a cold glance at Zhang Jingdong before turning her gaze back to He Jieyu.

He Jieyu understood that no matter how much Zhang Jingdong promised to take care of her or how she tried to speak for Zhang Jingdong, her mother would never believe him.

So she quickly thought it over, and suddenly inspiration struck her, ”Mom, actually I’ve thought about it. When we women grow old, we can’t rely on their men at all.”

”So I plan to have a child with Jingdong, preferably a daughter, and nurture her well so that she grows up to be smart and filial like me. This way, I will have support in old age!”

”Moreover, with my good conditions and Jingdong’s unbeatable conditions, the child we have together will surely be excellent in every aspect, able to take care of me and you in the future!”

Although He Jieyu’s idea seemed bold, it coincided with Lin Ruotang’s thoughts.

Because to Lin Ruotang, only children could be her true support.

After all, over the years, apart from tonight’s incident, He Jieyu had never disappointed her in any aspect.

So at this moment, Lin Ruotang was secretly reassured, yet verbally she said, ”Really... having a daughter, what’s the use of that? Isn’t it just bringing trouble home?”

”At least have both a boy and a girl, then you’ll have more comprehensive security!”

He Jieyu was first stunned, then suddenly realized her mother had forgiven her, and instantly her face lit up with joy, ”Mom, I just knew you would understand me, love you to bits!”

She said as she moved forward to give Lin Ruotang a hearty kiss.

Lin Ruotang glared at her, ”What else can I do? You’ve already cooked the rice. I can’t just tear you apart, or you’d hate me for life!”

He Jieyu immediately blushed with joy, ”Thank you, Mom!”

Lin Ruotang then looked at Zhang Jingdong again, ”I have only one thing to say to you: in the future, you can openly come to the house, but you must treat our Jieyu well. If one day she sheds tears because of you, no matter how strong you are, I will not let you off!”

Zhang Jingdong immediately said, ”Rest assured, Mom, if ever a day comes when Jieyu cries because of me, I won’t need you to, I will take care of myself!”

Lin Ruotang nodded with satisfaction at first, then suddenly reacted, glaring at Zhang Jingdong, ”Really... who’s your mom, huh?”
