Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 955: Chapter 385: Took the Two of Them to the Lounge...

Guan Le’s face turned completely red with embarrassment: ”...No! I...I’m not ready yet!”

”And... I haven’t fully accepted him in my heart.”

”If you really want to attend his class, I’ll go home now, then you two... just go ahead.”

Ye Jinyan had no choice but to wave her hand again: ”Alright, alright... never mind, never mind, we’ll fully respect your opinion, let’s not talk about this anymore, okay?”

Just then, there was a knock on the door from outside.

Ye Jinyan casually said, ”Come in!”

Soon the door was pushed open, and they saw Zhao Qing walking in with a teapot and tea set.

Zhao Qing noticed the unusual atmosphere among the three, so after setting everything down, he chatted briefly and then turned to leave.

Ye Jinyan poured three cups of tea, handed them to Zhang Jingdong and Guan Le, and then picked up one herself.

She took a couple of sips, then blinked her beautiful eyes: ”Boss Zhang, you claim to know everything. Do you know how to play Go?”

Zhang Jingdong nodded directly: ”Of course I do. Back in high school, most of my living expenses came from winning Go games.”

”Whether it was students or teachers, they all fell at my hands. One of the teachers was even from our provincial Go association. We played about ten games within a month, and he didn’t win a single one.”

”Is that so...” Ye Jinyan glanced at Guan Le, then said, ”Since you’re so impressive, why don’t you play a game with me?”

”If I win, you can’t leave tonight.”

”If you win, then... then I’ll agree to one of your requests. How about it? Do you dare?”

Zhang Jingdong chuckled and said, ”Of course, let’s do it.”

Ye Jinyan immediately got up to find a Go board, placed it on the table, and then Zhang Jingdong and Guan Le joined her at the table.

After taking their seats, a thought came to Zhang Jingdong: ”I want to draw a prize!”

”The Host has accumulated 120 points of goodwill from the target individual, meeting the conditions for a draw. Would you like to proceed?”

”Yes.”

”The draw begins...”

”Prize one: Gu Li’s Go playing ability.”

”Prize two: Lee Chang-ho’s Go playing ability.”

”Prize three: Wu Qingyuan’s Go playing ability.”

Zhang Jingdong knew Wu Qingyuan was a Go master, but for a quick win, he felt Gu Li’s skills would suffice, so he said, ”I choose prize one!”

”The prize has been redeemed, the Host has three more draw opportunities, do you wish to continue?”

”No.”

Zhang Jingdong then reached out and said, ”Let’s follow the rules, you take black, you go first.”

Ye Jinyan silently let out a sigh of relief and then placed a stone in the corner.

In the following ten minutes or so, they played over 60 moves.

Zhang Jingdong used only 50% of his ability so as not to scare Ye Jinyan.

But even so, Ye Jinyan was astounded.

Because when she was a child, she had studied with some of the top Go experts in the country for three or four years, having a very solid foundation; many at the Zhejiang Province Go Institute were not her match.

She had intended to use this unexpected method to keep Zhang Jingdong here, but she didn’t expect his Go skills to match hers completely!

She even felt that at his level, he could hold his own even against professional players from the provincial Go academy, as she frequently played against them.

While playing with them, she never felt such pressure, though those players might have given her some leeway due to her identity. But even then, in her view, Zhang Jingdong definitely possessed the level of the provincial Go academy.

This was simply unbelievable!

Because she had specifically studied Go, she knew the talent and effort required to reach Zhang Jingdong’s level, and to think he could play Go like this while also excelling in so many other skills, he was undoubtedly a genius!

Beside her, Guan Le was also dazzled by Zhang Jingdong’s Go skills!

Compared to Ye Jinyan learning from professional players for several years as a child, Guan Le had learned from her grandfather, the head of the provincial Go academy, during his spare time for many years.

And when she played against Ye Jinyan, she won more than she lost, so she could better appreciate Zhang Jingdong’s Go skills.

She could even tell that Zhang Jingdong was using at most 70% of his power.

She secretly felt an urge to play a game with him too, having rarely met such a true expert!

But she quickly thought of something else, which was that Ye Jinyan had made a bet with Zhang Jingdong during their game.

From the severity of the forfeit, where Ye Jinyan said Zhang Jingdong couldn’t leave if he lost, it was likely that he would impose a similarly significant penalty on Ye Jinyan, perhaps even a rather personal request.

Then, she immediately considered that if she proposed a game with him, she would have to make a bet, and knowing his personality, he would definitely make a very demanding request. What if he also wanted her to...

Thinking of this, she instantly fell into a deep dilemma.

Another ten minutes passed, and Ye Jinyan and Zhang Jingdong had reached move 148.

During this time, Zhang Jingdong wanted to save time and also impress the two beauties a little, so he quietly used 70% of his strength.

Finally, Ye Jinyan couldn’t hold out any longer, as being under constant restraint was just too uncomfortable.

So she glanced dejectedly at Guan Le, then put the stone she had just picked up back into the Go box.
