I Am Scouted by Real Madrid

Chapter 596: Chapter 53: Messi for Villa, Villa for Messi?

Camp Nou

Fans around the world didn’t expect Villa to pass the ball back like before.

Even Ramos nearby merely went through the motions of pressing, knowing that blind pressing against Barcelona’s precision passing would futilely drain his energy.

Villa, after receiving the ball, seemed to have eyes in the back of his head, turning directly to choose a forceful breakthrough, slipping past Ramos.

In an instant, exclamations echoed throughout Camp Nou.

Barcelona fans were excited, while Real Madrid fans were tense.

”Villa takes the ball and turns.”

”Decides on a forceful breakthrough.”

”Ramos is shaken.”

Ramos is shaken, not fallen.

The Spain National Team player tried hard to steady his balance, interfering with Villa from the side. Real Madrid’s defense was thrown into chaos by Villa’s strong advance.

Villa realized it was hard to shake off Ramos, and with more Real Madrid players supporting nearby.

He didn’t delay further but opted for a cross.

Casillas didn’t wait passively at the goal but chose to charge out, attempting to catch the ball, yet Villa’s pass had an arc and spin.

Casillas could only barely punch the ball away.

This scene left Real Madrid’s defense off guard.

Pepe and Cavaleiro both thought Casillas could catch the ball, even Mourinho on the sidelines thought so too. Who would have thought Casillas couldn’t hold onto it?

”Villa crosses.”

”Fast and urgent!”

”Casillas charges out from the goal.”

”Didn’t catch it.”

”Punched the ball away to the side.”

”Marcelo.”

The ball headed to the side, all players’ eyes turned towards it, Marcelo was the nearest Real Madrid player, he quickly moved forward to gain control.

Hurrying from afar was Chen Zhong, urgently shouting, ”Marcelo!!!!!!!”

Marcelo’s view seemed safe, but Chen Zhong’s call wasn’t unfounded, however, before he could react, a red and blue Barcelona player burst in from the side.

The short figure.

The number 17 on the back!

It was Pedro!

Pedro reached the ball before Marcelo.

He had no intention of stopping or controlling the ball, he simply tipped it with his toe.

Casillas, both hands and feet, awkwardly moved sideways, reaching out his palm to try and block the ball from the goal.

But ultimately was a step too slow.

The ball collided with the net, Barcelona scored, equalizing the score!

”The ball is in!”

”The ball is in again!”

”The match is not even 20 minutes in.”

”And already six goals have been scored between the teams!”

”Villa’s strong breakthrough past Ramos at the flank followed by the cross.”

”Casillas charging out couldn’t control the ball.”

”Pedro rushes in from behind, shooting before Marcelo.”

”The ball evades Casillas’ save, accurately rolls into the net.”

”3:3”

”Both teams are back at the starting line.”

”Barcelona has equalized the score.”

Barcelona fans in the stands cheered loudly, their enthusiasm seemed to make Camp Nou tremble, while Real Madrid fans looked incredulous, clearly not expecting the team to concede in such a way.

Globally, many fans watching today, or pulled into watching the national derby by friends, couldn’t believe it and said, ”Isn’t it said that scoring in football is hard?”

”It’s not even 20 minutes yet! 6 goals.”

”Are these two teams certainly the best in the world right now, right?”

In less than 20 minutes, with 6 goals scored, it’s not because Real Madrid or Barcelona have poor defense, but now La Liga is undeniably the top league globally, and these two teams have the fewest goals conceded in the league.

No team in the world can say they could score 3 goals against these two teams within 20 minutes.

But why did this scene occur?

Looking at the line-ups of these two teams makes it clear. Real Madrid and Barcelona currently possess some of the best attacking forces in the world.

They’ve almost monopolized the Ballon d’Or winners in recent years.

Real Madrid’s squad is not just new World Cup champions, but includes Ballon d’Or winners and nominees, or scorching football talents.

Their attacking trio, Chen Zhong, Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo, are each capable of being main offensive players in other teams.

And for Barcelona, no need to mention, a large part of their squad are World Cup champions, with Xavi and Iniesta hot candidates for the Ballon d’Or, Messi often hailed as a rare genius, having a stellar season.

Facing the ”firepower” of both teams, no team globally dares claim they won’t concede.

Especially with both teams proving their excellent form in recent games with substantial victories, only prayers remain to avoid encountering these teams.

Guardiola smiled after his team equalized the score, while Mourinho pursed his lips in silence, able to anticipate most events on the pitch and prepare against them.
