I Am Scouted by Real Madrid

Chapter 554: Chapter 32: Unparalleled Beauty (Part 2)

His eyes scanned the team’s bench back and forth, finally settling on Diego Costa.

Diego Costa, who joined Atletico Madrid in 2007, was later loaned out to develop and gradually showed his potential.

Compared to Aguero and Fernando in the team.

To some extent, Diego Simeone prefers Diego Costa a bit more.

Because this guy looks fierce, and his body is very strong. He has some little moves in training and matches that align perfectly with Diego Simeone’s intentions.

He’s crude, he’s wild.

But this is precisely what Diego Simeone needs.

With tousled hair, messy beard, and eyes showing a hint of ferocity when Diego Simeone looks at him.

This beast with a ”magnificent beauty,” his eyes emit a beam of desire.

He yearns for ”merit,” longing to make a name for himself in the football world, and the stepping stone he wants to tread on is the Ballon d’Or favorite, Chen Zhong!

Compared to Diego Simeone, Mourinho seemed much more relaxed on the sideline.

He even had the mood to interact with the Real Madrid fans on the sidelines, and the Real Madrid fans began to sing loudly, expressing their joy.

”The game has reached the 37th minute.”

”Real Madrid’s offensive is quite fierce.”

”They’ve had three rather threatening shots.”

”But De Gea kept the goal intact.”

Negredo’s header, Kaka’s curled shot, C. Ronaldo’s low shot, and even an Alonso long shot from joining the attack.

However, these four shots from Real Madrid were all blocked by De Gea’s high and low saves.

Atletico Madrid’s fans were naturally a bit encouraged; their genius goalkeeper finally stabilized his mindset, while Real Madrid fans, with a 2-goal lead, slightly teased, ”What, wasn’t it Chen’s shot, so it didn’t go in?”

After completing two goals, Chen Zhong was clearly being given extra attention by Atletico Madrid. He could choose to stick it out in the middle with his body, but as a man who plays with his brain, he chose to attract Atletico Madrid’s focus, aiding his teammates to gain more attacking opportunities.

Clearly, Kaka was a bit more serious after being dealt with by De Gea’s saves.

In the 40th minute of the game, Kaka overtook two people consecutively on the right side and chose to cut across the middle. Cristiano Ronaldo, having squeezed out Negredo’s space early, went for a powerful low shot.

The quality of this shot was very high.

Yet, as if aided by gods, De Gea pressed the ball under his body.

”XXX!”

Somewhat upset, Cristiano Ronaldo swore. Ever since joining Real Madrid, his ”wild shots” have become famous. Many say his goals come from a barrage of shooting opportunities.

But in this match, many should-be goals being saved was quite frustrating.

And being continually breached twice by someone who trains with him every day, yet unable to score himself, was even more frustrating.

After completing the save, De Gea quickly grabbed the ball and sprinted forward, then forcefully threw it.

”Atletico Madrid’s quick counterattack!”

”Reyes with the ball.”

”Aguero moves to the wing.”

”Beautiful coordination.”

”Aguero receives the ball on the wing and looks at Chen Zhong.”

”Chen Zhong guards the middle of Fernando.”

”Aguero tries to break through directly.”

”Pepe intercepts the ball directly.”

Aguero’s attack was also Atletico Madrid’s last attack of the first half, after which Real Madrid entered the dressing room with a 2-goal lead.

After the halftime break, Atletico Madrid was the first to make a substitution.

Diego Simeone replaced Simao with Diego Costa.

Simao Pedro Fonseca Sabrosa, a product of Lisbon’s youth training, a Portuguese player who formerly played for Barcelona, had decent left and right foot technique and an excellent feel for the ball.

But in this match, he was like an invisible man, contributing very little to the team.

Especially when it came to Diego Simeone’s demand for ”fighting for every inch of ground,” this Portuguese veteran seemed overly gentle.

”Atletico Madrid used a substitution slot during halftime.”

”They sent off Simao, who performed poorly in the first half.”

”Brought on Diego Costa.”

The magnificent beauty was obviously quite clear about his purpose on the field and deliberately body-checked Chen Zhong while the two teams’ players were entering.

Then looked provocatively at Chen Zhong.

Although Chen Zhong was the captain of Real Madrid and wore the number 10 shirt, as well as being a Ballon d’Or favorite, he was only 19 years old, too young to instill awe. Especially when faced with someone ”yearning for merits,” he was viewed as a weak and easily bullied target.

”That guy.”

Pepe revealed a set of white teeth, his gaze icy as he looked at Diego Costa, who seemed unconcerned.

He came onto the field to cause trouble.

Disrupt Real Madrid’s fluent attacks, mess up the match’s rhythm, so Atletico Madrid could seek victory amidst the chaos.

This was Diego Simeone’s assignment for him during halftime.

”Real Madrid’s offense.”

”Kaka gets the ball on the wing.”

”Costa.”

”Directly knocks Kaka to the ground.”

”These little moves.”

”Did the referee not signal?”

”Indeed, no signal.”

Kaka was lying on the ground, his face flushed, not from embarrassment, but from anger.

Chen Zhong looked at Kaka, who had a slightly aggrieved look in his eyes, as if saying, ”I’ve never seen someone this dirty.”

”Atletico Madrid’s attack.”

”Given to Costa.”

”Pepe.”

”Fell to the ground!?”

”What!”

In the stands, there was an uproar among the Real Madrid fans.

Two seasons ago, when Chen Zhong was loaned to Milan, due to Pepe’s impetuous actions and brainless red cards, fans nicknamed him the Martial Monk.

He gradually earned a reputation as a villain.

Though restrained somewhat upon Chen Zhong’s return, due to his previous explosive actions and fierce expressions, he remained a tough guy in many people’s memories.

Yet, just now, this tough guy faced Diego Costa and, clutching his face, fell to the ground.

Still, the referee showed no intention to call a foul.

”It seems he got hit in the face.”

”Costa raised a hand and hit Pepe’s face.”

”But the referee gave no indication.”

”He obtained a good opportunity.”

After coming on, Diego Costa used various filthy little moves to his advantage, taking full advantage while others weren’t familiar with him.

At this moment, his eyes were entirely on the goal.

At Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, when the team was two goals down, he, once loaned out, returned as a king, standing firm and scoring a crucial goal, reveling in the fans’ cheers during this city derby!

An event like this would be delightful!

Pepe stayed on the ground for a while, then seeing the referee hadn’t blown the whistle, chose not to stay still; his excellent physical condition and explosiveness quickly had him closing in on Diego Costa.

Though he couldn’t prevent the opponent from advancing towards the penalty area, he indeed slowed Diego Costa’s speed somewhat.

Meanwhile, the sounds in the stadium grew louder and louder.

Diego Costa thought it was Real Madrid’s fans trying to distract him, and on his ”ugly” face appeared a ”charming” smile, as if saying, ”Shout on! The louder you shout, the more excited I get.”

In fact, the fans were thrilled because of Chen Zhong’s rapid approach from the side.

Watching Chen Zhong charging fiercely towards Diego Costa.

They couldn’t help but shout together from the heart, ”Tackle him, tackle him!”
