New Ability Every Ten Days: Becoming a Vampire Made Me Too OP

When Yu Xian learned that he could use the command token to control the seven prisoners and make them work for him, his first thought was to have them kill Edward. However, he soon discovered that the prisoners could not leave the Land of Glory, nor could their power extend beyond their cells. Otherwise, even if Yu Xian did not order them to kill Edward, he could simply borrow their power and do it himself.

He also considered using them to forge a Star Divine Artifact. The problem was that he had no suitable materials. According to the rules, the prisoners could craft equipment for him only using materials he personally provided.

A Star Divine Artifact required at least Star-rank materials as the primary component. At present, the highest-grade material in his possession was probably the core of the Dragon Shield, but even that was merely a God-rank material. Therefore, he immediately ruled out having the prisoners forge a Star Divine Artifact.

Left with no other choice, he could only go all in. He would combine the wisdom of all seven prisoners and have them devise the perfect path for him to grow stronger.

Once he made his decision, he immediately exercised his authority through the command token. The next second, he felt as though his mind had become connected to the brains of all seven prisoners. However, the prisoners’ minds could not interfere with his thoughts. They functioned more like AI assistants. Whatever question he posed, all seven minds were compelled to analyze it furiously before presenting their respective answers and insights.

Yu Xian asked, ”I want to become stronger as quickly as possible!”

Instantly, six answers appeared at the same time. The first answer came from Rama. It was a cultivation technique called the Scripture of the Wicked. As the saying went, it took a greater villain to deal with a villain. This scripture could absorb the resentment left behind by an enemy’s evil deeds. While the practitioner tortured that enemy, the resentment would rapidly transform into power and be absorbed. As long as Yu Xian killed enough evildoers, he could grow stronger very quickly.

The second answer was the Dragonblood Race-Conversion Art. As long as he obtained the blood of a Darkgate Dragon, he could use the technique to change his race and become stronger at the most fundamental level.

The third was Cellular Viralization, which would transform every cell in Yu Xian’s body into a virus. When gathered together, the cells would form a single whole. When dispersed, they would become countless microscopic viruses. By controlling those viruses and having them continuously infect other lifeforms, he could quickly accumulate an enormous amount of biological energy. ℯℯ𝘭.

The fourth was the Faith Apotheosis Art. Yu Xian lost interest in it after a glance. Although the method could make him stronger quickly, its drawbacks were equally obvious. If anything went wrong with the Faith sustaining him, he could easily die. Furthermore, he could end up becoming enslaved by the very Faith that empowered him. Yu Xian valued his freedom far too much to willingly place a noose around his neck.

The fifth answer came from the World Tree, but it offered nothing useful whatsoever. Evidently, it had relied entirely on its innate abilities and was, at heart, nothing more than a giant, ignorant tree that had never bothered to learn anything.

The sixth was Forbidden Witchcraft, which essentially involved signing contracts with devils from the Abyss. The more devils he contracted with, the greater his power would become. If Yu Xian were bold enough, he could even increase his strength by several thousand, or tens of thousands, of times within a short period.

Naturally, such power came at a price. As for what that price would be, it depended entirely on how well Yu Xian negotiated with the devils.

The seventh method was provided by the silicon-based lifeform. It planned to convert Yu Xian’s consciousness into electronic signals and then construct a mechanical army. As long as his data was not destroyed, he could continuously manufacture new bodies for himself. He could even convert those mechanical bodies into nanomachines, making himself far more difficult to eliminate.

After reviewing all six plans, Yu Xian fell silent. These methods could indeed allow him to grow stronger quickly. The problem was that none of them suited him, especially the plan proposed by the silicon-based lifeform, which was complete garbage.

How can I possibly abandon my body and turn myself into a machine?

Moreover, he had already used up his chances with the prisoners. The World Tree had failed to answer his question due to its lack of knowledge, so he could still issue it another request. The other six prisoners, however, had already provided their answers, which meant he could no longer command them to think on his behalf.

He sat down on the chair with the command token in hand and reviewed the six answers again and again. Super Brain continuously analyzed their advantages and disadvantages while searching for anything he could adapt for his use.

Although Eternal Purity often called him stupid, he was not truly unintelligent. He simply lacked experience and knowledge. After all, knowledge could not appear from nothing. Without the necessary breadth of understanding, he could not possibly come up with ideas that lay entirely beyond his imagination.

Now that he had these six answers, however, he could combine their knowledge with his circumstances, radically modify their methods, and search for the path best suited to him.

These methods were extremely complicated in practice, with each explanation stretching on at great length. The first three in particular were astonishingly comprehensive.

The resentment-conversion method described in the Scripture of the Wicked spanned three thousand eloquent words. Though concise in principle, every line carried profound meaning and went straight to the heart of cultivation.

The Dragonblood Race-Conversion Art explained bloodline techniques in exhaustive detail, even including methods for developing bloodline abilities. Clearly, the Darkgate Dragonkin had held nothing back.

Cellular Viralization, meanwhile, covered subjects such as the soul, cells, and viruses. It was as though Nina had repeatedly dismantled the human body piece by piece. Anyone who fully comprehended its contents would undoubtedly become an expert in radically modifying cells.

Yu Xian noticed that certain parts of the six answers were remarkably distinct, as though each method had originated from a different era. Even their descriptions of ranks used entirely different terminology. Fortunately, all paths ultimately led to the same destination, with every cultivation system pointing toward the Almighty-rank.

Clearly, the ranks below Almighty-rank had never been standardized throughout history. Some systems used numerical levels, such as Level 100 or Level 200, while others employed terms like the Creation Realm or Dragon Transformation.

Yu Xian compared the six answers against the basic knowledge Eternal Purity had imparted to him and gradually came to understand their contents. Three hours later, while he was studying the Dragonblood Race-Conversion Art, a flash of inspiration struck him.

The Dragonblood Race-Conversion Art essentially involved replacing one’s blood with that of a Darkgate Dragon, then using a secret technique to transform one’s race and become stronger at the most fundamental level. In theory, the stronger the supernatural race the blood came from, the greater the resulting transformation should be. Then what if Yu Xian drank his own blood?

This was related to one particular characteristic of the Dragonblood Race-Conversion Art. Dragonblood enhancement was not limited to a single use. It could be performed countless times, allowing a Darkgate Dragonkin to eventually become even stronger than a pure-blooded Darkgate Dragon.

What would happen if Yu Xian continuously drank his own blood and used the secret technique to transform his bloodline again and again? The moment this idea appeared in his mind, he intensely deduced its possibilities. At the same time, he searched the Scripture of the Wicked and Cellular Viralization for methods that could compensate for its potential flaws.

For example, the Blood-Cleansing Art and the Cellular Transcription Art came from those two methods respectively. The former purified one’s blood and vital energy, while the latter refined and purified one’s cells.

Five hours passed in the blink of an eye. Yu Xian slowly opened his eyes, a faint smile appearing at the corners of his mouth. By integrating the knowledge contained within all six answers, he had finally devised the cultivation method best suited to him—Blood Demon Style: Infinite Self-Devouring Art.
