New Ability Every Ten Days: Becoming a Vampire Made Me Too OP

Although Yu Xian had shrunk, his weight had not changed at all. Many bubbles covered the soles of his shoes. Some were spatial bubbles, some were adhesive bubbles, and the rest were elastic bubbles. With Super Brain, he could freely control these bubbles and make them perform their intended function, such as allowing him to fly, increasing his jumping power, or sticking him to certain surfaces.

These bubbles were also the reason he didn’t sink into the ground. Otherwise, given his current size and weight, the pressure he exerted definitely exceeded the ground’s compressive strength, and thus, he would sink beneath the surface.

Neither the mantis nor the sparrow could understand why someone so tiny was so incredibly heavy. After struggling for a while, however, the sparrow decisively abandoned the mantis and quickly flew away.

Yu Xian pried apart the mantis’s scythe-like forelegs, then leaped onto the leaf of a wild chrysanthemum. He sat down amid the floral fragrance and enjoyed a moment of peace.

The Art of Vast Within, Small Without and the Art of Small Within, Vast Without could be considered the two simplest spells of the Art of the World Within a Pot. He now had a good idea of how to use them.

In fact, the two spells could also be applied in reverse, allowing him to transform into a giant. With the spatial energy he had currently stolen, using the Art of Small Within, Vast Without would allow him to grow into a giant roughly ten meters tall. However, his weight and mass would remain unchanged. In practice, he would be no different from a hollow balloon, which would make the transformation useless in combat.

Of course, he could use it on someone else. For example, he could enlarge an enemy, turning them into a gigantic moving target that everyone could focus their attacks on.

In truth, all nine spells that made up the Art of the World Within a Pot existed to support a pocket dimension. These two spells were mainly intended for foundations that could only sustain pocket dimensions with very limited internal space.

The quality of the foundation determined the size of the pocket dimension. For example, if an ordinary teapot were used as the foundation, it could hold at most enough spatial energy to create a room-sized space.

This was when the Art of Vast Within, Small Without and the Art of Small Within, Vast Without became useful. Even if the available space was tiny, it could still be fashioned into a microscopic world. Once the user shrank and moved inside, it would no longer feel cramped.

Yu Xian’s foundation was his mutated Blood Energy, so he had no such concern. Once the spatial energy fused with his mutated Blood Energy, he could create potworld bubbles however he wished. As long as the mutated Blood Energy within him continued to grow, he would undoubtedly be able to create enormous potworld bubbles in the future.

Sitting on the chrysanthemum leaf, Yu Xian snapped out of his daze and created a potworld bubble in his palm. ”So, the Art of So Vast That Nothing Lies Beyond is essentially a spatial loop?”

After studying it for a while, he discovered that this spell could be cast only inside a potworld bubble. Once it was activated, the interior of the bubble no longer had any boundaries. In other words, its beginning and end became connected. It was similar to a spatial loop or spatial folding.

Yu Xian teleported a Molten Spirit Gu Insect over from the Red Planet and placed it inside the potworld bubble. Sure enough, no matter how the Molten Spirit Gu Insect flew around inside, it could never reach the bubble’s spatial barrier. It could only keep flying endlessly, never touching a boundary.

This spell made a pocket dimension feel far more natural. It allowed wind to circulate and water to form a continuous cycle. Without it, the wind would strike the spatial barrier and then be forced to flow either upward or downward along its surface, making the entire pocket dimension feel unnatural and strangely distorted.

After figuring out this spell, Yu Xian moved on to the Art of So Small That Nothing Lies Within. This spell did not allow one to shrink a pocket dimension until it no longer had any internal space. Rather, the spell acted on the foundation itself, reducing it to an unimaginably tiny size.

The foundation could become even smaller than an atom. Clearly, this was a spell meant to conceal a pocket dimension.

Yu Xian thought of the seemingly empty glass chamber in the Supernatural Containment Facility and finally understood. Li Zhangzong had definitely used the Art of So Small That Nothing Lies Within on his foundation, which was why none of them had noticed that a pocket dimension existed inside the room.

Had Li Zhangzong been unwilling to meet them, they could have probably stood inside that glass chamber for a million years without ever entering his pocket dimension.

”I wonder what Elder Li uses as his foundation?”

Yu Xian pondered the question for a while. Then, acting on a whim, he adhered a potworld bubble to the underside of a chrysanthemum leaf. From now on, this would be his secret base. He created another potworld bubble and cast the Art of Neither Outside nor Inside within it.

Closing his eyes, he sensed the interior for a moment, then found himself at a loss for words. Because of the unique properties of his mutated Blood Energy, he already knew everything inside a potworld bubble like the back of his hand. The Art of Neither Outside nor Inside merely strengthened that awareness. It was somewhat useful, but not by much.

After gaining a basic understanding of it, Yu Xian moved on to the next spell. He initially tried to cast the Art of Neither Lost nor Destroyed directly on the potworld bubble, only to discover that it would not work. The spell could only be used when another object was inside the space. However, that restriction allowed him to quickly understand its purpose.

Casting the Art of Neither Lost nor Destroyed on an inanimate object inside a potworld bubble was essentially equivalent to recording the object’s current state. No matter how much time passed, as long as the object remained inside the bubble, it would neither lose energy nor suffer any damage.

For example, if Yu Xian cast the spell on a flame inside a potworld bubble, the flame would continue burning forever, in that exact state.

Countless applications of the spell immediately came to Yu Xian’s mind, such as creating a sun and moon or making furniture and appliances that would never break down.

The Art of the World Within a Pot truly was the ultimate ability, whether for staying at home, traveling, or even committing crimes. The Art of Neither Lost nor Destroyed alone could ensure that its user lived comfortably inside a pocket dimension, with an inexhaustible supply of electricity, water, and fire.

Yu Xian suddenly felt that his 2,000-square-meter Chinese-style villa no longer seemed quite so appealing. He wanted to create a pocket dimension of his own instead. Merely imagining the effects after adding all the different spells made his mouth water, and he could barely resist creating one right now.

He remembered that his mission was not yet complete, so he had no choice but to set the idea aside for the time being. Once everything was over, he would definitely create a pocket dimension that belonged solely to him.

Yu Xian continued studying the remaining three spells.

The Art of Mending the Void was essentially a spell for repairing pocket dimensions. If a pocket dimension developed cracks after an enemy attack, the spell could mend them.

The Art of Neither Excessiveness nor Deficiency had to be used together with the Art of Blending All. Together, these spells allowed everything within a pocket dimension to bypass many intermediate transformation processes and return directly to their original state.

While this sounded similar to the Art of Neither Lost nor Destroyed, the effect was entirely different. The former merely prevented specific objects from deteriorating. The Art of Neither Excessiveness nor Deficiency, when combined with the Art of Blending All, could instead allow something like a plastic bag to skip the lengthy process of natural decomposition and revert directly to its raw materials.

These two spells could be considered fundamental to maintaining a pocket dimension. The growth, decomposition, and circulation of all things depended on them.

Take animal waste, for example. With the Art of Neither Excessiveness nor Deficiency and the Art of Blending All working together, the moment an animal defecated, its waste would be broken down that very instant, transformed into various elements, and absorbed by the earth before rapidly entering the next cycle. Without these two spells, once the animal population grew large enough, the entire pocket dimension could end up reeking.

In addition, the Art of Blending All possessed another extraordinarily powerful effect when used on its own.
