Prodigal System in the Flourishing City

Chapter 623: Chapter 621: Thorny Problem, Part 2

As soon as that sentence was uttered, everyone immediately turned to look.

They saw a group of soldiers coming from afar, and the one speaking was their leader.

At first glance, everyone suddenly realized who it was: the famous troublemaker of the unit, oh wait, not just a troublemaker, but the notorious troublemaker company commander!

Yes, it was a company commander.

But he was also the biggest troublemaker among the soldiers.

His temper could be described as explosive. It was common for him to fight with other company commanders of the same rank, and he had even clashed with the battalion commander countless times.

Consequently, the soldiers under his command were all troublemakers as well, almost all of them managed to cut their own path.

Also, it was said he had quite the background.

Other company commanders would often complain, but in the end, everything seemed to fizzle out with no results!

However, say what you will, despite being troublemakers, everyone from top to bottom was skilled – their quality was simply unmatched and top-notch!

Especially this company commander, he was unbeatable in fights!

Don’t agree? He’ll fight until you do!

They privately referred to this company as something not quite right in a regular unit.

Wherever they went, they’d proclaim: ”The special forces are here.”

And now.

As soon as they saw them arriving, the group of soldiers quickly stood up and came to attention.

They didn’t dare mess with this ’special force’ – they didn’t care if you were their soldier or not, if they disliked something about you, they’d take care of you!

...

Lu Xiaobu had already started getting his hands dirty.

Just as he had anticipated, he was a bit too proud and though it appeared simple, he kept making mistakes once he started.

But as he had said before, he was just doing it for the novelty, so there was no rush.

Take it slow, step by step.

However, even so, he quickly became covered in mud, to the point where his face was barely visible.

He even managed to splatter mud on Zhang Meng’s and Li Jin’s faces, who were standing by for his protection.

At first glance, the three of them looked like taro just unearthed from the soil.

This scene caused Liang Lan and the other three girls to burst out laughing uncontrollably.

”Xixi, Young Master, isn’t this your first time getting this dirty?”

”Ha ha ha, Xiaobu oh Xiaobu, I told you not to show off! With that little frame of yours!”

”I have to take a picture of this, xixi!”

”Boss, xixi!”

Their laughter didn’t matter, but it made the group of soldiers envious.

They say three years in the army makes a sow seem fair as Diaochan.

Of course, that’s an exaggeration.

But the general idea isn’t wrong – it’s rare to see women in the military, especially beauties like Liang Lan, who made their hearts beat wildly!

Of course, it’s only human to appreciate beauty, there’s nothing wrong with that.

However, someone didn’t like what they were seeing.

”Yiha, look, it’s the Young Master indeed! Bringing girls to tour the military camp! How impressive!”

The troublemaker company commander—Qiu Yuelun, could not stand this kind of behavior where training was treated as a game, and seeing this scene only fueled his anger.

So, he led his soldiers over.

”What’s this? Not training? Scram to the side!”

Qiu Yuelun had no kind words as he started rebuking Lu Xiaobu, who was in the mudpit, harshly.

Like commander, like soldier.

Once Qiu Yuelun spoke, his soldiers wouldn’t just stand idly by.

”This kind of thing is not for young masters like you.”

”Exactly, you’ve spent all your strength on women, and now you come here to play the fool.”

”I bet you just want to take a couple of photos to show off when you get back.”

”Hey, tsk tsk tsk!”

”...”

Upon hearing this, Company Commander Wang’s face immediately darkened: ”Everyone shut up!”

Upon Company Commander Wang’s words, all of Qiu Yuelun’s soldiers fell silent.

”Yo-ho, isn’t this Company Commander Wang? What’s up? Thinking of having a go with me?”

Qiu Yuelun looked at Company Commander Wang, his brows instantly furrowed.

”Qiu Yuelun, you can fool around usually, but not today!”

Company Commander Wang was furious.

This Qiu Yuelun, if he wasn’t looking for trouble, he’d still be looking for trouble!

”Who says I’m fooling around! This is a training ground, not a place for you to amuse people! Even deliberately keeping the soldiers aside, what authority do you have to do that?!”

Qiu Yuelun addressed Company Commander Wang: ”Our company needs to train; if you’re not training, we are. Give up the training field!

”You!” Company Commander Wang was left speechless by the retort!

”Cut it out!” Qiu Yuelun sneered, no longer looking at Company Commander Wang, but turned his gaze to Lu Xiaobu on the ground: ”You, get out! I don’t care who you are, this is the military! You must follow the military’s rules!”

Zhang Meng immediately stood up.

”Hold on.”

Lu Xiaobu stopped Zhang Meng, stood up from the ground, and faced Qiu Yuelun: ”The military’s rules, good, what are they? Enlighten me.”

”Sure!” Qiu Yuelun got excited too, looking at Lu Xiaobu: ”Simple! This is a training field. If you want to train, you can. If you want to play, get out!”

Lu Xiaobu frowned; he admired the soldier’s spirit!

But this kid’s constant ”get out” was really starting to tick him off!

”What? Can’t understand?” Qiu Yuelun scoffed: ”Then you better get out!”

”Fine! Then let’s follow your rules!”

Lu Xiaobu’s temper flared, his eyes fixated on Qiu Yuelun: ”I will train here!”

”That’s crazy of you; just don’t hurt your little body, it wouldn’t be worth it!” Qiu Yuelun sneered.

”Cut the crap! Don’t go on and on like a nagging woman! Come on! Let’s go!” Lu Xiaobu, taking off his soaked shirt, addressed Qiu Yuelun.

”Good! I like your spirit! If you can go through the drill according to military standards, then I’ll apologize!” Qiu Yuelun slapped his chest as he spoke.

Lu Xiaobu’s nature, it’s to his taste!

”Military standards? What do you mean? Do you have your own standards?”

Lu Xiaobu picked up on the implicit meaning in Qiu Yuelun’s words.

”Of course, otherwise how do you think my soldiers are trained?”

Qiu Yuelun said proudly: ”Without this foundation, I wouldn’t be able to stand tall!”

”Alright, let’s go by your standards.”

Lu Xiaobu gestured with his hand and moved to the starting point of the training field.

”Alright, I respect you for being a true man! Just pass the test! Forget the apology, I’ll even treat you to a drink!” Qiu Yuelun said grandly.

”Qiu Yuelun, have you lost your mind! Mr. Lu has no training experience. Doing this could lead to disaster!” Company Commander Wang was furious.

He knew all too well about Qiu Yuelun’s training methods.

They were nearly cruel!

”Quit your yelling at me, I see more backbone in him than you!”

Qiu Yuelun glared: ”If you keep on blabbering, we might as well go have a drill off ourselves!”

Saying this, Qiu Yuelun walked over to Lu Xiaobu’s side, stood in position, and began warming up.

”What are you doing?”

Lu Xiaobu asked, perplexed.

”Joining you. To ensure your safety.” Qiu Yuelun spoke indifferently.

He was a thorn, not a lunatic.

He was going to train alongside this rich Young Master, then protect his safety!

”Yo-ho? Not afraid you can’t keep up with me?”

Lu Xiaobu tilted his head, a smile curling at the corner of his mouth.

This time, it looks like he really needed to give it his all!
