I Married the President

Chapter 464: Chapter 464: A Massive Display of PDA

This flawless, perfect man exuded an irresistible masculine charm. She was utterly mesmerized by him, completely captivated.

Only when Adrian Quincy and his wife, Claire Sinclair, reached the judges’ panel did Cecily Taylor finally snap out of her daze, her heart suddenly pounding erratically.

Adrian Quincy casually picked up the microphone on the table, slowly turned to face the 50 contestants, and parted his lips. ”I came here for two reasons,” he said. ”First, to see how Claire is doing, and whether any of you have been bullying her.”

”No!”

”Young Master Quincy, we haven’t bullied Professor Sinclair!”

”Oh my god, so Young Master Quincy is a fiercely protective husband!”

”He’s so cool! I really admire a man who treats his girlfriend so well!”

”Didn’t Young Master Quincy say there were two reasons? What’s the other one?”

The contestants were buzzing with excitement.

The corners of Adrian Quincy’s lips tilted up slightly. He turned slowly, his cold and aloof dark eyes sweeping over Cecily Taylor.

Cecily Taylor’s body stiffened. She couldn’t help but feel nervous, her face growing hot.

However, the man’s gaze didn’t land on her at all. Instead, it fell upon an assistant sitting in the audience.

Adrian Quincy put down the microphone and immediately turned to Aiden Howkins. ”Take her away.”

”Yes, sir!” Aiden Howkins replied. He then led two men forward, pulled Cecily Taylor’s assistant to her feet, and forcefully apprehended her.

Seeing this, everyone was stunned!

What is going on???

The assistant panicked and cried out, ”Where are you taking me? Why are you arresting me? Cecily Taylor, save me!”

Cecily Taylor was also completely bewildered. It took her a long moment to react. ”Young Master Quincy, why are you arresting Peach? Has she committed a crime?”

Adrian Quincy’s cold eyes narrowed, his gaze landing on Cecily Taylor. He said expressionlessly, ”Don’t let me find any dirt on you. Otherwise, you’ll be the one I take away next time.”

After speaking, he turned to Claire Sinclair, his voice softening considerably. ”Claire, I’m taking the suspect back for interrogation first. I’ll come pick you up later.”

Claire Sinclair nodded blankly. ”Okay.”

Adrian Quincy suddenly leaned down and pecked her on the lips, completely unconcerned about the cameras.

He kissed her and dashed off...

The contestants went wild.

”This is a major PDA-fest!”

”We’re being force-fed their romance out of nowhere!”

”I can’t take it! Young Master Quincy is so smooth, even I, a man, am getting butterflies!”

”Professor Sinclair is so lucky! I want a man to dote on me like that too... but I’m a man, so what can I do? Is there a woman out there who can dote on me like that?”

...

Although most people were envious, for one person, it was like being trapped between ice and fire.

’Young Master Quincy took Peach away. Peach won’t spill the beans about... those things, will she?’

’That bitch, Claire Sinclair! How dare she have Young Master Quincy take Peach away in front of so many people! She’s doing this on purpose just to mess with me, isn’t she!’

Cecily Taylor forced herself to calm down. She looked at Claire Sinclair with a polite and worried expression. ”Professor Sinclair, why did Young Master Quincy take Peach away?”

Claire Sinclair feigned ignorance, saying, ”I’m not sure either. In the past, the only people Mr. Quincy has taken away personally have been most-wanted fugitives, the kind where the evidence is ironclad.”

”What...” Cecily Taylor’s face instantly turned ashen.

Claire Sinclair gave her a pat on the shoulder in mock consolation. ”Professor Taylor, don’t you worry. As long as Peach hasn’t done anything illegal, Mr. Quincy won’t make things difficult for her.”

Cecily Taylor desperately wanted to shrug off her hand, but in front of the cameras, she could only endure it. She forced a smile and said, ”You have a point. Peach has always been the type to do whatever she wants and never listens to my advice. I just hope she hasn’t done anything wrong.”
