I just wanted you to make a movie: You made a Honkai Star Rail movie

In the first version of the ending, they all worked together to drive the Boss Stone out of Dreamville, as if history had righted itself.

However, the subsequent endings—Candy-Coated Bomb, Invisible Prison, Ugly Flowers, Eternal Sweet Dreams— Each used various perspectives to overturn Hanu’s efforts.

And each story was narrated in a soft, charming fairy tale style.

But as soon as the audience thought deeply about the details, a chill ran down their spines.

It felt like Director Xia’s dark sense of humor, using fairy tales to write history, while ensuring you could sense the lurking darkness within.

What dark fairy tales!

-----------------------------

Through the efforts of the audience, all five different endings have been unlocked, and detailed written reports have been shared across various platforms.

Apart from the prequel-ending ”Clockie Adventure,” the other four endings each correspond to unique special conclusions.

For example, the ”Nightmare Battle,” which primarily depicts the struggle between Brother Hanu and Boss Stone.

In the normal ending, there’s a rather ”naive” tone, as if thickly layered under Clockie’s boyish charm,

”The crew stepped onto the streets of Dreamville Town, met with desolation as far as the eye could see.”

”Flames consumed the dilapidated wooden houses, while hungry crocodiles roamed among the ruins.”

”Driven by his curiosity, Clockie pressed forward.”

”Clockie didn’t want to drink the Soda Man’s soda, but the crew still bought several bottles.”

However, when the audience filled in numbers representing emotions, these lines would change.

Sometimes they were serious, with descriptions that advanced the plot,

and at other times, they played with humor.

For instance, in Act II, when Clockie reached Dreamville Town, he faced two choices,

”Clockie discovered a place filled with buried gemstones, seemingly the treasure of Dreamville Town. He stared in awe—this must be worth a fortune!”

”A cool guy named Brother Hanu found the crew near the mine. Facing strangers, he let out a cold ’Hmph’ and unhesitatingly raised his rocket launcher.”

After the audience added their emotional input, the two options changed to,

”Clockie ignored the crew’s objections, greedily collecting gemstones and muttering, ’You’re so stingy! Who even notices who owns what when cracking open treasure chests!’”

”Clockie chose to beg for mercy, but Brother Hanu captured everyone, ’Tick-tock! Now you’re Jailhouse Boy instead!’”

These choices often delighted the audience, further confirming that there were definitely writers within MiHoYo’s team with a knack for comedic twists.

The normal course of this ending had Clockie and Brother Hanu starting off at odds but eventually teaming up to defeat Boss Stone, liberating Dreamville Town.

In the special ending, ”Candy-Coated Bullet,” the plot continued right after this conclusion.

Brother Hanu became the big brother figure, while Boss Stone helped the town with everything he had.

But something more terrifying than war was brewing in the shadows.

Under Clockie’s suggestion, Brother Hanu accepted Boss Stone’s assistance and began working together to build Dream Town.

However, some of the former allies who had fought alongside Brother Hanu against Boss Stone refused to cooperate, clinging to past grudges, creating chaos and resisting Brother Hanu’ actions.

These were no longer ordinary townsfolk—they had to be dealt with decisively.

Brother Hanu imprisoned all the troublemakers.

After resolving this issue, many townsfolk injured in the war were treated by the best doctors summoned by Boss Stone.

But as time went on, Brother Hanu didn’t know how to further develop the town. The townsfolk quickly spent all the funding provided by Boss Stone.

These townsfolk even began to blame Brother Hanu for his incompetence!

Yet Boss Stone became increasingly popular in the town, even publishing his autobiography.

However, Brother Hanu discovered that Boss Stone had erased all the mistakes he had committed in this book.

The book quickly became a hit in the town.

So much so that the fact that Boss Stone had once enslaved the townsfolk was now seen as nothing more than a wild rumor.

”Boss Stone enslaved us? That’s the wildest tale I’ve ever heard!”

Eventually, when the timing was right, Boss Stone called for a second negotiation with Brother Hanu, he claimed to have been the key contributor to Dreamville Town’s happiness and demanded greater authority.

Of course, Brother Hanu refused.

The furious Stone Boss immediately withdrew all funding.

But this time, Boss Stone was far more mature.

He began gathering dirt on Brother Hanu, such as ”alienating Clockie” and ”forcing the crew of the Compass to serve him.”

When these false accusations spread throughout the town, Boss Stone handed the choice to the townsfolk, either submit to the tyranny of Brother Hanu or rise up against him.

No one knew the outcome of the vote.

But Boss Stone unilaterally announced that the townsfolk had chosen war.

Following this, when the war broke out, Boss Stone even approached the crew of the Compass, hoping Clockie would help him defeat Brother Hanu.

In this plotline, Clockie chose to join Boss Stone to overthrow Brother Hanu.

In the end, Brother Hanu were defeated and imprisoned again, and the townsfolk once more became laborers for Boss Stone.

Of course, it was all ”legal”...

This was the special ending of ”Nightmare Battle”: Candy-Coated Bullet.

The other special endings each had their own unique ”flavor.”

In the ”Invisible Prison” ending, Boss Stone became part of the town, with his dirt and schemes rendered completely ineffective.

However, he amassed great wealth and power by selling syrup beverages, even hosting banquets and inviting every resident.

In this ”peaceful” environment, a storm from the sea descended upon the town.

This time, even Brother Hanu and Clockie couldn’t resolve it quickly.

But Boss Stone could!

After a banquet, Boss Stone distributed contracts to everyone, filled with dense clauses that made people’s heads spin.

Fortunately, the Teacher deciphered the clauses, revealing the consequence of signing, permanent confinement.

For the townsfolk, they believed only Boss Stone could save them.

They rejected the persuasion of Brother Hanu and Clockie and signed their names on the contract.

Even with countless attempts from Clockie and Captain Revolver to stop them.

In the end, the storm indeed no longer destroys the town, but the townspeople have also lost their freedom. All the residents work day and night mining gems for Boss Stone.

It feels like they’ve returned to the past.

But some residents secretly fantasize in their hearts that another Brother Hanu or Clockie will emerge to drive away Boss Stone once again, bringing happiness and freedom.

However...

In a nightmare, such things can only be ”fantasies.”

Those who feed crocodiles will eventually be eaten by them.

These reversal endings left the audience overwhelmed.

...

: So, is this the kind of thing children in Penacony grow up watching?

: ... Is it really okay to show children this kind of stuff?

: It’s absurd. Although each sentence is childish, even somewhat cute, when pieced together, it seems to imply something terrifying.

: Why do so many of the stories feel so familiar...?

: Isn’t this projecting? The subtext is so obvious...

: MiHoYo truly understands the essence of fairy tales or, rather, children’s literature.

: But what do these five endings even represent?

: Sometimes it’s the Brother Hanu defeating Boss Stone, and sometimes it’s a second war.

: There are also many ambiguous characters, like the owl teacher, the wood lord, and the crybaby.

: Director Xia and MiHoYo probably released this game to make us discover some truth in it. A true drama reflects reality.

: But which one is the true ending? The smoke bombs are as numerous as ever.

...

On the forums, the audience were debating fervently.

Among these endings, there are endless contradictions.

For example, Clockie helping Boss Stone, or the Brother Hanu being overthrown by the townspeople.

Everyone still feels that the stories are highly unreliable, likely smoke bombs intentionally planted by MiHoYo.

There must be one true ending that represents the real Brother Hanu and Clockie.

But with five ordinary endings and four special endings combined, the entire forum is in chaos.

No one can convince anyone else.

...

In MiHoYo’s office, within the game room.

Everyone gathers to play the game using hand muscles (controllers).

Many people have already fully completed the game.

Looking at the dazzling array of endings, they too feel the same confusion as the the audience.

But the people here have their privileges.

”Ah, boss, just tell us already!”

”Spoiling a little bit won’t hurt.”

”Yeah, we already know the final ending, but the boss keeps trying to lure us in with the history of Penacony.”

”Hurry up and tell us, we’re begging you!” Led by Tingyun, a few girls surrounded Xia Wen, cooing and pleading in soft voices, making the boss’s scalp tingle.

Ayaka, standing to the side, expressed her helplessness.

”Isn’t there a possibility, that most of this is actually true?” Xia Wen smiled helplessly and explained.

”All true? But there’s so much conflicting information in there.” Furina blinked her big eyes and asked curiously.

”Well, these are the ’legendary’ stories passed down orally in Penacony.”

”If they’ve been passed down, there must be a reason for it.”

”Just like real-world urban legends or nursery rhymes, they always reflect the real history of their time.”

”It’s just that they aren’t actual history; even the timelines can be chaotic.”

”So they give you a sense of confusion, but in reality, all the events have some basis in truth.” This was all Xia Wen could explain to them.

Before the premiere of Myriad Celestia Trailer: A Beautiful Dream’s Past, he couldn’t spoil too much.

But even with this much information, a lot could already be inferred.

”Hmm... That’s odd, boss. According to those different endings,”

”The townspeople who joined the Brother Hanu and Clockie in fighting Boss Stone kept switching sides, even turning against the Brother Hanu.”

”We were all partners, so why in the end...”

Furina puzzled over this, her eyes filled with confusion.

The others were mostly the same.

”Partners?” Xia Wen laughed in surprise.

He finally understood why they found these plots contradictory.

In their eyes, the townspeople were equated with a tangible partner.

Continuing with this logic, they likely saw the story as a straightforward tale of defeating the bad guy.

Adding to that, many of the harsh realities were wrapped in the guise of a fairy tale.

For example, townspeople being ”eaten” by Boss Stone or other entities.

Ultimately, this led them to see these fragments of the story as a coherent, proper fairy tale.

And fairy tales should be beautiful.

They shouldn’t contain so much distortion and unkind truths.

”Sigh...” Xia Wen sighed, ”You silly girl, this is a revolution.”

”Re-revolution?” Furina shuddered, not understanding why the topic shifted to such a heavy word.

”Speaking of which, Furina, doesn’t your hometown have a lot of this?”

”Wasn’t there even some kind of ’beheaded king’ meme?”

Hearing the word ”revolution,” March 7th blinked her innocent eyes and chimed in.

Aside from a few, the rest nodded eagerly, curiously looking at Furina.

”Huh? Beheaded king? Meme?” Furina was utterly shocked.

But under their expectant gazes, she still reluctantly went along.

”Ah, ahaha, yes, you must be very curious.”

”Ahem, when it comes to revolutions, let me enlighten you. You all should properly thank Director Furina!”

Furina stood with her hands on her hips, basking in the surrounding cheers.

At this moment, several others—like Fu Xuan, Tingyun, Kafka, and Black Swan—along with those further away, such as Jing Yuan, all collectively facepalmed.

Even Xia Wen himself.

Mainly because the scene had turned into a complete farce.

”Run! We’re going to be surrounded by fictional historians and the followers of Aha!”

”Furina must’ve acquired the intertwining echo of fictional history and Elation.”

”Not even the prison history is as much of a hell scape as this.” Xia Wen couldn’t hold back any longer.

Before he burst into laughter, he pulled Ayaka and swiftly made his escape.
