”Don’t even think about running, you stowaway!” Several men and women surrounded a pitiful, trembling figure—a delicate, rain-soaked girl with flowing hair and mismatched clothes.

Their aggressive attitude left the fragile girl cowering, hands clasped protectively against her chest, looking terrified.

The audience’s eyes lit up, their excitement soaring.

It’s Firefly! Holy smokes. The most eye-catching and discussed female character from the PV had made her entrance!

------------------------------

The excited audience continued watching.

On the screen, Firefly was trembling in a corner, surrounded by a crowd of onlookers.

The delicate and helpless young girl retreated slowly. At this moment, her gaze suddenly found Stelle among the crowd.

For some reason, Firefly revealed a surprised and joyful smile.

Without hesitation, she ran toward Stelle.

”Excuse me, please help me,” Firefly said, her big eyes looking pitifully at Stelle.

Faced with the girl’s plea, Stelle put her hands on her hips and flashed a confident smile, ”Protecting a young lady in need? It’s my duty!”

”Huh? An accomplice? Perfect, catch them both!”

Several members of the Bloodhound clan immediately frowned and charged forward, shouting as they moved.

Without any discernment, they attempted to arrest Stelle.

Stelle shielded Firefly behind her, and the Flaming Lance instantly appeared in her hand.

A fight? She wasn’t afraid at all!

”How dare you draw a weapon!” The Bloodhound clan members grew even angrier.

Just as the conflict was about to erupt—

A somewhat weary voice rang out.

”Alright, alright, that’s enough, you brats. Stop right there.”

Following the voice, a middle-aged man with long hair, a scruffy beard, and a weary expression approached step by step.

He wore proper attire, but his color scheme was rather odd and complex.

His arm was adorned with leather straps, while his left arm bore scars of various colors.

His trousers were a pale red, but his vest was silver and green, with a black and green inner lining.

The small, scattered accessories on his body were countless, with wildly differing styles.

Yet somehow, the overall appearance didn’t seem bizarre.

As he reached the group, Gallagher glanced at Firefly, frowning slightly.

Firefly also frowned, but to the audience, her expression resembled the timid fear of a young girl.

The Bloodhound clan members turned to look at Gallagher.

Brown hair, gray vest. They immediately recognized him as a respected figure from the branch family.

”Sir! Good day!” The Bloodhound clan members hurriedly saluted Gallagher in panic.

”What on earth are you lot doing? Open your eyes and take a good look. Is this girl the smuggler we’re searching for?” Gallagher crossed his arms and sternly rebuked them.

”But, but this girl looks so suspicious! It must be her!”

The dark-skinned woman persisted stubbornly.

”Nonsense! Take another look!”

”The report said the suspect has silver hair. Are you arresting a girl with silver hair?”

”How could you confuse the two? And you even started a fight with our guests!”

Gallagher shook his head, giving them a cold glance. ”Enough. Leave now. I’ll handle this.”

After the flustered Bloodhound clan members scurried away, Gallagher stepped forward himself.

After a brief self-introduction, he sincerely apologized to Stelle and Firefly.

”I’m terribly sorry to have embarrassed our guests, mistaking such esteemed visitors to Penacony for criminals... How disgraceful.”

He explained further, ”This misunderstanding arose because we received a notice a few days ago about illegal intruders in Penacony.”

”With the Charmony Festival ongoing, there are many ill-intentioned individuals about.”

Hearing this, Firefly seemed to think of something, gasping softly and lowering her head.

”...”

”Rest assured, miss, I believe this was a beautiful misunderstanding. How could such an adorable girl possibly be a criminal?” Gallagher said after a brief pause.

”...Thank you. Without your help, I truly wouldn’t have known what to do,” Firefly said, looking up in surprise but still expressing her gratitude.

”Alright then, the misunderstanding is resolved. I have other matters to attend to, so I’ll take my leave.”

”If you need anything, feel free to contact me,” Gallagher said with a faint smile before waving and departing.

...

: Wow, Gallagher is such a good guy!

: Even though this cool uncle only had one scene in the trailer, I really like his personality and demeanor!

: Exactly, how could such an adorable young lady be hated or suspected?

: Haha, this uncle has quite a straightforward temperament. I find him pretty likable.

: Yeah, compared to those cryptic and strange characters earlier, Gallagher’s straightforwardness is so refreshing!

: Finally, a character with a simple personality. No more brain-burning!

: Judging by Gallagher’s speech and attitude in this scene, let’s label him a good guy for now.

: He seems like a minor local sheriff, nothing too grand. Let’s mark him as a normal villager and keep observing.

: As for Firefly, hehe, she’s just so cute.

...

Two new characters appeared at once.

For now, there’s little information on Firefly.

But Gallagher made a great first impression by resolving the conflict and assisting Firefly and Stelle, providing excellent service.

The audience quickly grew fond of him.

Before this, the characters had only gotten stranger and scarier—like Acheron with her special effect subtitles, Aventurine with his unclear schemes, and the eerie Misha.

Moreover, each person’s identity carries significant weight.

Gallagher is different—his personality is straightforward, and his boisterous, carefree nature shines through even when just waking up.

His identity, however, is merely that of an ordinary sheriff.

This contrast creates a striking disparity.

At least for the audience, Gallagher’s ordinary status instead gives them a sense of ease.

This sense of ease or comfort is perhaps the rarest commodity since the opening of the Penacony storyline.

But the adorable audience remains unaware.

The Penacony’s introduction of Werewolf’s has only just truly begun at this moment.

One ”actor” after another takes the stage.

The poor little fans are still adorably looking forward to Firefly’s storyline.

...

On screen, Gallagher left.

Firefly looked at Stelle with gratitude.

”Thank you so much for your help just now, or else I might have really... Been taken away.”

Firefly stammered through the last words.

But this hesitation only made her appear even more adorable.

”My pleasure.” Stelle grinned.

”Thank you so much! I know that when one receives a favor, they should repay it when the time comes!” Firefly clasped her hands near her chest and spoke courageously.

Her words carried a mix of stammering and bravery.

”I-I just realized you’re the Nameless Guest, right? Is this your first time in Penacony?” Firefly suddenly seemed to recall something and asked.

”Huh? You even know that? Since when did the Nameless become famous?” Stelle scratched his head.

”I-I...” Firefly stammered again, unsure how to respond, and then quickly changed the subject:

”I mean, you must have been invited here by The Family, right? C-Can I be your guide?”

”Even though the Bloodhound family treated me like a stowaway, it’s truly just a misunderstanding.”

”As an artist from the Iris family, even if I’m just a temporary performer...”

”When I’m not performing, I also handle local hospitality jobs. If you don’t mind, I can show you lots of fun places.”

As she continued, Firefly’s speech gradually became more fluent.

Her sweet and adorable demeanor drove the audience to spam the live chat.

They urged Stelle to agree to the lovely girl immediately!

”Alright, I’ll follow you then.” Stelle nodded.

”Mm! I’ll do my best as your guide. And...” Firefly flashed a sweet smile and was about to say more, but she suddenly turned her head, glancing cautiously around.

However, she quickly composed herself and refocused on Stelle.

”Never mind that; I’ll show you around. Let’s go.” With that, Firefly quickened her pace, leading Stelle away.

For the next period of time, Firefly wholeheartedly served as Stelle’s guide.

She enthusiastically introduced Penacony’s customs and culture, making it all seem very authentic.

Incidentally, it also allowed the audience to take a tour.

The sweet and gentle interactions between the adorable girl and Stelle elicited countless affectionate giggles from the viewers.

Finally, after a tour, Firefly proactively suggested treating Stelle to some delicious food.

The two stopped in front of a restaurant.

Looking at Stelle, Firefly softly said, ”Have you ever heard this saying? In dreams, hunger is the most precious thing.”

”This place offers most of Penacony’s specialty dishes, like SoulGlad, Oak Cake, Alfalfa Salad, and Pudding.”

”I love Oak Cake the most, but since I don’t have much savings, I can only afford one a day!”

”But this time, order whatever you like. It’s on me.”

This was her way of repaying Stelle for helping her out earlier.

”Uh...” Looking at the price list outside the restaurant, Stelle hesitated and added, ”The costs here might be a bit high.”

Hearing this, Firefly’s smile froze on her face.

She stammered, ”It, it should be fine. I still have some savings...”

As she spoke, she pulled out her adorable little wallet.

She emptied it and counted the coins, finding just enough for two dishes and a drink.

Stelle, however, was utterly unreserved.

The Trailblazer had no concept of budgeting when buying things.

Soon enough, she had ordered a mountain of food.

It came out to exactly twenty thousand.

Seeing Stelle grinning happily, and the towering plates of food, Firefly’s mouth hung slightly open, and she forced a rather strained smile.

”Ah? It’s already ordered?”

”You have quite the eye... Ha, haha... I-I’ll pay for it then.”

Her bitter smile and adorable words

Made the audience burst out laughing.

...

: Hahaha, Firefly is too sweet!

: Ahh, her personality is so real; I love her!

: She only allows herself one cake a day, yet she spent all her savings to let Stelle splurge!

: I love Firefly so much, I love her so much!

: Stelle, you’re so rich, just treat Firefly to a big meal already!

: This makes me want to protect Firefly even more!

: Wuwuwu, Firefly-chan is the best...
