I just wanted you to make a movie: You made a Honkai Star Rail movie

After years of hard work, Himeko finally repaired the Express and began her journey.

Along the way, she witnessed countless wonders and traveled in the company of many travelers she met unexpectedly, building the Crew that we see today.

Perhaps the Cosmos isn’t perfect, but she’s willing to lend a helping hand to every kindred spirit out there and set out on the road to the dream...

Finally, after watching all the stories, the fans flooded Guinaifen’s livestream with frantic comments.

...

”So shocking! The trajectory of the Astral Express was truly full of ups and downs!”

-----------------------------

: From another perspective, we witnessed the changes of the universe.

: The first prosperity, the second prosperity—almost every major event in the universe is related to the Astral Express!

: Looking back at the Swarm Disaster, that omnipresent trailblaze... shivers, it’s spine-chilling.

: But it seems Akivili is truly gone. Is the information here the final conclusion?

: After reading it, I feel so sorry for Pompom. Witnessing so many people leave, Pompom must have been devastated!

: Stop, stop, I can’t even imagine it—how lonely must it be for Pompom in the express compartment after the express disappeared and halted on the tracks?

: I wonder what happened that last time. So many disasters before, and none of them managed to stop the Express.

: Forget it, if we can’t find the reason, just blame it on Aha.

...

Guinaifen looked at the barrage of comments.

She felt an indescribable sensation in her heart.

Reading the stories of those Navigators, just through text, an epic feeling washed over her.

She wasn’t the only one who felt this way, many viewers in the livestream shared the same sentiment.

After being immersed in so many episodes of Honkai: Star Rail, everyone initially thought they understood the faction called the Astral Express well.

But after reading the personal stories of the nine Trailblazers, they realized they knew very little about the Nameless and the Astral Express.

Viewers couldn’t help but use their imagination to connect these stories in their minds.

They fantasized about being part of the Express themselves, galloping alongside each Trailblazer.

Fans seemed to see themselves, led by the Herald of the Sea of Stars, advancing together and linking the astral trails.

They also imagined following Crystal Dolly, listening to her beautiful singing, then experiencing Akivili’s fall together with her.

What fans sympathized with most, however, was Pompom.

At this moment, countless emotional viewers probably wished they could be by Pompom’s side during the Express’s darkest moments, to accompany that lonely soul.

...

: Aaaah, I can’t take it anymore—I want to isekai right now!

: I’m joining the Astral Express immediately!

: Who understands this? I’m lying on my bed twisting like anything, unable to stop imagining it.

: MiHoYo, why make a world for a series this fascinating?

: I’ve already rented a big truck—those who want to isekai, line up here. 200 per person, pay first, then cross.

: Happy ones, get out of here!

...

The barrage of comments erupted.

Seeing the playful comments at the end, Guinaifen couldn’t help but laugh.

She slightly composed her emotions.

Cheerfully, she said, ”Don’t get too emotional, everyone.”

”This surprise might just be a small appetizer.”

”After all, the boss never lays groundwork for no reason. Maybe in Penacony, there will be more depictions of Trailblazers.”

...

: Waaaah, Guinaifen, you’re too sly.

: Always teasing us like this.

: There are still several days until Saturday.

: By the way, Guinaifen, aren’t you at the company now? Can you show us Xia Wen?

: Yes, yes, interview Xia Wen for us!

: Support, support! I’m so curious! We want to see Xia Wen!

...

Guinaifen’s smile froze, she glanced nervously at Xia Wen not far away, who was drinking juice with Ayaka.

Guinaifen was very perceptive.

”Ahem, the boss isn’t here today, so you...”

Before she could finish, a paid comment appeared.

”Guinaifen, ever since you joined MiHoYo, you’ve been bragging to us daily about how well you’re doing there. And now you can’t even find the boss? Really? Just this?!”

The super chat came through.

The barrage was full of jeering ”just this” comments.

Guinaifen regretted it deeply.

Why did she have to brag in the first place?

Now she was in hot water, being roasted by the audience.

Guinaifen had no choice but to muster her courage and approach Xia Wen.

”Boss, um... could you do a live interview? Seeing Guinaifen looking a bit guilty, Xia Wen smiled kindly and put down his glass.

He immediately knew that Guinaifen must have exaggerated something during the livestream.

Now the audience had her cornered.

But such a small matter was just a trivial effort for him.

On the contrary, Guinaifen seemed to hold him in overly high regard.

”No problem.” Xia Wen straightened his jacket and nodded at Guinaifen.

At the critical moment, the boss saved her dignity, exuding an air of confidence and reassurance.

”Thank you, boss! The boss is so generous!”

Guinaifen cheered excitedly, immediately aiming the camera at the two of them. Then she smugly told the fans, ”See? I wasn’t bragging!”

However, the fans no longer cared about Guinaifen.

The moment Xia Wen appeared on camera, the spotlight shifted entirely to him.

The live chat exploded!

...

: OMG, OMG, OMG! Xia Wen! It’s really Xia Wen!

: Oh my god, this is probably Xia Wen’s first public appearance, right? The last time was in that Kafka commercial.

: Is it possible? Could this really be the day I’m spared from using a shield?

: Xia Wen! OMG, you’re so handsome! So incredibly handsome, I love you, Xia Wen!

: Xia Wen, I want to be your dog! Let me join Star Rail! I can even play Peppy!

...

”Being a dog is out of the question, but as for acting, I’ll think about it.” Xia Wen was amused by the live chat and teased with a lighthearted response.

The audience, thrilled to receive a reply from him, could hardly contain their excitement.

The livestream chat went completely wild.

Messages, paid comments, and various stickers were flooding in, refreshing so quickly it was dizzying.

”You’re all typing way too fast. Alright, I’ll have Guinaifen pick out a few valuable questions from the comments for me to answer.”

Xia Wen said with a faint smile.

Guinaifen immediately began sorting through the messages.

Before long, two questions were selected.

The first question was related to the company’s future related.

”Xia Wen, MiHoYo has an unprecedented influence right now. What are the company’s future plans? And what are the criteria for selecting actors? Do ordinary people have a chance to join MiHoYo?”

This question was representative of what many wanted to know.

”In the future, more series will be released,” he replied.

”But Star Rail remains the top priority. We’ll address matters in the Penacony expansion gradually.”

”As for actors, there’s only one requirement: go with the flow. As long as someone fits, regardless of whether they’re professional actors or not, they can join MiHoYo.”

Xia Wen patiently explained this to the audience.

These remarks were likely to break the hearts of many actors in the global entertainment industry.

”Going with the flow” essentially meant there was no chance.

The second question came from a fan concerned about plot direction.

”Xia Wen, will there be heartbreaking moments AKA ’knives’ in the Penacony arc? What’s the tone of the story?”

Seeing this question, Xia Wen could hardly suppress a smile.

With a relaxed yet earnest expression, he said, ”The Penacony story will have no heartbreaking moments—watch with peace of mind. As for the tone, it’s something rarely seen in Star Rail so far: lighthearted, sunny, joyful, and uplifting.”

He wasn’t lying.

There really were no ”heartbreaking” moments—everything served the narrative.

How could such events be considered heartbreaking?

...

: That’s great! Now we can finally watch with ease!

: Thank you, Xia Wen, for showing mercy!

: So based on what you said, the Penacony story should be a classic, passionate tale, right?

: After all, lighthearted, sunny, and joyful vibes are a good sign!

...

Hearing such assurances directly from the head of MiHoYo, the audience finally felt at ease.

”With the boss’s guarantee, you can rest easy now! Ahem, let’s not bother the boss anymore. Little Guinaifen will perform a chest-smashing stunt for you all later!”

After the Q&A session, Guinaifen stopped bothering Xia Wen and put away her phone, leaving to attend to other tasks.

Once Guinaifen left, Ayaka, who had been nearby, covered her mouth to stifle a laugh.

”Boss, isn’t it bad to mislead such innocent fans? Soon, your words will be all over the internet.”

Xia Wen spread his hands innocently. ”The ending is indeed very positive and uplifting—no problem there.”

”As for my statements... Well, the world is tough, and people’s hearts can be unsteady. Let me reluctantly play the role of a teacher and teach the audience this little lesson.” After saying this, Xia Wen and Ayaka exchanged a knowing smile, both eagerly anticipating the fans’ reactions.

After all, the first episode was packed with explosive moments.

It would undoubtedly deliver a huge surprise to the unsuspecting fans.

In the days that followed, MiHoYo’s official website remained eerily quiet.

No new information was released.

The much-anticipated Myriad Celestia Trailer update was nowhere to be seen.

This was a stark contrast to the Xianzhou arc, which had been teased extensively.

Wouldn’t so many characters need proper setup beforehand?

Could Penacony’s story be fully fleshed out within the planned runtime?

These questions fueled endless discussion among fans every day.

Of course, the lack of new material only exacerbated the issue.

Fans camped out on the official website, refreshing madly, but two or three days passed with no updates.

The massive wave of content released earlier in the week had only heightened their expectations.

Each subsequent day became pure agony for them.

Finally, under the intense anticipation, Saturday arrived.

The first episode of the Penacony arc was about to go live!
