Now on the official website, PVs hardly need any guidance.

Even without the drama airing, there were already plenty of fans waiting here every day.

Especially after the end of the previous episode, everyone was going crazy waiting for the next PV.

At this point, within five minutes of the PV release.

The number of viewers on the official website surpassed 500,000 breaking another new record for Honkai: Star Rail!

As the first PV for Penacony, the Duke Ifrit’s debut was truly magnificent!

-------------------------------

Tens of millions of viewers eagerly anticipated.

As the video began, the logo of MiHoYo slowly appeared.

And this time, before the logo even fully appeared, the audience could hear a solemn and dignified voice.

”Penacony, Planet of Festivities”

”A cradle drowning in dreams,”

”a haven for the cowardly.”

As the words fell, a graceful melody began to play.

In a palace shrouded in firelight and gloom, the Duke of Ever Flame Mansion sat majestically on the throne.

Below him stood four distinct figures.

The Duke Inferno on the throne remained in his impeccably tailored suit, the firelight reflected beneath his monocle, focused on the flower in his hand.

He watched as the flame ignited the flower, then consumed the entire screen.

When the flames subsided, a massive clock was displayed, its hands engulfed in flames, frozen at twelve o’clock.

”The Family has summoned guests for its grand celebration.”

The Duke said calmly.

The music abruptly changed, a huge eye appeared on the screen, slowly lighting up in a golden color.

”The golden blood will flow from the Destruction”

”as an offering to them.”

”Children of the flame... this marks your rite of passage.”

Golden light began to flow, filling a mysterious, malevolent array.

At the center of the array, a grotesque creature with a shield-shaped head appeared.

The opening scene immediately ignited the excitement of all the viewers.

...

: Holy crap, this opening is off the charts!

: So cool!

: I love this! No need for illusions anymore!

: The Duke’s aura is overwhelming—music, design, art—I swear, calling him the pinnacle of villains isn’t an exaggeration.

: Ifrit’s aesthetics, though not humanoid, are reassuringly stunning.

: I want to join the Annihilation gang!

...

But this thrilling scene, which had fans raving, was just the appetizer.

On the screen, a burning eyeball, emitting eerie blue flames, floated in the air.

The abstract visuals, combined with the Duke’s words,

Filled the audience with a sense of mystery and overwhelming power that seemed to spill off the screen.

”Akash, I lit a fire in your eyes and showed you the music of the strings.”

”Serenade the celebration and hush the Harmony into muted awe.”

As the words ended,

A magnetic male voice responded ”It will be done, father.”

The eyeball with blue flames suddenly transformed into a golden apple, with purple hues.

In the surrounding black smoke, one side of the apple disintegrated into powder, revealing its core.

Where the core should have been, a row of spine-like structures appeared.

”Dubra, I set your form alight and taught you mastery of the blade.”

”Temper it with sulfur, maim the Elation,... ”

”...and let the performer’s blood and tears pour into the abyss.”

A cold, emotionless young girl’s voice replied, ”As you wish, father.”

...

: Declare war on Harmony! Declare war on Elation!

: This isn’t just naming factions; they’re directly challenging Aeons, declaring war on the Aeons!

: So wild, so wild! I love it!

: These charismatic yet domineering villains are just my cup of tea!

: Apart from the Duke, the other’s voices are incredibly captivating—I’m beyond excited!

: By the way, Aha must be laughing his head off now!

: Aha ”This person is too amusing; I’m cracking up!”

...

Successively declaring war against two Aeons,

Perfectly responding to the revelations of the major paths at the end of the last Chapter.

The audience was beyond exhilarated.

From the moment the Duke appeared, they thought the character was incredibly cool, but they hadn’t expected him to be not just cool, but audacious!

Audacious enough to challenge Aeons themselves!

The shock was far from over.

One after another, gears appeared on the screen, turning.

The background music rose with stirring war drums,

Making the audience feel as if they were witnessing a grand war and annihilation.

”Caterina, I kindled a flame in your heart and granted you blood of fire.”

”Use your wrath to shatter the Preservation’s sanctum and melt their gold to create a statue of our savior.”

A resolute and valiant voice responded loudly, ”You got it, old man!”

The rousing music was then overshadowed by a sorrowful yet determined violin tune.

A purple flower, constantly blooming and withering, was rooted in decayed soil, emitting a faint blue glow.

”And Constance, at last...”

”my most ambitious and exceptional child. There is nothing more to teach you.”

”Just remember... without Penacony’s midnight hour, strip away all they hold dear and leave naught but the remembrance’s tomb.”

At the very end.

The voice of the Duke Inferno was already extremely high-pitched.

On the throne, he spread his arms wide, and atop his pitch-black and sinister goat head, flames burned fiercely.

Yes, he’s a villain.

But in this PV, the style and coolness of the Duke Inferno is practically unmatched compared to the characters.

...

: Declaring war on Harmony Xipe, declaring war on Joyous Aha, declaring war on Preservation Qlipoth, declaring war on Memory Fuli!

: What kind of huge force declares war with a universal proclamation!

: Whoa, I is calling out the pros. I was wondering where this strong sense of déjà vu was coming from.

: But I have to say, it’s unexpectedly effective.

: I have a hunch that the first episode of Penacony might be a chaotic mess.

: Oh my, I thought declarations of war against two factions were absurd enough, but he actually wants to fight them all!

: The Archduke’s momentum is truly overwhelming.

...

Excited by the overly dramatic and awe-inspiring declaration of war, the audience eagerly continued watching.

”Haha, Hahahaha. She won’t be necessary; I can take them all alone.”

Wearing a military cap, clad in leather clothing, and stepping in high leather boots, Caterina made her entrance.

Her striking appearance immediately exuded an aura of coolness.

Especially with the studs on her outfit, which highlighted her rebellious spirit to the fullest.

”Caterina, a little pessimism might be wise...”

”What if we all end up dead?”

Dressed elegantly and with a seductive expression, Constance spoke softly.

”Shh... Since when have those on the Path of Destruction feared death?”

Akash, holding his cello, struck an artist’s pose.

Beside him, a small, adorable girl with an Eastern high hat and her hands clasped holding an apple whispered, ”Still, it is wise to plan ahead, Father.”

Before the sentence was finished, the word ”Father” completed.

The little girl’s entire body resembled a shattered doll, floating upwards from the ground.

Only then did the scene behind her come into view.

A ”spirit flame” draped in a large black robe loomed menacingly, while the little girl stood in front of it like a puppet on strings.

”What is our fallback if things become perilous?” Dubra’s real voice emerged, sounding like something no living being should possess.

”Fallback?” The Duke laughed as if he had heard a joke.

Step by step, he walked past his children, speaking slowly under their watchful gaze,

”Such a thing does not exist.”

”Destruction is brave and heroic.”

”To cling to life is to delay in cowardice.”

”Relish, Penacony, savor its invitation.”

”Prepare this beautiful dream to welcome its new master from Fetora.”

”- Ifrit, Duke Inferno”

”Ever Flame Mansion.”

The Archduke stood in the center with two of his children on either side.

His imposing stance, paired with his domineering words, perfectly fulfilled the audience’s fantasy of a villain for the Honkai Star Rail Penacony arc.

...

: He’s so cool, everyone. Originally, the coolest path was Hunt, but now it’s Destruction.

: You know, I’ve been a loyal fan of the Path of Destruction since before Honkai Star Rail was released. With this, I’m ecstatic.

: It’s amazing! Just a bit too short!

: Why wasn’t this part filmed in more detail? It’s not enough! Absolutely not enough! I want more!

: This is probably Honkai Star Rail’s most stylish villain yet, even surpassing Phantylia, who didn’t even get a dedicated Myriad Celestia Trailer.

: I never expected the first Myriad Celestia Trailer to belong to the Archduke. Truly deserving!

: From now on, I’m exclusively a fan of the Archduke.

: It’s only Tuesday, and I can’t take it anymore!

: Aaaaaah, the villains in Penacony are so cool! I can’t wait to see the Archduke’s performance in the upcoming storyline.

: Wait a minute, isn’t there one missing? Why didn’t he declare war on Hunt?

...

The barrage of comments almost covered the entire screen.

Many were dissatisfied with how short this Myriad Celestia Trailer was.

But in fact, the Duke Inferno and the Annihilation Gang deserved a dedicated Myriad Celestia Trailer for many ironic reasons.

The dramatic name of ”-A Night of Ever-Flame: Scene 33” already speaks volumes.

The more excited the fans became, the more anticipation they felt for the follow-up goat-headed character reveal.

This stark emotional contrast is bound to be a lasting topic.

And Tuesday’s surprises didn’t end there.

The PV of the Duke Inferno was merely an opening act.

....

”Hello, viewers, good afternoon, everyone!”

The PV ended, following it was Owlbert’s IPC news segment.

The adorable Owlbert politely greeted the audience and started this live broadcast.

Of course, the invited guest was still Sunday.

”The video of Ever-Flame Mansion just now almost gave me a heart attack,” Owlbert exclaimed.

”So intense! Penacony seems to be in danger! I wonder if anyone will step in to stop them.” Owlbert wiped imaginary sweat off his brow, but then his tone turned cheerful again.

”But no worries, with The Family involved, it shouldn’t be a big problem.”

”By the way, Mr. Sunday, could you introduce Penacony to the audience? It’s already right before our eyes.”

With that, Sunday began to gently explain some of Penacony’s history to the audience, emphasizing the role of the Oak Family.

He also highlighted Penacony’s bright future and casually mentioned The Family’s lineage.

For the audience, this kind of storytelling was very engaging.

...

After the introduction, Owlbert chimed in.

”The cosmic superstar Robin will also perform at the grand ceremony.”

”Viewers, you’re in for a treat. Not only that, there’s also new intel to share, and I’ll let Mr. Sunday explain it.”

Sunday smiled faintly and continued the introduction.

For once, his usually calm eyes showed a trace of genuine excitement and joy.

”My sister is none other than Miss Robin,” he revealed.

”She will release a brand-new solo album, Welcome To My World, shortly after the ceremony ends.”

”The album conveys Miss Robin’s hopes and emotions. I’m sure it will satisfy everyone.”

”I hope you’ll all support her.”

On the screen, a physical version of the album appeared.

Those who had already seen the previous broadcast naturally understood what this meant.

Another instance of a crossover between the virtual and real world!

The album that appears in the Honkai universe can also be purchased in reality.

...

: I’m going to buy out these albums!

: Ahhh, being a Honkai fan is pure happiness.

: Miss Robin looks so beautiful!

: I want to see Miss Robin’s elegant stage performance in Penacony!

: I’m looking forward to the superstar’s role in the new Chapter! It’s bound to be full of surprises!

: With miHoYo’s taste in music, what kind of achievements will its first pop album reach? I can’t even begin to imagine.

...

Next up, the surprises in the livestream kept coming.

Ratio made an appearance, sharing his long-prepared plans with the audience.

Free concert tickets could be won! And even more rewards. Free, completely free!!

What kind of person is this? More like a godfather, indeed!

But just as the screen was filled with the nickname ”godfather,” Ratio’s next words sent everyone into fits of laughter.

For students who hadn’t finished their studies, it was simply too much.

At this point, who knows how many students truly transformed into gods of death, ready to betray Ratio.

The barrage of jokes in the chat was endless.

But everyone understood that participating or not wouldn’t affect their chance to get free tickets.

This method and approach further enriched Ratio’s personality and made his quirks more endearing.

And so, under the impact of successive surprises, time flew during the livestream.

Before long, it was nearing the end.

After Owlbert said goodbye to everyone, the screen momentarily fell into a brief darkness.

...

: Ahhh, that was too short.

: Four more days! I can’t handle this.

: Ratio and Robin’s activities—miHoYo really went all out for Penacony.

: How am I supposed to endure tonight?

: Wait, isn’t there a master as well?

: Huh?

...

Just as fans were reluctant to leave, after a brief blackout, a playful whistle sounded, signaling the start of a new video.

The audience had no idea that this short PV would make this day a global sleepless night!
