Abandoned Woman Busy Farming

Chapter 659: Chapter 662: Tempting One’s Own Wife

Jiang Yichun dared not mention that Bai Ruozhu was the only one in his heart, afraid that his enraged master might blame her and even cause her trouble.

It took a while for Wu Yunfeng to digest what he had just been told. He murmured to himself, saying, ”That’s impossible. Wanqing is my daughter, and I know her temperament. If she didn’t choose you in the first place, she wouldn’t easily change her mind.”

Jiang Yichun felt a chill in his heart. He used to be proud and comforted by his master’s protective nature, especially towards him and his two fellow apprentices. However, he now realized that this shielding was conditional and would change depending on the person.

Now, his master was fully protective of his apprentice sister, and whatever he said was considered nonsensical words.

He laughed sardonically and didn’t want to say more.

After a while, Wu Yunfeng recovered and said, ”I will ask Wanqing about this. You go and rest first. Also, keep an eye on Zhou Jue’s matter, we are waiting for him to fall into our trap.”

Jiang Yichun nodded slightly but felt uncomfortable. Fishing involves baiting, and Zhou Jue would only take the bait if someone baited him. But that bait was his woman, how could he put her at ease? And how could he feel comfortable?

After Jiang Yichun left, Wu Yunfeng went to Wu Wanqing’s room. Wu Wanqing was still looking weary from the injury. Wu Yunfeng sighed and couldn’t help but feel pity for his daughter.

”Qingqing, your father only ever loved your mother. Even after her early death, I never remarried and had only you as my daughter. I never thought you would have to inherit my mantle, nor did I want you to feel any pressure. I just wanted you to marry a reliable man and live happily without worries,” Wu Yunfeng spoke with some sentiment.

Wu Wanqing’s expression changed slightly and she seemed to be thinking about something. But soon she took on a look of sadness and said, ”It’s my ill fate. I married my elder martial brother, but he died early, leaving me alone and destitute.”

”You are still young, there will be many opportunities in the future,” Wu Yunfeng said.

He quietly looked at his daughter and asked, ”Your feelings for Yichun are different. Do you have any thoughts now?”

Wu Wanqing, after all, was a girl. She showed a shy look and responded, ”Dad, what are you talking about? He can’t tolerate me at all now, all because he has been charmed by that Bai Ruozhu.”

Wu Yunfeng’s heart sank to the bottom. His daughter still had feelings for Jiang Yichun, but he had watched that lad grow up and knew that he wouldn’t change his mind. Even if he were to be forced to break up with Bai Ruozhu, he wouldn’t treat Wanqing well in the future. Instead, it would turn into a feud.

Thinking of this, Wu Yunfeng made up his mind. He naturally wanted to protect his daughter but he felt it’s better for her to leave this place. On one hand, she could recover from her injuries in peace, on the other hand, he hoped she would let go of her obsession.

...

Bai Ruozhu had finally managed to put Dengdeng to sleep at home, but she was worried. Although Jiang Yichun wasn’t to blame for what had happened, family ties often prevailed over reason, and she was afraid that his master would punish him.

When Jiang Yichun returned, she anxiously rushed to meet him and scrutinized him from head to toe. It wasn’t until she saw he was unharmed that she finally breathed a sigh of relief.

However, she was still worried and asked, ”Are you okay? Your master didn’t give you a hard time, did he?”

Jiang Yichun was originally in a bad mood, but seeing Bai Ruozhu caring for him like this instantly boosted his spirits.

A smile flashed in his eyes, ”Why are you so worried about me?”

Bai Ruozhu unconsciously looked around and, seeing no one else in the yard, glared at him in annoyance and said, ”Don’t tease me. If I had known, I wouldn’t have worried for no reason.”

Jiang Yichun couldn’t help but smile at her response. He took Bai Ruozhu’s hand and said, ”My dear, my knees are swollen from kneeling down. You need to massage them for me.”

Upon hearing the word ”kneeling”, Bai Ruozhu’s heart tightened and she quickly asked, ”What did your master say?”

”If you massage my knees, I’ll tell you,” Jiang Yichun teased.

Bai Ruozhu looked around the yard again. She thought this guy was incredibly skiving — he wanted the whole yard to witness this.

”Let’s go inside and talk!” She blushed and went back to the room first, with a deviously grinning Jiang Yichun following closely behind.

In the room, Dengdeng was asleep after crying himself tired. Jiang Yichun entered the room, looked at his beloved son, and cried out, ”Why are Dengdeng’s eyes swollen?”

”That’s your fault! You always hold him, so now he’s very clingy. As soon as you go, he breaks out crying and can’t be comforted no matter what!”” Bai Ruozhu grumbled, grinding her teeth.

On hearing this, Jiang Yichun felt both overjoyed and distressed for his son. He marveled at the magical bond of blood. He never thought he’d have a child, and he never expected that even without constant interaction, he would be incredibly close with his son.

”Then I’ll hold him less in the future,” Jiang Yichun said, rubbing his nose. He remembered the rule that fathers shouldn’t hold their sons too often, and figured he’d better pay more attention to that.

After a few more words, Jiang Yichun had already sat on the bed’s edge. He rolled up his trouser leg and said to Bai Ruozhu, ”Aren’t you going to massage my knee?”

Bai Ruozhu glanced at his knee and saw that it did seem to be a bit red. She knew he felt wronged, sighed, and turned to get some ointment from the cabinet, saying, ”I’ll apply some medicine for you.”

”Sounds good,” Jiang Yichun replied with a grin. Applying medicine also entailed touching, which was something to look forward to.

Bai Ruozhu used her slender fingers to scoop out a bit of ointment and gently applied it to his knee, her jade-like hand gently massaging it.

Jiang Yichun’s eyes darkened, a storm brewing in their depths. He hadn’t touched her for a long time!

With this thought, he couldn’t help but play with a lock of her hair, his voice suggesting, ”I also got hit on the butt, you need to massage it for me too.”

Bai Ruozhu was immediately reminded of a time they went to the Hot Spring Mansion, when she accidentally caught a glimpse of his bare back. Drops of water trickled down his sexy buttocks — a sight she could never forget as it had electrified her senses.

Thinking of this, her mouth became dry and her body started to feel hot. Jiang Yichun, who was close to her side, was getting closer with his hot breath spraying on her hair.

Jiang Yichun definitely heard her swallow. He was in high spirits, sure that his strategy of constantly seducing his wife was correct. He wanted to make her want to pounce on him whenever she saw him...

Jiang Yichun felt certain that the future was going to be wonderful.

”Ruozhu, don’t you believe me? Touch it, it’s swollen,” Jiang Yichun continued to flirt with Bai Ruozhu. Seizing the opportunity when she was momentarily absent-minded, he took her hand and placed it on his butt.

Bai Ruozhu’s hand immediately jerked back as if it had been scalded. But the touch, the elasticity, all had a profound impact on her. Consequently, she unconsciously swallowed again...
