Royal Secret: I'm A Princess!

AS SOON as Neoma’s feet landed on the snow-covered ground, her eyes immediately searched for Lewis.

Yes, she didn’t return alone.

Hanna and Lewis came back with her.

Lord Manu went to the temple to recover.

Hence, only Neoma and the two had returned to the palace.

”Neoma.”

”My Baby Muffin.”

Neoma smiled at her father and mother’s greetings. ”Mama Boss, Papa Boss, I’m back.”

And her parents welcomed her with a warm hug.

On the other hand, Nero just looked at her from head to toe as if checking if she were fine.

Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Neoma grabbed Nero by the arm and forced her brother to join their family hug.

Of course, his twin brother only pretended that it was a bother for a moment.

Nero completely melted into their family hug almost immediately.

Aww.

I’m really back.

Unfortunately, Neoma needed to get back to work.

She saw how confused and devastated Lewis looked while looking at the ice statues of the frozen Silver Foxes.

”My beloved family, let me work first.”

Her parents both sighed before letting her go.

On the other hand, Nero didn’t react as if he already knew that Neoma would get back to work as soon as she returned.

But someone was missing there.

”Trevor,” Neoma called out loud. ”Come out.”

There was silence for a moment.

Then the sound as if the sky was being torn apart like a piece of paper echoed in her ears.

The next thing she knew, Trevor had already appeared right in front of her— grinning like the scoundrel that he was, as always.

Of course, she wasn’t surprised.

This dude ”cuts” space when using his teleportation skills.

”You called, my Moon Princess?”

”Yes, and you know why I called you,” Neoma said, tilting her head to the side in an attempt to subtly point at the ice statues. ”Can I use my flame to melt the ice?”

Trevor smiled and nodded. ”Of course, Princess Neoma. And that’s exactly why I’m waiting for you to return.”

”Then you should have told us that we need Neoma’s flame to melt the ice,” Nero said while glaring at Trevor. ”You never explain things properly, you crooked Sorcerer.”

”I just don’t feel the need to explain to you,” Trevor said, speaking rudely to the emperor. ”You’re not my Moon Princess, and you’re not the master I serve either.”

Nero looked like he was about to retort.

But, by then, Neoma had already snapped her fingers— causing everyone to shut up and pay attention to her.

”Tteokbokki, come out and play.”

Ah, finally.

Neoma couldn’t help but smile when she had finally summoned her most favorite Spirit, the little brother that she liked ”bullying.”

And her smile grew wider when Tteokbokki appeared in his huge dragon form.

She looked up after a huge shadow cast over them.

”What do you want me to do, thug princess?”

”Melt the ice statues,” Neoma said firmly. ”Use your flame carefully, Tteokbokki.”

***

IT ONLY took Tteokbokki a moment to melt the ice statues.

After doing his job, the dragon returned to its ”baby size,” and then he landed on Neoma’s shoulder while watching the ice melt.

Bit by bit, the frozen Silver Foxes came back to life.

Her gaze then shifted to Lewis.

Like Neoma, she noticed that Hanna was also watching his reaction carefully.

Lewis had a poker face as usual.

However...

I can tell that my son is confused and nervous. He probably has many questions for me, but he refrains from asking because he believes that I’ll tell him everything later.

And that was the plan.

”Ah, they’re free,” Nero commented indifferently. ”It’s amazing how they look like they’ve just woken up from a nap.”

Duh.

Obviously, time had stopped for the Silver Foxes— and they didn’t know that.

Hence...

”DE MOONASTERIOS!”

Aigoo.

Neoma forgot that the Silver Foxes had a deep grudge against the Imperial Family.

And rightfully so.

The Silver Foxes looked confused at first, but the confusion ended after their eyes landed on Neoma, Nero, and her Papa Boss.

Anger immediately crossed the Silver Foxes’ eyes.

And then they charged at the de Moonasterios.

Nero just sighed before summong Sev, his Soul Beast.

The ice wolf jumped at the two Silver Foxes who tried to attack him.

Two of his Papa Boss’ Soul Beasts— Noth, the Black Tortoise Center, the Black Serpent— appeared and created a barrier around Papa Boss and Mama Boss to block the Silver Foxes who attacked her parents in every direction.

Wow.

They really want to kill Papa Boss— probably because they think Papa Boss is my grandfather.

Yes, Neoma had time to worry about her family despite being attacked.

She didn’t have to lift a finger.

Tteokbooki, Trevor, and Hanna were there to protect her.

And, of course...

Lewis growled at the huge male Silver Fox, seemingly the leader, who tried to attack Neoma.

The clan leader looked surprised after seeing Lewis.

”You’re one of us,” the Silver Fox said, confused. ”Why are you protecting a de Moonasterio? Have you betrayed your own kind to serve the evil Imperial Family?”

Aigoo.

It’s been a while since I’ve heard someone insult our family directly.

It was refreshing, but Neoma really didn’t have the luxury to enjoy the moment because she could see that Lewis was in a difficult position.

Yeah, I should have probably explained the situation first.

Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Neoma clapped her hands once, successfully catching everyone’s attention. ”Esteemed Silver Foxes, please calm down for a moment.”

Of course, there was no way the Silver Foxes would obey a de Moonasterio like her.

Hence, she was forced to use a bit of force.

”Argh!”

The Silver Foxes fell down to their knees one by one while clutching their throats as if they couldn’t breathe.

Yes, Neoma adjusted the amount of Mana circulating inside her Dome to do that.

Lewis looked at her, silently asking why she was doing that.

”I’m not going to kill your clan members, so calm down, Lewis,” Neoma assured her ’son,’ and then she looked at the Silver Foxes around her. ”Esteemed Silver Foxes, you have been frozen as ice statues for a very long time— the old emperor is dead.”
