Royal Secret: I'm A Princess!

”SCARED, Your Imperial Majesty?”

Nero shot Trevor Kesser a cold look.

It was true that he was stunned by the presence of the frozen Silver Foxes. But that didn’t mean he was scared.

Hence, he didn’t like the Sorcerer’s teasing.

Not that I’ve liked anything that had come out of that bastard’s mouth.

”Alright, I’ll keep my mouth shut now,” Trevor said, and the bastard even had the guts to act like he was zipping his mouth. ”Thank you for your help, Your Imperial Majesty.”

”I don’t need your thanks,” Nero said, scoffing. ”So, what do we do next? How do we thaw the ice statues?”

”We need the breath of a living Silver Fox.”

Ah, then...

”Lewis is the key,” his mother said while nodding. ”But Lewis isn’t here yet. Will the ice statues be fine even after we leave it for a while?”

”I think so, ma’am,” Trevor Kesser answered politely. ”His Imperial Majesty’s ice would prevent the statues from melting or breaking.”

”What’s the key for if it’s not enough to thaw the ice?” his father asked, scoffing. ”How complicated.”

”Of course, it’s complicated, my love. They froze themselves to protect their clan from being extinct, after all,” his mother said, touching his father’s arm as if to calm him down. ”We should be grateful that we found the ice statues this time. I don’t think we had found them in the original timeline.”

Ah, that was right.

Nero didn’t remember the Silver Fox Clan coming back in the original timeline.

Lewis was the only Silver Fox that I had known in the original timeline until the day I died.

And, speaking of Lewis...

”Do you know when Neoma and the others would return?” Nero asked Trevor Kesser. He actually didn’t want to talk to the annoying Sorcerer, but he had no choice. ”I thought they’d be returning around this time.”

”Well, Princess Neoma is the most unpredictable person ever,” Trevor Kesser said with a chuckle. ”Who knows? Maybe the Moon Princess has found something interesting in the Dead World, and that’s enough for her to delay her return.”

To be honest, that sounded like something his twin sister would definitely do.

I just hope Neoma hasn’t forgotten that we have a schedule to follow.

”Ah, Your Imperial Majesty. There’s something else I need to do while I’m here,” Trevor Kesser said, looking at Nero with a slightly more serious aura now. ”I need to talk to Dahlia.”

Nero furrowed his brows. ”And why do you need to talk to her?”

”Uh, do I need your permission, Your Imperial Majesty?”

Nero was about to answer ’of course,’ but he stopped when his parents turned to him at the same time. Moreover, he realized that he was acting so controlling over someone who didn’t belong to him.

He may be the emperor.

But that didn’t mean he owned everything and everyone in the empire.

It was a lesson that he had already learned the hard way in the original timeline.

”I’ll summon Dahlia,” Nero said, avoiding everyone’s gazes. ”She should be free to meet you, Trevor Kesser.”

”ARE YOU really leaving, Moon Princess?”

Argh.

Neoma wanted to be kind to the Trevor of the Dead World, but the damned Sorcerer was making it hard for her to do so.

Trevor had been literally clinging to her legs, acting so pathetic.

It didn’t suit his status as a Sorcerer.

”Princess Neoma, should I get rid of that thing?” Lewis, the one from her current timeline, asked while looking at Trevor coldly. ”I can even kill him for you if you want, Your Imperial Highness.”

Pfft.

It was weird for Lewis to address Neoma so formally.

But she understood why her ’son’ was acting that way.

He’s just doing her work as my Knight Guardian.

”It’s alright, Lewis,” Neoma said while waving her hand. ”I can deal with this fool on my own.”

After saying that, she made her body temperature rise until her skin was hot enough for Trevor to finally let go of her.

And it worked.

”Hot! Hot! Hot!”

Heh.

Neoma smirked when Trevor finally got away from her before he turned into a crispy Sorcerer.

It’s about time we stop playing.

”Trevor Kesser, Lu, Oirate Princess,” Neoma said, addressing the people from the Dead World who had been a huge help to them while they were there. She had a lot of things she wanted to say to them. However, she decided to keep it sweet and short. After all, she hated saying goodbye. ”I don’t know if we’ll meet again, but I’ll find a way to let you know once I become the empress of my world.”

AFTER NERO left Trevor and Dahlia to talk, he found himself with Commander Ruto Solfrid.

Tsk.

Why do I keep bumping into Neoma’s men?

”Your Imperial Majesty, get ready,” Commander Ruto Solfrid said in a calm yet urgent tone. ”We’re about to be ambushed.”

”Excuse me?”

”The crows have heard about the arrival of the ice statues of the Silver Fox Clan here at the palace.”

Nero wanted to ask the commander how he found out about it in the first place.

However, he realized he didn’t have time to waste when he saw the sky suddenly turn black.

It wasn’t because the clouds had darkened, but because the sky was now full of black crows headed in one direction.

Tsk!

It was obvious that the crows were headed to the frozen field where he left the ice statues.

Nero cursed under his breath. ”Damn crows.”

WHEN NERO returned to the frozen field, he was surprised to see that his parents were already there.

And when he looked up, he clicked his tongue when he saw the cracks in the barrier.

Yes, the powerful barrier around the Imperial Palace was starting to crack as the crows attacked it at the same time.

Of course, those crows weren’t ordinary crows.

This is the first time the barrier has cracked this much...

”Who the fuck dares to break the barrier that my favorite aunt created?”

Huh?

That familiar voice and that filthy mouth...

Nero and his parents raised their heads at the same time, and he was pretty sure that the three of them smiled at the same time, too.

The person glaring at the crows with such arrogance...

The person holding that scythe with a ridiculous color...

The person who kept cursing in different languages.

And the person loved by everyone there.

”Welcome back, Neoma.”
