Royal Secret: I'm A Princess!

NEOMA raised an eyebrow while observing Lewis approach Hanna.

She could practically see her ’son’ suddenly having dog ears and a wagging tail.

Yes, Lewis may look stoic as usual.

But he’s my son, so I can see the sparkle in his eyes.

In short, Lewis was excited.

What’s happening here?

Neoma let out a gasp and whispered to herself. ”Does Lewis have a crush on Hanna?”

”You just noticed it now?”

Omo!

Neoma was startled because she forgot that Lu, the Dear World’s Lewis, was standing next to her.

Yes, admittedly, she lowered her guard because she was surrounded by people she loved.

And I’m confident Lu can’t kill me, even if he tries.

Anyway, that wasn’t what was important at the moment.

”You think my ’son’ has a crush on Hanna?”

”Who’s your son?”

”Lewis.”

Lu gave him a bewildered look. ”How did that person become your son? Are you my mother in that world?”

Pfft.

Neoma found it funny how confused Lu looked.

Should I tease him?

”Yes, I gave birth to Lewis in the other world.”

Lu gasped, obviously horrified by Neoma’s lie.

Looking at Lu’s reaction made her laugh out loud.

And that was when the boy realized that she was trolling.

”You’re so mean, Your Royal Highness.”

Neoma stopped laughing, raising an eyebrow. ”Why are you calling me by that title?”

”You are Prince Nero’s twin sister, after all.”

Haaah.

The coincidence was quite funny.

Even in the other world, Lewis is the only person I didn’t allow to call me by my name.

Back then, Neoma needed Lewis to call her a princess as a reminder of her place in the empire.

Should I take that back?

”Are you happy serving Nero?”

”I’m not sure what happiness means when you live knowing you can anytime for the person you’re serving.”

”Well, the fact that you’re speaking well means Nero is taking good care of you,” Neoma said, raising her hand to pat Lu on the head. When Lu didn’t flinch, she gently patted his head— her palm barely touching his hair. ”And you don’t seem to hate physical touch.”

”I hate it.”

”Oh.”

Neoma was about to drop her hand, but Lu suddenly spoke again.

”But if it’s you, then it’s fine,” Lu said. ”I can tell that you’re not going to hurt me anyway.”

Aww.

”Don’t trust me too much.”

”I want to.”

Neoma raised an eyebrow and joked: ”If you trust me that much, then tell me where the surviving Silver Fox Clan members were hidden.”

”In the heart of Hazelden Kingdom.”

”Excuse me?”

”They were in the heart of the Hazelden Kingdom when we discovered them,” Lu said bluntly. ”However, they weren’t in good condition back then. Since it seems like you’ve changed a lot of things in your world, I wonder if my clan members can still be saved.”

Right.

Many things had already changed.

Moreover, I’ve also changed a lot of things in Hazelden Kingdom.

And that got Neoma worried.

I hope it doesn’t backfire on me.

”DADDY, we should return to the kingdom now.”

Hmm?

Glenn was taking care of Brigitte and their newly born baby girl when Monika, their daughter, suddenly grabbed him by the hand.

Monika’s eyes were glowing.

Ah, my daughter has received a vision.

”What did you see, sweetheart?” Brigitte asked worriedly while breastfeeding Selene— their youngest child. ”Is there something bad happening to our kingdom?”

Monika’s eyes stopped glowing.

When her eyes returned to normal, their daughter shook her head.

”A treasure has emerged in our kingdom, Daddy, Mommy,” Monika said, her face beaming. ”We should get it before someone else does.”

”What kind of treasure?” Glenn asked curiously. ”Is it going to help us win the war?”

”I think so, Daddy,” Monika said while nodding. ”Ah, we should leave Skyler here since his prayers are needed in the Imperial Capital. Claude should also remain here.”

Claude was actually with Glenn’s father.

Our Claude seems to be fond of his grandfather.

”Mommy and Selene should stay here, too,” Monika said. ”Don’t worry, Mommy. Daddy and I will return safely.”

Brigitte looked relieved by that assurance, and then he looked at Glenn. ”Take care, dear. And please protect our daughter.”

”I will, honey,” Glenn said, smiling. ”We’ll return soon.”

[In the present world...]

OH, THEY’RE running away?

Trevor raised an eyebrow when the soldiers who acted like they were about to invade Hazelden Kingdom suddenly withdrew.

Emperor Nero probably dealt with the problem in the main palace.

Good for him— he didn’t have to fight.

”Trevor, is everything alright?”

Oh?

Trevor was surprised when the king, Glenn, had returned to Hazel Kingdom with Monika, the oldest princess.

Hmm.

It seems like something is happening.

”The enemies have withdrawn, Your Majesty,” Trevor said politely. ”I don’t think it’s wise to chase after them, so I didn’t mobilize your troops.”

Monika nodded. ”You did well, Uncle Trevor.”

”Little princess, why am I an ’uncle?’ You can call me ’big brother.’”

”You’re too old for that, Uncle.”

Ouch.

Trevor’s feelings were a little hurt, but he couldn’t deny that.

”I apologize for my daughter’s bluntness,” Glenn said, but the king was smiling. Then His Majesty quickly changed the topic. ”Lord Trevor, my daughter and I need your help. Apparently, a treasure has appeared in our kingdom.”

”Oh, a treasure, huh?” Trevor asked, beaming. ”I like treasure hunting.”

IT WAS a small mountain covered in snow.

Glenn was wondering if Monika had brought them to the right place.

It wasn’t like he was doubting his daughter’s vision.

However...

”My wife and I have trained here before,” Glenn said out loud. ”But there’s nothing in here...”

He trailed off when he saw what his daughter did next.

Monika placed her hands on the ground, making it shake after a few seconds.

Glenn was both shocked and a little nervous.

Okay, what’s happening now?
