Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

The squad leader and deputy squad leader were elated. The basic training of the army and the air force was the same. So, Ye Jian would strengthen the basic training of the female soldiers. This was the best arrangement.

Then, Ye Jian told the two of them that from tomorrow onward, the female soldiers would no longer train alone. Instead, they would train with the male soldiers. The female soldiers also needed to complete the training that the male soldiers needed to complete.

In other words, from tomorrow onward, all the female soldiers would officially enter the special reconnaissance training. Their good days would end completely.

After the first five kilometers, the three of them split up. Ye Jian took the lead.

The tenth kilometer was completed… Then, the 15th kilometer was completed. After reaching the midway point, it was time to rest. Ye Jian turned around and looked at the female soldiers who were walking slower and slower. She stopped in her tracks and picked up a rock that was slightly flat.

If she continued walking, the female soldiers would definitely grit their teeth and follow her closely. They wouldn’t let themselves lose again.

Looking at the time it took to complete the 15 kilometers, Ye Jian smiled slightly. Not bad. She looked up at the female soldiers who had stopped and were looking to sit down. They were very tired and had used up a lot of energy. However, they still sat upright and didn’t look tired. It could be seen that their stamina was very good.

Not bad. If they trained harder, they would see loads of improvement.

The female soldiers who sat down actually wanted to sit next to Ye Jian. However, when they thought about what they had done to her in the past, they felt too embarrassed to go over. In the end, Lu Hui was the first to walk toward Ye Jian. Guo Cui followed her.

Ye Jian looked at the two people walking over and smiled slightly, instantly blowing away the nervousness in Guo Cui’s heart.

She pursed her lips and smiled at Ye Jian. Then, she quickened her pace.

Lu Hui ran even faster. She had something serious to say to Lieutenant Ye!

”Are you tired?” Ye Jian didn’t get up as she asked the two people who were getting closer and closer to her. ”You only have five minutes to rest. I suggest that the two of you take this time to sit down and rest for a while.”

There was only a five-minute break?

Didn’t they have ten minutes of break in the past?

The two people who received the news didn’t ask because that was in the past.

Lu Hui sat down and looked at Ye Jian seriously. ”Lieutenant Ye, do you still remember our bet? I said that if you surpassed me one day, I’d definitely kneel and admit my mistake.

”I might be annoying, but I’ll never regret what I say, let alone break my promise. In the past, I targeted you and ostracized you, but I don’t regret it. It’s the same with the bet I made. I won’t break my promise. I’ll wait for you to surpass me.”

Wait for Ye Jian to surpass her? Ye Jian smiled playfully. ”Aren’t you afraid that I’ve already surpassed you?”

”I’m not afraid. If you’ve already surpassed me, I’ll kneel and apologize to you now. But you’ve only surpassed me in basic training. We’re in the air force. There is a lot of technical training. I don’t believe that you’ve surpassed me completely.”

Lu Hui was very confident in herself.

Ye Jian smiled, but she felt a little embarrassed. Lu Hui might really have to kneel to her and admit her mistake, then.

”You don’t believe that I’ve surpassed you? That’s alright. You’ve been an airborne soldier for two and a half years, while I’ve only been here for half a year. It’s indeed difficult for me to surpass you. It looks like I have to work hard and surpass you as soon as possible.”

”You can work hard, and I will work hard too. A soldier will never admit defeat easily!” Lu Hui had a serious expression on her face. The unwillingness to admit defeat in her eyes made Ye Jian purse her lips and smile.

Lu Hui had a sharp tongue, but it was undeniable that she was outstanding.

”In that case, let’s work hard together.” Ye Jian smiled.

Her smile was brighter than the sun, but it made Lu Hui shiver. Why did she feel that something was wrong?
