Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Actually, that wasn’t the case. Sometimes, she felt that time passed exceptionally slowly. Most of the time, it was when she missed Captain Xia. However, it didn’t happen as often this time. The mission was heavy, and she was focused on returning to the team as soon as possible. She didn’t have much time for romance.

In the blink of an eye, she hadn’t seen Captain Xia for six and a half months.

They said their goodbyes at the end of spring, and now, it was autumn.

”Commander Kong has been waiting for this day too. He hopes that you can dampen the morale of the female soldiers in the next few days. Then, you can suppress them in all aspects and bring out all the potential of the female soldiers.

”Although our country already has a female airborne team, it’s still lacking. Compared to the Western countries, our air force’s special forces are still lacking. We have to continue expanding the special forces. This new force is our second female airborne team. The higher-ups have high hopes.”

In the early 1990s, the first female airborne unit of the country was established. In 1995, this female airborne unit appeared in front of more than 20 military officers stationed in China and underwent military training. Captain Lei, who had been in the military for nearly ten years, was fortunate enough to witness it. Even though many years had passed, the memory was still fresh.

Ye Jian didn’t understand, so Captain Lei started talking about the past. ”Several types of skydivers were able to control the parachutes to land accurately at the center point, without deviation of half a centimeter. In the live-fire shooting, they used automatic rifles, semi-automatic rifles, submachine guns, heavy machine guns, and light machine guns to hit balloons in the air within 200 meters, and all hit the target with the first shot.

”They shot at 40 targets of seven types at different distances, and every bullet hit the target. Not a single bullet was deflected. It was truly the most spirited military training performance I have ever seen, and I’ll never have the chance to see it again.

”Also, they’re the first female soldiers in the history of our military to complete the double experiment of parachuting new paratroopers from our country’s newly developed large transport plane. They’re heroines!”

This was the first time Ye Jian knew about this. When she heard all that, her eyes lit up. As soon as Captain Lei finished speaking, she exclaimed, ”If there’s a chance, I really want to see them.”

As soon as she finished speaking, Captain Lei smiled mysteriously and leaned over. ”You want to see them? That’s quite easy. If you join our air force, I’ll immediately report your wants to Commander Kong. Believe me, you’ll definitely be able to see them in less than half a month.”

He was luring Ye Jian into joining the air force.

Fortunately, Ye Jian’s mind was stable. She was a loyal person. In the face of temptation and resistance, she smiled. ”Forget it. I’m just fascinated.”

”Why stay fascinated? You have the chance to actually see them!”

”Fascination keeps things more mysterious. I prefer mystery.” She shook her head firmly.

Captain Lei looked at her for a while and retracted his gaze silently. ”What a stubborn person. No matter what you say, it won’t make sense to me.” He then thought to himself, ’Commander, I’m sorry. I’ve tried to lure Ye Jian into the airborne military unit many times in the past half a year, but I failed. This time, I failed again.’

He paused for a moment before continuing, ”What kind of magic does the military unit you’re going to have to make you so loyal? Our company is really not bad. I’m not boasting, but special reconnaissance soldiers are really sharp soldiers of the military unit. Why can’t we attract you?”

That was strange. Why was a military unit that she had never been to so attractive to her?

Ye Jian hugged her gun and thought for a moment. She smiled and said, ”I like the army because my parents are from the army.”

The reason was 100% correct. Captain Lei couldn’t refute it. He could only apologize to Commander Kong in his heart again.
