Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Lu Hui’s smile wasn’t provocative. It was more like she was challenging Ye Jian directly. This was the most common occurrence in the military unit. If someone didn’t respect another, they would issue a challenge to test their capabilities.

If the person who issued the challenge lost, they would not cause any more trouble in the future.

This was probably what Lu Hui had in mind.

Was she very powerful?

Hahaha…

She had already surpassed the squad leader and deputy squad leader. Could Ye Jian complete all the subjects alone? It was fine if it was just one subject, but how could Ye Jian take on a two-person task alone?

It would be strange if she could complete it!

The squad leader saw Lu Hui’s smile. When the next team of female soldiers started, she walked to Ye Jian’s side and confirmed again, ”Do you really plan to complete it alone? Won’t you consider me? Maybe the deputy squad leader?”

In the past, Ye Jian had always come last, and all the female soldiers were used to it. However, the current Ye Jian was different from the past. She was a lieutenant of a company. If she lost too quickly, the soldiers would look down on her.

They already looked down on her. If she lost again, they would really look down on her from the bottom of their hearts. They wouldn’t take a lieutenant like her seriously.

The squad leader reminded her out of kindness. Ye Jian, who was still smiling, shook her head. ”No need. I want to try doing it alone. It doesn’t matter if I succeed or not. I just want to try.”

It didn’t matter if she succeeded or not. The main thing was to try… If she embarrassed herself later, everyone would look down on her. The squad leader felt that she herself couldn’t do it. She didn’t have a strong mentality like Ye Jian.

The squad leader heaved a sigh of relief and nodded. ”Okay, try it, then. If you really lose, so be it. Everyone knows how hard it is anyway. It doesn’t matter if you lose. Just bear with it.”

She looked up at Lu Hui who was standing in front of her. The squad leader lowered her voice and said helplessly, ”Lu Hui is just like that. She doesn’t have any evil intentions. She’s not a bad person. She just has a sharp mouth.”

She was worried that Ye Jian would cause trouble for Lu Hui in the future. It was easy for a lieutenant to make things difficult for a mere soldier.

Moreover, Ye Jian joined the unit secretly. They didn’t know, but Captain Lei must have known. If anything happened, Captain Lei would definitely stand on Ye Jian’s side.

The squad leader liked Lu Hui, so she had to protect her.

Ye Jian knew that the squad leader was putting in a lot of effort. Ye Jian had never thought of making things difficult for Lu Hui.

She wouldn’t make things difficult for each soldier individually. Ye Jian would only make things difficult for everyone collectively. Yes, she would use her capabilities to make things difficult for them.

That was Commander Kong’s order.

It was the duty of soldiers to obey orders. She had no other choice. She had to obey!

She was now the whittling knife in Commander Kong’s hands. Not only did she have to blunt the pride of the female soldiers, but she also had to stab them at some point to teach them a lesson.

”Rest assured, squad leader. I’m not that narrow-minded. I know that Lu Hui is not a bad person. She just has a sharp tongue. I also know that she has the guts. She’s a good talent. If not, she wouldn’t have been chosen to enter the special reconnaissance company of the airborne forces.”

The squad leader immediately felt at ease upon hearing that. She smiled. ”Usually, we see that you’re quite tolerant. If not…”

The squad leader shut up awkwardly.

There was no need to mention the past. It was all in the past. It was over. Wouldn’t she be making herself uncomfortable if she mentioned it again?

She wouldn’t talk about it anymore. As long as Ye Jian was still in their unit, they were not allowed to talk about the past.
