Chapter 2260: Chapter 2260: The Most Poisonous Is a Woman’s Heart

Octopus?

Wyrella Holt pressed, ”What happened with you three, why did you go deep under this water? It’s bottomless, perception is shrouded, how dare you go down?”

One of the disciples replied, ”We weren’t planning on going down, but we saw a blood dragonfish two or three meters long, its aura was so strong we could sense it from afar, and we couldn’t resist the temptation, so we tried to catch that blood dragonfish. But as soon as we went underwater, we were immediately captured by the octopus’ tentacles.”

”We couldn’t even escape, we could only send out a distress signal immediately. Originally, we all thought we were doomed, but the octopus didn’t seem in a hurry to kill us. Instead, it just trapped us underwater, leisurely playing with us.”

Another disciple added, ”It’s like a cat catching a mouse, not in a hurry to eat it, but slowly playing with the mouse until it’s bored, then it’ll eat it...”

Virelia Jaramillo asked, ”Is that octopus very powerful?”

The disciple replied, ”We are all Golden Immortals, but in front of it, we’re like infants who don’t even know how to walk, with no ability to resist. Just now, our master descended and started fighting the octopus, and we took the opportunity to run away...”

Wyrella Holt pressed, ”How did the battle go?”

The three disciples exchanged glances, their expressions somewhat hesitant.

”It was too dark underwater, I couldn’t see clearly...”

”Our master didn’t seem to have an absolute advantage, the octopus’ tentacles covered the sky, engulfing our master.”

Everyone was quite shocked; Orion Watson is a Great Land Immortal, yet he couldn’t defeat an octopus.

How powerful must this octopus be?

Virelia Jaramillo tilted her head and asked, ”Should we go down and help?”

Wyrella Holt didn’t rush to answer, instead carefully asked, ”Is the octopus monster the only enemy underwater?”

”Yes, I didn’t see other enemies, but there seems to be a structure underwater...”

Wyrella Holt and Virelia Jaramillo’s eyes widened suddenly, ”What structure?”

This world was previously uninhabited by humans, how could there be any structures?

Magical beasts need nests too, but their nests are at most caves, not structures.

The disciple shook his head, ”The water is too deep, too dark, can’t see clearly, I just vaguely saw the tip of a structure’s apex, it doesn’t seem like a naturally formed...”

Another disciple confirmed and added, ”That octopus is huge, most of its body is hidden under this structure, we only saw its long tentacles.”

Wyrella Holt and Virelia Jaramillo exchanged glances, and spoke simultaneously, ”Let’s go down and take a look.”

Wyrella Holt turned and said, ”Fellow Flores, please wait in the air, we’ll go down and have a look.”

Carson Flores nodded, ”Alright!”

Though Carson Flores was also curious what was below, even if there were benefits with three Great Land Immortals going down together, it wouldn’t be Carson Flores’ turn. Also, there was a giant octopus down there.

Wyrella Holt and Virelia Jaramillo both descended, following the automatically opened path, heading downward.

Soon, the violent tremors and clashes from underwater became increasingly intense, columns of water shot into the sky, the entire water surface became like a stormy sea.

Carson Flores and the others above watched, hearts pounding.

Three Great Land Immortals, yet unable to deal with a giant octopus?

This is too exaggerated.

The tremors lasted for over ten minutes, the water surface was split open, and Orion Watson among others burst out of the water.

Carson Flores looked closely, heart instantly shocked.

Orion Watson’s shoulder blade area was a bloody large patch, a tentacle covered in suction cups pierced through his shoulder like a spear. This tentacle had been severed but seemed still alive, wriggling, struggling, as if trying to escape.

Although Wyrella Holt and Virelia Jaramillo didn’t have obvious injuries, their faces were pale, hair disheveled, eyes filled with concealed fear.

Carson Flores realized things weren’t right, taking a step out, disappearing instantly from above the water.

At the same time, several giant tentacles suddenly broke through the water surface, swinging towards everyone in the air.

A tentacle rushed towards Icy Watson like lightning, her pupils shrank suddenly, she didn’t have time to escape far, she quickly darted to the side, instantly hiding behind another male disciple.

The male disciple’s face was terrified, golden light of the barrier shone on his body, the next second, the tentacle swept in like lightning, with a crack directly shattering the barrier, the tentacle pierced through the male disciple’s chest like a steel spear.

The male disciple screamed, the next second, his body suddenly shriveled up, turning into a dried corpse in a blink.

Icy Watson seized this brief moment to frantically flee backwards, staying away from the water surface, managing to escape disaster in panic.

Carson Flores turned to see this scene, heart coldly laughing, truly a woman’s heart is the most venomous!
