The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 854: Chapter 854: Saving One is One

When the Flying Crane Divine Lotus Lamp spewed purple flames, Carson Flores’s heart suddenly tightened.

Trap!

Carson threw himself at the controls of the Flying Boat, pouring all his Spiritual Energy into steering the craft backwards at full speed.

Jayceon Collins shouted, ”What are you doing?”

Carson responded, ”It’s a trap, if we don’t run now, we’re definitely going to die!”

Jayceon Collins angrily yelled, ”The Supreme Elder is here, too, have you lost your mind?”

No sooner had Jayceon Collins finished speaking than he saw a huge dragon claw emerge from the magma pool, smacking Ezequiel Randall and Roland Browning directly into the flames.

Jayceon Collins turned pale, ”Crimson Dragon Demon King!”

Given that the Flying Crane Divine Lotus Lamp, a magical treasure of the Crimson Dragon Demon King, had shown up and such a powerful dragon claw had emerged to smack both Ezequiel Randall and Roland Browning away, who else could it be but the Crimson Dragon Demon King, who had disappeared for hundreds of years?

Ridge Hamilton turned into a streak of light from behind and landed inside the Flying Boat, his face grave.

”Hurry up and go!”

Ridge Hamilton’s task was to take good care of Samantha Tate, who had a Wood Spirit Physique. With the appearance of the Crimson Dragon Demon King, he was nowhere near strong enough to fight; his only option was to leave with Samantha as soon as possible.

Since the Crimson Dragon Demon King was already on a killing spree, he naturally wouldn’t mind killing more Cultivators. If he discovered that Samantha was a Wood Spirit Physique, he definitely wouldn’t let her go.

The Flying Boat had flown hundreds of miles before Ridge Hamilton finally sighed with relief. However, just then, a disciple on the boat suddenly cried out in terror, ”Someone is chasing us, and he... he’s so fast!”

Ridge Hamilton turned in horror and indeed saw a handsome young man rapidly approaching.

His expression was relaxed, and his movements were graceful, yet his speed was incredibly fast.

Much faster than the Flying Boat!

When Ridge first saw him, he was just a dot, but in a few blinks of an eye, he had already caught up to the rear of the Flying Boat.

Ridge Hamilton felt his scalp tingle, his eyes filled with terror.

If the Crimson Dragon Demon King had caught up so quickly, didn’t that mean that Ezequiel Randall and Roland Browning had already been killed?

If it were anyone else, Ridge Hamilton would not believe it, since Ezequiel Randall, as the Supreme Elder of Heavenly Mountain Cave, was supremely powerful, though not quite as strong as the Cave Master— who could possibly kill him?

Moreover, right next to Ezequiel Randall was Roland Browning, no less powerful than him. Roland Browning was the Supreme Elder of another region’s cave, also a formidable figure.

However, that man was the Crimson Dragon Demon King, the notorious Crimson Dragon Demon King from six centuries ago!

Seeing the Crimson Dragon Demon King who had already caught up to the rear of the Flying Boat, Ridge Hamilton called out in despair, ”Crimson Dragon King, you are a renowned Demon King. Don’t you worry about tarnishing your reputation by attacking younger generations?”

The Crimson Dragon King smiled and said, ”I’ve already killed your Heavenly Mountain’s Supreme Elder, and I don’t mind killing a few more youngsters. Fame? I’ve never cared about that. A Five Elements Spiritual Body, once it grows, will be a threat to my Demon Race...”

The disciples of Heavenly Mountain on the Flying Boat all turned pale, their eyes wide with fear.

Carson Flores was equally terrified. He never expected that coming to find Samantha Tate would mean encountering a top-tier Demon King, and that this top-tier Demon King was actually chasing after him!

It was just his rotten luck!

Is it now a trend among the Demon Race to use divine items as bait to lure and kill Human Cultivators?

Seeing that the Crimson Dragon King was drawing near, Ridge Hamilton knew that waiting any longer meant they would all die, none could escape. Grinding his teeth, he shouted, ”Everyone split up, if even one of us can live, it’s something... Go!”

At the same time, the Flying Crane Divine Lotus Lamp floating before the Crimson Dragon King spewed out a jet of purple flame, hurling itself at the Flying Boat.

All aboard were horrified, their scalps tingling with terror, and almost instantly, they all teleported away from the Flying Boat.

In an instant, the Flying Boat was engulfed in purple flames, its shield instantly shattered, and the craft was instantly destroyed by the fierce flames, melting into molten metal.

”Hold on to me.”

Carson Flores grabbed Samantha Tate and shouted in a low voice while rapidly flying forward; the other disciples also scattered in different directions.

Jayceon Collins quickly glanced at Carson Flores and Samantha Tate, only to be surprised to discover that Carson was not using a flying sword but was actually flying with his physical body!

Nascent Soul?

He had only entered the Barbarian Wilderness a little over a year ago; how could he possibly have acquired Nascent Soul strength?

Impossible!

How could anyone cultivate at such a speed? This guy must definitely have some magical treasure that grants the ability to fly.

The urgency left Jayceon Collins with no time to think more about it; he instinctively chose to flee in the opposite direction to Carson Flores and Samantha Tate.

Since the Crimson Dragon King was after Samantha Tate, he would surely go after her first, right? Heading in the opposite direction, his chances of survival would naturally be higher.

Perhaps after killing Samantha Tate, the Crimson Dragon King might consider him and others irrelevant and give up the chase.

Ridge Hamilton, tasked with protecting Samantha Tate, instinctively rushed towards her with the intent to escape, but just as he started, a giant dragon claw, made of Spiritual Energy, viciously smashed down towards them.
