Three Towers Game

Chapter 1345: Chapter 427: You Started It First_2

Simply put, in the next ten days, she will complete the top ten actions that received the highest votes from forum users.

One action per day.

At first, this post didn’t get much attention, and the comments below were mostly like ”just for show,” ”a new trick from a welfare queen?”, ”just trying to attract attention, and any action is acceptable? Would you even streak if demanded?”

The main posts that everyone discussed were about the apocalypse.

Yes, there were various oddities concerning the apocalypse.

Different cases in the heavy rain of Jiangcheng, corpses opening their eyes in Southeast Asia...

And the bizarre rat plague in Mo’en City.

Plus the various ghost stories from Ghost City.

The apocalyptic atmosphere was so thick that everyone was discussing some strange tales.

The discussion about these tales on the forum was extremely popular.

However, Ning Shu’s post was indeed slowly gaining traction.

Because Ning Shu seriously replied to everyone:

”Just for show?”

”No, it’s something I earnestly want to complete in the end.”

”A new trick from a welfare queen?”

”Don’t really understand.”

”Just trying to attract attention, and any action is acceptable? Would you even streak if demanded?”

”If that’s the highest requirement in today’s votes.”

Ning Shu’s response kept the post from dying out.

She occasionally also posted a ”building block” reply to bump her post to the top.

But soon, it was again suppressed by various discussions about the apocalypse.

Wen Xishu was even wondering...

If this post didn’t stir up anything, would Ning Shu still find a way to live past these ten days?

But clearly, he underestimated the Judge.

The Judge had a trump card of popularity.

As the first day ended, it was time to play a card.

”The content for the first day on the forum is entirely over. Next is card playing. The good news is — this game has a rule favorable to you, which is that you have fewer cards, and the side with fewer cards can play later.”

The Judge said this and played the first card — the hotspot card.

And soon a special event appeared on the screen —

[A mysterious flow of traffic visited a corner, and everyone’s attention shifted here. Under the massive traffic, many options began to emerge.]

Wen Xishu really wished he had a card to lower the hype, like suddenly playing a celebrity scandal card, a card for a director’s recording leak, or a card for Wang holding a concert to divert attention.

But clearly, he wasn’t lucky enough to have those cards.

After the Judge played the card, the simulation ran for about three hours.

Under the immense hype, Ning Shu’s post reached over ten thousand replies.

Ning Shu started a thread by saying:

”Sorry, I really want to respond to everyone, but my energy is limited, and I can’t keep up with everyone’s pace.”

”I will choose the ten actions with the most likes and initiate daily voting. For many other actions suggested by various netizens, I can only skip due to my limited capacity.”

Wen Xishu frowned.

Ning Shu’s reply was merely fleeting, but he still managed to capture it with his excellent dynamic vision.

Though this girl seemed to be using herself to please others, she still appeared apologetic as if she hadn’t satisfied everyone.

He silently noted this.

After three hours of simulation, the current most liked option — was streaking.

In Wen Xishu’s past life, a girl had started a similar social experiment. However, the first seven options were quite normal.

Hugging ten strangers, embracing someone of the opposite sex for an hour, dancing with old men in a public square, holding a sign in a busy street, watching a movie with netizens, buying Goubuli buns in Tianjin to give to netizens...

These initial tasks were fairly normal.

But starting from the seventh, the tone changed suddenly. As the hype built, many already realized the girl was genuinely participating, leading to darker options borne from either submission tests or societal backlash dominating.

Eating excrement and streaking became the seventh and eighth tasks.

This was a real case in Wen Xishu’s previous life.

But now, Ning Shu’s challenge is clearly more difficult.

First, the girl in the previous life had an outgoing personality, whereas Ning Shu had already decided to end her life.

Second, though there were many dark-minded people before, the good outnumbered them, and everyone was mentally stable. But now, people’s mental states were somewhat deranged around the apocalypse.

So streaking topped the list in the first round.

There were no heartwarming little tests, no plans to hug strangers or sing songs.

From the start, it was tinged with malice.

The Judge chuckled:

”It’s your turn to play a card, are you regretting now? If you choose evil, it might be me racking my brains instead.”

Wen Xishu didn’t act this round...

He played a blank card.

In other words, in this round, he accepted that streaking would be the first task for Ning Shu.

This somewhat surprised the Judge:

”Have you given up?”

Wen Xishu seemed distracted.

His eyes were somewhat vacant, as if his mind wandered away somewhere.

The Judge gently tapped the gambling table:

”Afraid?”

After a long pause, Wen Xishu finally regained his senses:

”Let’s continue.”

He seemed not to hear what the Judge had said earlier.

The Judge didn’t notice some fleeting changes.

The game continued.

Since Wen Xishu didn’t interfere at all, soon the game moved on to the second round of simulation.

Without a doubt, the streaking option had the highest votes.

Most comments below were malicious:

”She actually just wants to streak but is finding an excuse.”

”Gotta say, not many female deities with such a sense of participation can be found. I like this form, let’s have more.”

”Don’t you guys think you’re kind of overstepping?”

”If you think it’s overstepping, you don’t have to watch, but don’t say it’s too much while your hand votes nevertheless.”

”It’s just the master’s task, a big fuss over it.”

Of course, there were a few benevolent comments, but those were often attacked.

Wen Xishu believed that even those who criticized might not be so evil in real life. They might even adhere to the principle of doing good deeds and being a good person, but some tendencies are magnified online.

Ultimately, with the simulation, Ning Shu sent in footage of her streaking in a bustling street.

Wen Xishu watched very closely...

Not because he liked it, but because he was looking for some information.

”A person who has decided to end her life still earnestly replies to every post and even feels apologetic that she didn’t respond to everyone.”

”She should be the kind of person who wants to do everything right in life and can’t stand making mistakes.”

”Such people often have enormous pressure on them and usually won’t allow others to see their vulnerability.”

”But my judgment might not be accurate, after all, the situation dictates it’s impossible for all options to be filled with goodwill. Whether it’s the public opinion environment or the number of cards the Judge has, Ning Shu has to endure some disgusting options.”

”But this might not be a bad thing. And since she has decided to commit suicide, Ning Shu might not find such actions unbearable.”

”This, however, is an opportunity to observe.”

Wen Xishu had seen such people in real life, who can’t tolerate even a tiny mistake, and fear and dread small errors as if the sky is about to fall.

Their own suffering isn’t much, but if others perceive them poorly... it becomes very draining.

Ning Shu’s streaking in the street stirred huge discussion and hype.

”Ah Zhen, are you serious?”

”Too skinny, uninteresting.”

”Sigh... she must be very upset.”

”I’m looking forward to the next one now, streaking isn’t a big deal, right? What if she has exhibitionism, and maybe she even feels great?”

”Indeed, we should choose something more challenging.”

”Agree with the one above.”

The forum replies came one after another.

Wen Xishu’s gaze was constantly observing Ning Shu’s expression.

He was becoming more convinced of his judgment.

Meanwhile, the special info caught the Judge by surprise.

[Ning Shu’s internal pressure -5.]

That was the information from the gambling table.

The Judge frowned slightly. How did her pressure decrease?

Wen Xishu wasn’t pleased about this.

When a person makes certain decisions to give up completely, they often find some kind of release, especially someone who demands perfection from themselves.

But this doesn’t change anything.

If his tricks didn’t work, then Ning Shu was surely doomed.

After all, even without the Judge playing a card, the malice from the forum was almost erupting.

In the apocalyptic context, humans were still too deranged.

Luckily, Wen Xishu had already decided to take an unconventional approach.

Among many fleeting posts on the forum, there was one post that even the Judge didn’t pay attention to.

Quickly, the game reached the second round of card playing.

The Judge played a ”sensual indulgence card,” illustrated with a person drinking.

Its effect targeted the general public, encouraging ”live for the moment, regardless of consequences.”

This card, doubtlessly, would thoroughly ignite people’s inner celebrations.

Some more malicious options would definitely resurface because of it.

If Wen Xishu didn’t play a card this time, it would surely lead to a collapse of the situation.
